    Can I use jowar flour instead of Maida? My kids hv gluten intolerance

      Hi! Thank you for writing to us.
      To answer your query, Maida is added to give the Crispy texture to the tortillas.
      Jowar won’t give the crispy texture.
      You can instead use Suji/Rava or Rice Flour. It will serve both Crispy-ness and gluten free tortillas.

    Also we don't say taco topping it's just called sauce. We used spicy sauce for tacos burritos or anything. Also tostadas it's better served with sour cream.

    I'll give you my recipe of bean tostadas. You can make it this way.
    Fried Pinto beans or black beans just salt and finel chopped half small onion. You can add hing Before frying.
    Ur tostadas should be thin.
    Once ur tostada is fried add beans in ur tostada and spread it all over
    Now add finely chopped lettuce. Chopped fresh tomatoe,shredder mozarellacheese, slice of avocado, some fresh onion, salt of you like... and add sour cream on top and some hot sauce ( in ur carbon steel comal u will cook green jalapeños the other half onion and tomatoes make sure skin its cooked and tomatoes and jalapeños are soft now take to grinder add some salt and some peaces of garlic don't make it to watery. Don't add water the tomatoes will release the juice . So after this the sauce its ready. Other is just to boild in some water the vegetables and follow same process after vegetables are soft.. That's simple homemade sauce. We have many kind but this Is more easy )

    I was about to make today and I didn't know what to cook so I google what should I cook for the day 😂. Now I'll make this tostadas. Also tostadas mostly are just like a side dish but we eat any time. Also this tostadas are healthy and many sources of vitamins. I will wait for the video of this recipe. ❤
