Hey Nick, it would have to be a 389 to be date code correct as the 400 didn't come out till 67. Nice car and nice price , keep them rolling for those of us who can't afford Barrett jack sons overinflated marketplace.

I had a 67 Pontiac LeMans with a 326 and two speed Powerglide. I liked it alot.
1 the best looking cars pontiac made in my opinion.

Gas tires and oil.. GTO. I lov- em ! We need no stero when you have to hear the motor running. Id rather listen to that.

Honest evaluation of this GTO. Fair price IMO.
Honest evaluation for what he knows at the point of test drive.. But u cant say its a fair price in knowing what is incorrect. And then taking inconsiderstion you have not seen it in person..the ac unit is gone and the firewall was altered..most likley the entire heating unit was discarded. For and after market system..
Nice GTO Nick, had a 67 LeMans real nice..326 auto buckets red. Love to have it back.

I have a 67 triple black gto, it’s going on 30 years now that I have had it, back then I took it apart and that’s how it still sits, hopefully 1day I can have it done

A friend of mine bought one just like this one in Bremerton, Washington in 1984, for $1,500 !!!! We where in the Navy at the time. Up until that date, you could find great cars like these for that price if you shoped around. Those days are long gone now ! But this one here is a great find, for these days ! Wish I had the $$$$ 😁🖒✌
Love the show and love that you do test drives. Would like to see more trucks. And there was a blue Buick it was lowered and it had some kill patina. Anyways need to do some test drives on stuff like that

You have to be able to negotiate, if there are issues which cost $$, then there must be negotiations. Especially if we are traveling in from out of state with a trailer.

For that low price, I knew it had to be a slush box, 4 speed would have been another 8 grand.
I prefer the slush box...because you can improve it drastically.

Had one, great car, 389with a 4 barrel. Two speed automatic. One of the best cars I ever had. Dumb ass-me, sold it because it had no a.c.

Those were the cars that earned the good name. Pontiacs have always been my favorite!
I'm a Ford guy, but If I had to drive a GM, I'm pretty sure I'd drive a GTO over a Camaro of the same generation. Just something about that GTO body and front end that's more appealing than a Camaro.
