Well done. Thanks again to the entire team for sharing. Eric, you are a genius. Putting should not count as a full stroke. Putts should be a half-stroke. hehe.
The "bro science" at 23:55 just cracked me up! Have either of you served in an artillery unit? The problem with the assumption you made is that delivered loft at impact is not the same as the static loft on the club. But thank you for doing it. The results almost made me inhale a cashew nut!
13:45 is what I live for in golf. The hole after you save a par, It's just a great feeling of a pure strike on the ball on your line. Reaction is exactly what I feel.
The comment about the shacks at the 10-minute mark is so on point. Just this pristine, not particularly cheap, course in the beautiful pine forests of east Texas that has been played by celebrities and presidents. Then you're rolling down the fairway and this dilapidated shanty pops out of nowhere. I also hope you all got to experience the dormitory housing where the non-double eagle members stay on their golf trips!
Not sure I would call this the most difficult course in Texas but it IS one fantastic course. Beautiful layout and always in excellent condition. On trips from Austin to Dallas, my wife and I have been known to drive to Pine Dunes first and tee it up before continuing. Certainly worth the trip!
I technically got a (my first) hole in one first round after receiving my new RJC X TOMO Ace Cam shoes 11/27 was the round. So happy I have come across this community!!
Play Blackjack’s Crossing at Lajitas sometime. Another course that has topped that list, and the scenery is fantastic. Would make a great video. I’ll be there in February.
Solid course , played there for 20 years, a bit pricey , but it’s a solid track, i probably won over 10 golf tournaments there albeit high school or the junior tour, but it’s a course that provides options on tee shots and approach shots with beautiful mystical corridors Plus my deer lease is 7 miles from it so I still play it some
You should check out Lost Pines Golf Club in Cedar Creek. Now that might actually be the hardest course in Texas. I'm a member out there so let me know if you'd like to come out sometime!
Incidentally, I was +8 on my front 9 literally today, and shot 77, so while I haven't seen the whole video yet...you got this. Here's some good luck from the future, or the past I guess...whatever, I think I'm rambling
Pine Dunes is a pure shot makers course. Top Public TX Courses IMO - 1. Blackjack Crossing 2. TPC San Antonio 3. Tournament Course - GC of Houston 4. Pine Dunes 5. Memorial Park - Houston
This looked waaay to much like me playing golf. Lol. If I could hit the fairway even 50% of the time I would probably shave a consistent 6 to 8 strokes off my game. 😄
To be fair, as he very accurately mentioned, he brought his C game. I've seen him play MUCH better golf in his time. If he practiced putting and brought his A game I could see him breathing down the neck of a scratch golfer but maybe I'm optimistic. Also, dude broke 90 playing nowhere near the top of his game. Can't set a goal that easy to beat.
I think it’s a fair comment tho - how many times after I round have you said ‘if I just did x I could have shot y’. The Breaking 80 title was to get clicks.
@@twatchko01 naw. I've watched almost all of his videos. I understand what you mean, a lot of times I "could've" broken 80 but never do. That's not the case here though. He actually played some of the worst golf I've ever seen him play. He absolutely has potential to break 80. Who would want to watch a video called "breaking 90" and then watch him hit the goal easily not even playing that well.... Also, no one ever did anything impressive by setting an easy goal.
@@iDOESitMyself nah totally disagree. I’ve watched all his videos and he’s never broken 80 on camera. They are all Breaking 90 series at major champ venues. He’s a single digit hdcp and can prob do it here and there but not happening with a 2 way miss with the driver and putting like that. Also anyone who breaks 80 regularly isn’t saying I brought my C game. Setting a goal to break 80 is fine but you don’t accomplish it before the round. It’s just to get clicks.
EAL, the only golfer on RUclips who will 3-putt from 15 ft then follow it up with a casual 1-putt from 30 ft 😂
Mr Gilmore accomplished that feat no more than an hour ago
I’m incredible at that too lol
I see my friends and I do that all the time, the 3putt is for bogie and the 30ft putts are in for a double hahah
Let’s go!!! A regular play for me! So happy to see it get publicity, it’s an amazing course for this area of east Texas!
EAL, after hitting half his drives in the trees or OB: “You know it’s crazy: I feel it’s all about wedges.”
He had some serious hooks there!!!!
Pine Dunes is such a great course! It’s like a mini East Texas spin on Pine Valley.
Love the aesthetics of this channel. So nice to watch
I love this golfing in wilderness show, it's very relatable.
the pga tour 2004 heart beats at 20:27 hahahaha absolute classic
Thanks, we love your content - you're the best!
Thanks, Rob!
Thanks, Rob!!

Excellent demonstration of the 2 way miss off the tee. 85 from where you drove it not bad at all!
The "bro science" at 23:55 just cracked me up! Have either of you served in an artillery unit?

"If you don't give up on golf, it won't give up on you"
Great line from EAL. Something I will definitely be telling myself at the low points of rounds
This is the kind of putting I hope for in my game lol. Man that chip in on 10 was stunning. Beautiful course! Great work you guys!
Gotta love Texas! Love the videos! I see you struggle and I imagine I would’ve done the same thing.

Man this video was great. Definitely up there as a favorite. Everything was casual and natural. Loved it
Means a lot, James. Had a blast making it.

The uptick in Keffer being in content and not just in the background is what we want!
Whispering Pines is also one of the hardest courses in Texas. I'd love to see you play it.
I high fived myself when EAL chipped in on #10! 😆 Those are the ones that keep you coming back.
" is that gonna work?" at 24 minutes was hilarious!🤣
The BEST public course I have ever played. Absolutely LOVE Pine Dunes! Hidden Gem!
The par on hole 10 is what makes the round worth it.
These break 80 videos are great. Please play Bluejack National!
Just happen to scroll through the comments when they got to #10 and was like no way. Then boom, it happened. What a hole.
I technically got a (my first) hole in one first round after receiving my new RJC X TOMO Ace Cam shoes 11/27 was the round. So happy I have come across this community!!
Erik's Horticulture show, you know if you called it break 90 and got 85 you can say you smashed it! Good fun! I do like that olive bag.
Great jokes today. On fire with the * and encouraging dip
Need more of these! 🏌️♂️
Your coach won't admit it! Love your series.
Love the behind EVNROLL putter shot.
I try to land my clubs on my forward shoulder, not the turf. Was pretty sure you miss-hit that chip, until it broke straight to the cup!
nice bag.
Lol that comment on dip, so true
didn`t expect Erik to be a normal human being and eating m&m like we all do!!
I’ve a heart problem and when he chipped in I honestly thought that was my heartbeat 😂 great shot. Love the series.
Hahaha, sorry Bilbo
Play Blackjack’s Crossing at Lajitas sometime. Another course that has topped that list, and the scenery is fantastic. Would make a great video. I’ll be there in February.
I LOVE this course. I try to play there at least once a month if I can. It’ll give you a run for your money!
Pine Dunes is such a fun course. Going back this spring!
Played here a bunch growing up, it’s the hardest course in Anderson county! But not too tough overall
17:06 well well well, if it isn’t fancy meeting what the cat finally decided to show up.
Love the Music in this video!
4 and a half minutes in and I see why he hired the young golf addict 😂 great chemistry can’t wait to keep watching
Nice water fountain shot btdubs ⛲️ @5:08
Format of a shorter, yet still full 18 round 👍
Thanks for the watch, Rob!
- the young golf addict
I paused 17:05. laughing so hard. I might need to start using that phrase.
Solid course , played there for 20 years, a bit pricey , but it’s a solid track, i probably won over 10 golf tournaments there albeit high school or the junior tour, but it’s a course that provides options on tee shots and approach shots with beautiful mystical corridors
Plus my deer lease is 7 miles from it so I still play it some
Played it this year. Fun course!
The Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005 heart beat on hole 10 really did it for me!
One of our favorites in the state.
Great video as always
Love this course.
Aside from the teebox being rude to you, the rest of the game looked dialed! Looked like a great course!
"I'm not an agronomist but it sounds good to me" LOL
The guy in the bucket hat reminds me of the friend in Rookie of the Year
I broke 80 today at Southern Hills in Hawkinsville GA. Shot 79. Oooh Rah!
12:33 GOD DAMN THAT TEMPO 🤯
I feel like I could beat you on a bad day after staying up till 3am watching your vids
You should check out Lost Pines Golf Club in Cedar Creek. Now that might actually be the hardest course in Texas. I'm a member out there so let me know if you'd like to come out sometime!
so great, to watch....
Incidentally, I was +8 on my front 9 literally today, and shot 77, so while I haven't seen the whole video yet...you got this. Here's some good luck from the future, or the past I guess...whatever, I think I'm rambling
Nice video mate 🏌🏽♂️
Pine dunes is a good course I've played there a few times...the pinnacle at cedar creek lake is fun
Great course, middle of nowhere, totally worth the trip
swing is looking good
Pine Dunes is a pure shot makers course.
Top Public TX Courses IMO - 1. Blackjack Crossing 2. TPC San Antonio 3. Tournament Course - GC of Houston 4. Pine Dunes 5. Memorial Park - Houston
Played out here last year with some buddies. Easily a top 3 course I’ve ever played
If you think pine dunes is tough… you should try the Texarkana golf ranch. Slope rating of 149 from the tips… talk about a hidden gem in Texas
DAMN! How fast are those greens
Is it really warm enough to golf in Texas right now???
what ever camera effects were used in this...keep them. Loved the vibe of this one!
Not your best golf but as always, a positive attitude. Fun video!
I lost it on "tattoo on your back, hole in 1 with an asterick" followed by that weirdo look. My mind went there.
Great course
Came here to watch golf and left with a game about eating M&M’s that will change my life forever.
hole 10 was class
the putt on 3 is exactly why we keep going out
I have never related to a shot tracer more than Lang's tee shot on 10. Brooks'd the shit out of that one.
This looked waaay to much like me playing golf. Lol. If I could hit the fairway even 50% of the time I would probably shave a consistent 6 to 8 strokes off my game. 😄
Played there Monday and found like 3 green Vices
Dude y’all came to Pine Dunes!
Do you come across times where you think you need to rush in front of the camera?
Go play "white stone" in Benbrook Texas
You two need to compete in a scramble together😁
He should be making break 90 videos. 👍
I think he is enjoying himself without the pressure of practicing and all the technical baggage, finding a happy medium is not easy.

we need the bob does sports RGC cross over
Video should have been titled EAL plays high AF at Texas course 🤣
Great vid, honestly if you weren't having an off day with the driver you would've had a really solid round
Must be great to play golf with Riley Gale back from the dead :D
Looks like me trying to break 80. Except I never try to break 80. If it happens I'm happy, but I don't expect to do it on command.
Pine dunes is super legit!
"Length ain't the issue, it's dispersion."
That needs to be on a hat or T-Shirt.
😂😂😂 it is like one of those weird checks for 6 dollars
YES these are the type of vids we love! Do we have a RRP on the nee bag?
Sick cap 🔥
EAL: new irons??
330 drive YEW! #17
Waits till 17 to rotate correctly. Relatable
YOU SHOULD COLLAB WITH GOOD GOOD GOLF!!!!
yess
The swing thought jar
sometimes u have to play the whole course (woods and all) to get ur moneys worth c:
You guys didn’t really seem to enjoy playing that course at all. Definitely felt like I was watching someone do their job lol
Erik your putter sounds horrible .
EAL is just more afraid of the fairway than he is of ticks.
