I bloody love this channel. You guys are the perfect example why linear tv is finished, channels like this are just better!
It's not that long ago that Fiat 500's were your bread and butter and making more than £200 profit was a good result. You've come a long way since then, and I for one am really enjoying the ride. Keep up the good work.
He’s still got them white trainers from them days too lol
And no more fly tipping videos 😂
These cars aren’t cheap to buy bits for you keep one of these until the warranty runs out and sell it or hand it back. This will bring strong money when it’s done
The Fiat 500 videos were great
Definitely still does fiat 500s. Easy money
Lads, just when I thought you'd reached the top with the cars you repair you knock it out the park with a 23 reg and M Sport also. Best car channel on RUclips bar none. 👍
fortune favours the brave, You guys deserve it. you're honest and up front and genuine about your love for your job and I appreciate that😊
Top guys
I know I must be old when Rob is saying that 'we will have to re-program the steering rack'! Well at least it drives forwards and backwards but that was a lot of work to get that far. Looking good though Gents. Chris will soon be able to start the bodywork which is his 'department'. Thanks Rob and Chris, I will await the next instalment on this one. 👍👍
Someone give poor Chris a Ratchet Spanner lol undoing them bolts under the front lol 😂
What a car looking forward to seeing this one done guys 👍
Chris’s look and voice at 23:44 was a picture “well now we know it runs I suppose we will have to spend some more money and order another load of bits” 😂😂😂😢😅😊. Absolute class!! Brilliant video lads!
Thank you for the great endorsement and footage. Love the video and look forward to seeing you again!
Wow, that's a lot of work and no better duo to do professional repair.. with the steering rack and engine mounting just goes to show how easy it is to get caught with unforseen repairs.. looking forward to see the rest of the repair..👍👍
Not being mechanically minded in any way I marvel at the knowledge and practical abilities and skills you guys have. To see a badly damaged car being brought back to perfect condition is an amazing thing for me to watch and really holds my interest. Keep it going!
Your entering a new league of salvage now, prices are crazy high, technology is advanced. The last 5 cars you have done are not your average plug and play run abouts anymore. Love tuning in especially as you have rebuilt 3 Volvos in which I am an massive fan of. Keep up the great work and content.
So pleased for you guys, Chris takes everything in his stride, and Rob your brilliant at getting the bits ,all in all your a good team.lovely to work on new cars ,makes stripping that much easier, thank you both for the great content.
Chris, have you thought about getting some "ratcheting ring spanners" for where you can't get a socket on?
You have to put performance tyres on this type of car guys Michelin or continental I think. Loving this rebuild
“Brand new, second hand.” I still love that phrase! 😂
Great to see Chris drive it out of the garage after all the hard work. Would be cool to see you code the new steering motor rack into the ECU.
The amount of cars you do , I love how your enthusiasm an excitement shows through Considering how long you’ve been doing this😎👍🏼
This has certainly been hands-on teamwork orientation. Well done, lads, certainly on to bigger and better things all through teamwork 👏
I’m loving the M4 chaps. There’s only 3 people I would let repair my categorised car, that’s you 2 and Arthur tussik. Brilliant work as always
Hi Rob and Chris, big one this one guy's, deep pocket time..!! Will be a beauty once completed to your usual standard. Great video, great content. Alex.
one the best channels on youtube guys.its like a good tv show
A lot of money for a hell of a lot of car, I hope that whoever gets it looks after it, Nice going both of you guys you got a lot of guts.
Lads how you to do such a great job fitting all those parts keeps amazing me well done
We laughed so hard! Chris crapped himself when that horn went off as he drove it out. 😂😂😂😂😂 Great vid guys. Keep it up.
What such good luck from the breakers they’ve a m4 in for parts needed lucky lads that’s going to be great help
Hello Chris and Rob, an astounding video, what a lot of exspencive parts!! Knowing that you shall rebuild this car to highest safety standard, with you both doing some technical stuff as well! Best wishes from Lincolnshire
Watching your videos makes me appreciate why so many cat s and cat n cars are out there….. insurance just write things off as to replace everything brand new from dealer parts would run into thousands. We have just put a crash damaged van that was written off back on the road for around £800. Insurance had it around 5k to repair! Following you & Chris gave us the confidence to follow your many examples. Not sure we are brave enough to try an M4 comp! Really enjoying watching your progress though. 👍👍
Poor Chris getting more depressed at the ever rising cost!🤣A cracking car when its completed. Enjoy the rest of your weekend guys...👍
Brilliant video again fellas the main thing I feel strongly about is 29oo pounds for a single head light is pretty strong the engine carrier is pretty cheap to me. Still looking forward to see this returned to its former glory sounds lovely when it's started up .stay lucky and healthy have a great weekend looking forward to Wednesday's video 📹 😊 as usual 👏. ❤😊
Good morning Rob and Chris, great results so far, lots of nice comments from your other viewers.
Thank you for taking the time to upload another video. Ged
good to see it coming together, the tyres also like they are going to be expensive, but it is a premium car and to get the best sale price it need the OEM parts and good rubber, like all your cars i bet it will be top quality rebuild!! thanks guys
That’s quite a large warehouse for parts Rob, nice to see guy’s getting on with their business, they must think that there’s a big market for parts, hope they do well, nice post guys, ps guys my mate has his own mechanic business and love’s BMW, personally I think because of the fact parts are so expensive I’ll stick with my RAV4 😊
😂 Chris getting the ump with part costs, it’s the way it going with Modern stuff…. Wait til Rob buys a salvage Mclaren
Cars are SO complicated these days. I remember that MINI you did ages ago. An 18mph bump and the stuff that needed replacing! --- I know this is your job and you're probably used to it but I can't help admiring your 'can do' approach. 👍🙂
Fantastic work gentlemen, complex pair, well done.
Superb work. I can’t believe how complicated that car is and having to do things like programme the steering rack to the vehicle. Wondering if they could have made it ‘plug-and-play’ but didn’t to discourage theft or make more money for main dealers when replacing bits.
Best content I've seen in a while a proper motor
Fantastic work as always guys .
I know you know the industry and your market well
But does it not make you nervous spending big money on these high end newer cars .
Yes i know you always have a decent profit in it or you wouldnt do them ,they are calculated risks .but its a very expensive car to sell privately and alot of cash flow to have tied up if it takes a while to sell due to the price point its not an everyday run of the mill car that alot of subscribers can afford
But definitely makes cracking content for us 👌
Been to reclamet a few times very good place, have thousands of parts. Definitely recommend
The A team of salvage rebuilders without doubt
Been using recamet for years. My neighbour works for them. I remembered 20 years ago going down, climbing into cars to get parts😂
It's like a 5000 piece jigsaw with all the bits you need to replace but it's good to see it on it's wheels again. Finding those bits locally was a stroke of luck and a massive help so yeah, keep 'em coming 🙂👍🏻
Hello Rob and Chris, great work done on the BMW M4 so far, alot of things to do but good to see rolling out of the workshop.lucky to see those parts to fix yours.
Pretty nice seeing a high end car with so much technology on it being fixed on this channel, do more of these, I'm sure it will be good for the channel and yourselves.
Great video Rob and Chris keep the video coming guys
Another fantastic video on the M4 competition, certainly one expensive car onwards with it guys.
Two guys in perfect harmony, rebuilding this beauty,No cursing as the bits go back how refreshing .This is going to be a nice little earner for the boys who can. London Paul.(keep The Faith)🇬🇧
Great episode. Quality work.
Wow that Volvo kit is a bit of a kick in the you know what
Brilliant job guys, couldn’t help but giggle when Chris said the horn works! 😂😂😂 you’ve been my favourite channel on you tube for a long time now and no one else is coming close to you, cheers!👍👍👍👍
Absolutely amazing video you guys, I’d love to see the complete rebuild 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Keep up the great work
I’m usually not a fan of black wheels but I think that wheel just sets off the M4, great video as always have a great weekend
Momentum was the force that broke that mount and damaged the steering rack. Inertia is the reluctance of something to move. You seem to have so many complex projects on the go, I can't understand how you know where everything goes when it comes to refitting...giant 3D jigsaw puzzles. Keep up the great work.
Go big or go home. You certainly have with this one!
What a job and complicated too. You guys are not phased by anything which shows in your work……great result in getting the parts. Love the timeline, just right Ty guys and have a great weekend
Hi Rob & Chris, it called a Bumper reinforcer or bumper crossmember in bodyshop land. It’s coming together nice and quick. Well done lads
Very productive week, very expensive week as well, great video 👍👍👍👍👍👍
One for you Rob ! Great video guys, love to see you both getting stuck in, you both complement one another, great to see Chris talking and explaining what he’s doing, you can see his confidence has grown from when you started. As people have commented this is going to be a cracking car when completed.
Thank you great Saturday afternoon watching, now watching again !
Great progress lads, but still see the sweat beading on Chris's brows everytime he thinks of the parts bill 😂
Well done guys .......money very well spent . Thanks
Not to complicated to work on just a lot to remember, that steering rack will need programming to the car !!
Yes bud we did mention that but you might not have got to that part yet 👍
That`s a nice build guy`s.. Looking forward to it being finished.. Great work as always. 😁👌👍👍
Rob and Chris Getting back to the Volvo there’s a chap I go to Lucas he’s name in Tilbury called Volvo diagnostic. All he does is Volvos he will be able to flash anything over download. Anything for any modules? Clea warning lights and upload the latest firmware
I was just about to say the same thing. His website quotes £120 to reset a MK2 V60 module with no additional coding required
Srs module was toast we tried to have it wiped but was a no go
Superb,Best UK Salvage Channel👍😉💪
nice to see the bmw coming on so well not good about the volvo tho
Great content yet again. Far better than a lot of car channels that have more subscribers. You deserve more guys. Obviously, people are watching but not subscribing. So I urge them to just press the button and get you where you belong at the top of the tree.👍👏
Very interesting vid! A tremendous amount of work, you must have a disciplined method of dis assembly to avoid time wasting errors rebuilding it!
I've got to stop pointing then carries on pointing, fantastic!!
Great work chaps, and what a car! Rob please ask the guy who programs the steering rack if you can add his details as I also need a rack programmed but can’t seem to find anyone to do it. Keep up the good work

Just an idea , and I don’t know if your camera will pick it up but, how about getting a laser pointer pen. Saves you pointing, and the viewers will understand what your highlighting. Cheers 👊🏻🙂👍🏻
Videos get better and better guys love it ❤
Loving this build!
I hope you give us some in car footage of you giving it a blast when its finished 😊
Stellar prices for bits not surprising. Though reclamet have a promising operation.
It still amazes me how you remember where all the nuts and bolts go back in the right place! Ouch on the £££s Volvo air bag price too! Looking forward to the follow ups as always.👍👍👍
Frankly sometimes in your videos i keep shakin my head when chris says.. Ahh it's just nuts n bolts ehh and you proceed to pull things apart i would never EVER manage to remember where went! That is the difference from a pro mechanic to an ordinary person. This car and parts is of course expensive but man you got an M4 competition with the top spec package. This WILL be a profitable adventure no matter.
Looking at the views on Part 1, these big ticket cars would be the key to some big growth on the channel. Keep up the good work
❤Love watching you guys as you give plenty of information on repairing different bits of a car. ❤
Love to see more van and pickup projects
Looking good lads can't wait for the next one
I'm now wondering what type of salvage project you prefer over the other. The little 2023 VW TAIGO you just recently showed, or this 2021 BMW M4?
You need to really know what you're doing, repairing any of those two. Which is the bigger project? I guess we'll see. 🙂
Really enjoy watching and learning on every video you guys do…👍🏻…
A question for you both, with all the cars you both fix, what car/ manufacturer is built the best..
Cheers chaps…
Hi rob and Chris can't wait till the car's finish, great job. Great find in the scrap yard, from marty in Belfast northern Ireland God bless
The beemer is gonna be great, nice job. Cheers.
The cost of bits today, but for a motor like that even more spiteful. On another channel I’m sure the sensors for the front bumper of a recent M5 were 5 grand! Your channel was my first ever subscribe on RUclips and it’s great to see how things have progressed for you two. I still love every video
Hats off to you lads 30k for a smashed that takes balls... defo worth a ride along when fixed to let us all see how it runs dream team👏👏👍
Excellent professional work as ever Expensive car requires Expensive parts great colour will be fantastic when finished 😊
Chaps - great job - really enjoyable quality video. I like the complete absence of viewer dislikes, speaks volumes cheers
Fabulous riding and cometary, thank you for sharing.
Tyre wise the Michelin will be absolutely superior in comparison. I’ve had PZero and Continental on the comp and the handling is like night and day. In my opinion. Sweet work though gents, I’ve not tuned in for ages.
Me too for the Michelins, I like Continental & Dunlop too but Michelin are best for me.
I worked at Reclamet breakers yard in the late 90s, had a great time stripping cars. Saw some absolute beauties pass through from Universal Salvage Auctions (now Copart). My dad set up and ran the tyre department until he passed away.
Must say Rob gets alot luck over the years finding the bits parts to repair the motors! & Chris loves it lol 😆👍
If he fell in cow muck, he'd come up smelling of roses 🌹
@jofh7633 lol your right if I fell in cow poo would come out smelling of poo 🤣
Despite the loadsa money spent on it, you should hopefully get it all back plus a decent payday when you come to sell it.
Love the vid, so nice to see a warts an all presentation of a problem. Lots of people reckon they can buy these cars and “do em up” with a few clicks on eBay, but you guys tell us how it really is.
Many thanks again for your vids, love the channel and can’t wait for the next one.
Excellent progress been made that is going to be a fantastic car when it’s completed well done Chris and Rob
Superb content again Chris and Rob, than you.
Was wondering how you guys know that a any potential project hasn’t got a twisted chassis frame? Really enjoying this one guys, love M cars, cheers.
Never been this excited for a part 2
If the boys kept every desirable car that they’ve salvaged over the last five years, they’d have 10 each by now! Their living is by repairing and selling these lovely cars at a profit, not building a personal collection!
No wonder it has a large mouth, it may well be a hell of a car, but my goodness, it does eat costly parts. Mind you, the Volvo is clearly jealous, with the bill for its parts steadily climbing. Still, you are, (hopefully) making good progress in getting this one off the books and into a customer's hands, I bet that cannot now come too soon. Enjoy the weekend, the credit card needs the break.
Grab the steering wheel both hands to turn it... 😢 thats what cars was like where I learnt to drive 40 yes ago It was the big posh cars with power steering in them days. 😮. Good luck on getting back on the road. 🚗
Great job with the first find of parts, I'd imagine the costs would be astronomical sourcing them individually. I hope the he rest of the build goes just as smooth. 👍
