The story is horrifying but tye delivery of retelling is what makes it funny, not what happened to him.

I don’t understand why everyone says “you need a friend like Andy” but at any point he could have pulled Billy aside to try stopping this and if Billy didn’t listen, Andy should have left like everyone else. He enabled him until the end. To me, Andy was just as bad in the documentary. Have some self respect.

Andy King is the guy you want on your team when things are at their worst. Dedication and commitment to getting things done. Andy King saved the situation from being far worse than it was.
No, quite the opposite. You need a friend to look you in the eye and say enough is enough. Not some guy who will perform oral sex on anyone he has to or more to the point, wants to.
@@bobbywoods684 at the end of the day, he should have never been asked to do that. they were in a desperate situation, and so with desperate times come desperate measures. at that point, I would've left the team, hell I woulda left way before then probably, but I can't judge Andy for that. I watched this with my dad a few days ago and when this part came on, I felt a mixture of shock, bewilderment, and disgust. How the hell would something like this unironically even cross someone’s mind for being a solution to this kind of a problem?
How he delivers this story is hilarious.
I think part of the reason why he told this story is so he wouldn't get blackmailed.
In a podcast (can't find the link right now but it's on YT) he said he told the story just for background, assuming they'd never use it. When he found out they considered it the heart of the documentary and intended to use it, he objected... but relented when they insisted. Incidentally, his business has skyrocketed and everyone wants him for all sorts of advice.

Pretty much everyone saw that it was probably a fraud as it was happening but they were in denial because they trusted McFarland and they were already in too deep
Frye would be potentially the biggest event if it’s successful, that’s why a lot of people in the team put it all in. I don’t think years of experience can change something you are just simply really passionate about.

I understand this is probably a joke, but if anyone wants an actual HR answer, this is undoubtedly encouraging "Quid pro quo" sexual harassment, and almost certainly would get you sued or legally sanctioned in some way by the government. You definitely don't want to get sued, and you definitely don't want to open yourself up to liability from employees in their first week.
