Dok the Mosquito is using a FatShark Pilot v2 - obsolete now at just 720p but still very usable. On my other planes I use either a Mobius 1 which can split the lens away on a separate lead, or a Runcam Split v2 which does the same thing. Both are 1080p, but the Split can operate at 60 fps which the Mobius cannot.
@@johnlancaster1960 Robo,Thanks for the reply..👌What radio do you use? Im on the taranis QX7 with the (External) Trinity fat shark head tracker, and my Goggles are the V2 Fatsharks But im having problems getting it to work😬I can get my Pan/Tilt to work of any switch on my radio but no joy on the Trinity..I'm just wondering if you've got any tips or tricks i might be missing 🙏... Keep up your Awesome vids😍
@@thedok7333 I use a Taranis X9d Pro and have never used the QX7. They use the same protocolsthough so it should work. When you look in the menu go to the mixer page - that lets you program what input supplies instructions to the P&T. Assuming you are using the trainer port for your goggles, the p&t should be set up for an input called "TR" plus a number. The "TR" tells it to get instructions from the trainer port as source of signal, and the number tells it what channel you have plugged p&t into. I usually use channels 7 & 8 for my p&t so on the mixer page scroll down to channel 7 to program pan, go to edit and you will see an option to enter the source - it would be set on "TR7". Do the same for tilt on channel 8 selecting TR8 as source. If you plug your P&T into different channels select the appropriate number.Hope that helps.
Look forward to seeing the Pitts. At this end, 2017 is going to bring back the Hurricane and Moth upgraded to 1080p, both already set for the weather. It also will bring a P15b, well under way, and the big project is a B17 with multiple crew positions, started already but cost and scale of task will make for a slow build.
For most of these I was using either a Fatshark Pilot2 camera (720p) or a Mobius (1080p). The transmitters are either Fatshark or eachine with a clover leaf antenna.
Absolutely brilliant. Can't wait for the B-17 in 2017. Keep up your great art work.
Brilliant clips there.Had to look twice when I saw Robobiggles in the opening shot, thought it was full size.Have a great 2017.

What camera and transmitter set up do you use. If you don't mind me asking
