15:14 yea exactly! Even if you see your teammate directly trolling, get used with their so called "trolling", and make advantage to win the round. Focusing on them to not do the thing will just guarantee the round loss instead
wow i actually learned a lot from this coaching session cuz the person you were teaching had a very similar playstyle with similar issues to my own lol :D
I take Spike everytime with chamber and will plant my tp to the angle I want to hold on spike. Also if you have ult toss your main gun to a teammate to save someone a buy so you don’t potentially die with two guns. rely on your headhunter for close.

Ive been i3 for like 7 months since i started and just hit silver a day ago with your tips!
The slow aiming gives me so much anxiety. when they peak and slowly look to where the enemy can be while already being exposed, my heart can't take it
I’m a viper main and ALWAYS grab spike, I don’t trust random teammates enough to have them plant
regarding light shield - they are actually good when you notice that all opponents tend to just go for vandal and have their fullbuy money. because unless their aim is shit and hit you in the legs the 25 extra armor doesnt do anything for you. either get headshot and are dead anyway or you get 3 bullets for 120 (=still alive with light shield) or 4 bullets 160 (even dead with big shield)
usually you need like ~6-8 rounds to notice if they do it though.
the only other time i like it, is on the round after pistol, so a marshall thats usually purchased at that time, doesnt kill you instantly with a body hit, even if you lost the previous round. depends though if you play someone with a more expensive loadout and really need every 100 of not.

First advice is be aware of your tendency to have an excuse for everything. Maybe try to focus on what the coach has to say first, and then personally digest it if what you think you were doing in your head was correct or not. Watching replays would also help with comparing what you think you were doing versus what you were actually doing.

hey! im her duo! playing for an audience is something big streamers like jollz do every day but some people get nervous in front of a huge audience! It can be hard to take perform as well as u normally would when u have over a thousand people watching u and it can be frustrating when mistakes u dont normally make are being pointed out. i can assure u that she has fully absorbed the information from this coaching session and is improving more and more everyday, regardless of weather or not u think she was taking criticism well. she is about to hit plat and i have no doubt she'll go even farther!

@Jollztv At 15:50 you said "you did this wrong" and they instantly responded "no, I didn't", which made you uncomfortable and you backed out from giving an important feedback since the tp was not optimal throughout the game.
I want you to do well and go for world domination, so I'll make a suggestion to maybe help you offer more value to your coachees, cool? Try saying something like "I have no doubt you tp'ed after you killed Reyna but can I ask what your mindset was while holding the angle? If you were thinking 'as soon as I kill 1 I'll tp out' your reflex would be different than if you thought 'I'll shoot 2 shots and tp out, no matter the outcome'. What was your mindset?"
2nd option would have still granted the kill but had them ready to tp out instantly instead of waiting for the kill animation. That's what I feel happens when Chamber mains get a pick on me and insta disappear.

i think it’s a good suggestion, i feel like the chambers being kinda defensive cus i get they don’t want to look bad, but i guess it’s uncomfy when jollz is giving advice n they cut him off, cus i think a lot of the time he does try to be positive when giving criticism
At this moment i got very annoyed and rushed to the comments to see if anyone else noticed very good advice
Idk if that's a cultural thing, but why not just tell them that you noticed them getting defensive and that you think it has a negative impact on the coaching. Could even ask if you can do anything (e.g. stop recording / don't upload) to make them more comfortable. Also @Jollztv
@@ilzhefsd45 I think it's more of a good feedback practice. If Jollz says straight up "stop getting defensive and listen or you won't learn", there is a high chance of them creating an emotional barrier and zoning out for the rest of the coaching session.
I do agree there is a cultural component that might affect these reactions. Usually easier to be direct with most Europeans, but less with Latin/Asian, for example.
@@marciomattos1842 Yeah that's what I was thinking. I'm from europe and I'd never interpret it in the way you just did. For me it feels like you are desperately trying to make something offensive that just isn't. Funny how it can be so different.
It even seems kind of unprofessional to me to not make them aware of their defensive behaviour. For me that's just part of the job you have as a coach, because the ability to take constructive criticism is part of beeing able to learn and improve. If they shut down that might be bad for the moment, but it might as well be better for them in the long run to just hear it from someone they obviously respect.

you have to place the spike if youre a power ranger. theres just no way out
Wouldn't it be good to buy light shields for save round in the sense that you if you get a better gun on you an aggressive pick you know have a bit more health? I mainly mean if you end up having a bit of extra creds saved over for the next round so you can buy up.
It works if you get a kill and steal a gun, but I think if you die you just wasted 400 creds
for save rounds, the goal is to create a better economy for next round while trying to take away guns from enemies' hands.
Getting 1 kill while on a save round is already a job well done. Winning the round on a save is just a bonus. Having light armor doesn't drastically increase your chances of getting that 1 kill especially if you have pistols or shotguns only on the save round.
I think it is best to "tank" the save round fully so you can buy full armor with full utility on the next round, than to try and be wishful on the save round, leading to a half-assed buy on the next (missing out on some utility due to the light armor buy on the eco).
But of course if you can buy light armor on a save with a minimum 4500 for next round, go for it.

If you guys wanna play chamber don't ever pull out a marshall, please, its kinda griefing, also when this chamber bought vandal/armor instead of trips bad error there, make economy, be so confident with your headhunter skill that you can buy vandal for your 4/12/11 reyna, and still pull out some frags with HH, please dont buy marshall as chamber.
So I came from destiny aswell and it took me a while to shake that swapping habit.
Jollz I'm a silver 3 trying to get gold who do you recommend I start playing
reyna or some comfortable duelist for you to carry or play with some one else so you can trade each other out
If you're into taking the initiative and fairly confident with your aim, pick a duelist that you're comfortable with (jett is great, but sometimes your team don't wanna pick a flash initiator so you can go reyna if so).
If duelist roles are already taken, consider being comfortable with initiators. Sova's arrows can be pretty distracting to learn, so I suggest kayo since he is pretty easy to pick up. Skye, fade and breach are equally viable if you can get the hang of their utility
If you're playstyle is similar to mine which is slow and reactive ( i have 130 dmg/rd and 0.9 kd: you get the picture), then I suggest playing smokes. Sentinels are great, but it can be frustrating when the enemy team keeps on dodging your site, and being a sentinel on attack can be pretty wonky.
Smokes imo are more flexible and consistent in terms of impact, both on attack and in defense. I personally like omen, since his utility allows me to play more aggressively if I need to, but all other smokers are fine as well.
I would want to get coached but my pc is too bad lmao i only get an averave of 40 fps so i wouldnt be able too stream it or make a medal video

I find not buying trips n stuff on the first round important, lurkers are less likely on them because most players on pistol round are ballsy af knowing 1 ghost headshot takes them down.
im not radiant or anything...but i think light shields can be very helpful if you arent jollz lol

Sometimes I make pro league plays and I know exactly what to do, sometimes I can't even hit anyone and get instaheadshot when I peek. I got to silver but then demoted to bronze again. I like feedback and I'll need something. Most of my friends are all very low elo so we can't really help eachother

I was hardstuck bronze for a long time, and I remembered trying hard back then to do all these crazy, heroic plays just so I can bring myself up to silver.
I also remembered watching a lot of pro game analysis videos seriously.
I could say now that it wasn't really helpful. The plays I tried to do have very inconsistent results; works spectacularly sometimes, but borderline throwing sometimes too. The things pros do in tournaments don't apply in bronze, since randoms don't have the synergy of pro teams, and the plays pros do have specific intentions against the opposing team that just don't apply in bronze.
What brought me out of bronze was working on the fundamentals of movement and shooting, as well as improving my aim a bit. I focused on breaking the habit of crouching and spraying, not rushing my shots, crosshair placement, peeking properly, etc.
The harder part was building a better mentality. Tilting was a major issue that held me down to bronze for the longest time. I do still tilt, don't get me wrong, but I don't focus on how badly my teammates are playing as much as I did before (which helps a lot because bronze teammates almost never make the right decisions in game).
Before I knew it, I rose to silver 3 within one act, then just touched gold 1 this act for the first time.
