  • One or more of your colors not printing on your older model Epson printer?
    Printing but getting lines or bands in your prints?
    DON’T THROW OUT THE PRINTER! Try this manual print head cleaning method! I have an Epson Workforce WF7720 but this will work on other older model, non ecotank printers as well.
    No, you don’t have to remove the print head or run a bunch of cleaning cycles on your printer! And you won’t fill up your maintenance box!

    I have a feeling that when you get updates, the Epson company sabotages the printer so it fails and you then have yo buy a new one. Some code or algorhythm that causes a malfunction. The model WF 7720 has been discontinued. I mean, really, what do you think?

    • @misskg03
      @misskg03  Месяц назад

      They definitely build an ‘end of life’ date into everything now so it works only for so much time and starts going bad. It forces us to keep buying.

    I have a WF 7720 and I thought I followed this to the t. I cleaned it until I didn't see anymore ink come out and left it for the night. I came back and the whole thing was black. I did the print nozzle check and the first page was blank. Second had a little bit of broken magenta. I did a print head cleaning (yes I know the maintenance box but I'm desperate. I need this now) which then gave me a little bit of black on the nozzle check but still doesn't print a test page. At this point, I'm wondering if it straight up broke it when I at least had B&W printing before. I started another round but is there something else I should be doing?

    • @misskg03
      @misskg03  Месяц назад

      Sorry it took me so long to respond! Try printing purge pages and make sure your ink cartridges didn’t drain completely. If they did, add more ink and try the nozzle check again and purge sheets if necessary.

    Hi, Thank you so much for this manual cleaning tutorial, and also about the maintenance box!
    May I check with you about the nozzle check? After using a cleaning kit bought online, I found my nozzle check can finally print the black color, but it still only print one column of black when doing nozzle check print(in the video your printout has two columns of black ink). What is the problem if only one black ink got printed? Thanks!

    • @misskg03
      @misskg03  Год назад

      Hi. I’m not sure about the one column versus 2. Is your printer a 7720? A different model the nozzle check may be different. Do you remember what the nozzle check looked like before?

    • @wmroo
