    Hi,
    I have just got mine and have noticed it have some flare-up’s at the back bottom part of the oven. Is there any one with the same issue? Or, is this just normal and that’s the reason for those back vents?
    Thank you!

    What temp were you able to get the stone to before baking?

    • @RadFamilyAZ
      @RadFamilyAZ  Год назад

      I’ve never checked but I let it run on medium for about 10 minutes before using it

    How is the oven holding up? I have gone through two of them. Had to return them as the turntable stopped spinning. Seems to be a design flaw with the roller bearings under the turntable. The bearings seized up and the stone stopped spinning. As a result the motor would burn out. Too bad because I really liked it when it worked. Good concept bud bad implementation / design.

      I haven’t had any issues yet but I only use to around 8-10 times per year.

    Great vid. What's the heat like below and to the sides? Trying to figure what surface I might need to put it on.

    • @RadFamilyAZ

      I have used it on a plastic camping table without any issue. I never checked the temp but it doesn’t feel really warm or hot on the surface it sits on.

    Does it come with a front shield/cover? So yiu dont loose heat while waitong between pizzas?

    • @RadFamilyAZ
      @RadFamilyAZ  4 месяца назад

      No it does not. I don’t think we lose heat. Just crank up the temp between pizzas and get the stone nice and hot again.

    • @RadFamilyAZ
      @RadFamilyAZ  2 месяца назад

      It does not. But in between pizzas I usually turn the temperature up a bit to make sure the stone is nice and hot.

    Thank you for the vid can you really taste the difference with the smoke?

    • @ruanltbg
      @ruanltbg 4 месяца назад

      I don't believe so, the smoke is on top and in front of the oven, that will simply go out.

    • @RadFamilyAZ
      @RadFamilyAZ  2 месяца назад

      I agree, I’m not sure the smoke adds too much value, or taste.

    my pizza bottom doesnt cook, what to do?

    • @RadFamilyAZ
      @RadFamilyAZ  Год назад +1

      Make sure the stone is hot. Preheat for 10-15 minutes. Make sure your crust is thin. I have also for dough I cannot get thin, throw just the doe on the stone to cook for 2 minutes per side, then I pull it out and load sauce, toppings etc and cook.

    • @RadFamilyAZ
      @RadFamilyAZ  Месяц назад

      @@jefferson007 the times I’ve used pellets I can say it was not that noticeable. The pizza cooks so fast, don’t think there is time for the flavor to sink in.

      Yup, one of mine broke in shipping but it's a tiny piece. I left mine out so it didn't jam the turntable

    It's hard to get the bottom to cook. No wonder he made a tortilla pizza. Just use your oven.

      You have to get the dough thin enough and it will cook through. I tried several for recipes before I found one that worked well

      Get an infrared heat thermometer and heat that pizza stone to at least 750 deg. before cooking your pizza. Problem solved!
