Consider the way of Solomon: To fully explore wisdom and folly. To enjoy luxuries, sex, drugs, music, adventures, projects and hobbies - to truly LIVE, while throughout all of it to hold on to logic and reason and maintain a relationship with God, to also enjoy his endless wonders and astonishments. To fully know why this and why that. To have no desire for it has all been done, and its emptiness is well known, and only ONE THING is able to satisfy....

@@siobhanfitz839 Yes, you get it. If the story is true then Solomon would have gotten the gift of understanding in the way that God wanted it, which means that it is just a matter of (mis)interpreting Solomon's words. Take care.
I think you might have this backwards. What if instead it's that all things are appropriate, but only in their time. Our task is then not always try to find what is appropriate for the season - often that's a given anyway. Rather our task is to find the time that is appropriate for what we want to bring into the world. Though, as King Solomon himself discovered, that time does not always come in our lifetimes.

Revelation 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. 1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. I really enjoyed this Bible study but I have to disagree with my old boy Solomon in one respect so far, and my disagreement is that there’s never a time for hate. Even if there’s a time for killing, hate has no place in our hearts and that’s why whenever it’s welcomed in it only leads to suffering for the one embracing it
Thank you so much, the message is a blessing. Please allow me to make a small input where Hebrew is concerned. The words "ben adam" - son of man - as they are always translated - are used as "a person", "a human being" generally. The Hebrew word "ish" - man - always denotes a male, not a human being or a person generally. This word "ish" also refers to a husband, as it states somewhere in the Scripture, that a time will come when women will stop using the word "ba'ali" (my husband) - because it takes its root from ba'al, which is a name of an idol, meaning "the owner" - and start calling their husbands "ishi" - which literally means "my man". So yes, when we say in Hebrew "ben adam", it's because all humans are descended from Adam, but also because it has become a general expression which means a person, irrespective of them being male or female. Ezekiel was called "son of man" - ben adam, and so was our Savior.
And no one should know the time or hour when jesus comes... but we should know the signs and seasons of is coming. I think that explains the time preaching very well... and how the bible says that the end times will be like a woman in birth pains... women cant stop her labor and delivering her baby... cause its simple time to deliver... its time for birth
good for you man you well understand what a lot of rabbinic preachers in the holly land seem to miss // yet you did have some minor mistake// the first man before he sinned didn't design to live forever, the angel of death comes only to exhilarate the natural prosses/ heaven light is shining on us while we living /
Thanks for thoroughly breaking this down. Great teaching! Just don't agree with your concept of only people excepting Christ going to heaven and everyone else to hell.
Hey James. I've questioned this over and over again. delved into most of the major religions and keep coming back to choice, free will. We all get to believe whatever we want. I found things in other religions and wanted to pick and choose, but I'm not sure that's the path either. All I know is, I find comfort in the Bible and it's stories and what I believe is God, has been there for me in some dark moments. Good luck on your journey.
So if only things happen by gods will, why bother trying anything ??? Or do we have gods power? Are we all part of god? Do we have any say? Can we use our subconscious to affect our lives ? Is that setting intentions ? Is setting intentions the same as casting spells ?
Yes to all of these. Keep studying though, it's easy to slide into narcissism and moral confusion with this perspective. A few directions for this particular path towards God: Qabalah, yoga, pranayama, the rosicrucian order, Damien Echols, The Order of the Golden Dawn
God has created man in his own image(Genesis). He also gives us free will. By reading the Holy Bible and prayers, the Holy spirit will give u understanding of the scriptures and purify your conscience to do what is right and to part from what is wrong
All knowledge descends from GOD, therefore all praise is due to GOD for it, Al HAMDULI'LAH, ALLAHU Akbar! May GOD'S MERCY reach you for elucidating on knowledge of GOD'S Prophet Sulayman(a.s.) (Solomon).
So do Muslims! Man(the descendant's of Adam) have been given their own will(ego) to follow(or they can choose to follow GOD'S will, or they can choose to follow shaytan's(satan's) will! GOD IS absolutely Most BENEFICENT and Most MERCIFUL, any good that comes to Man, comes from GOD! Any harm or bad that comes to Man, comes from unwittingly or deliberately following satan's will, or his own will!
THE MEANING OF LIFE IS TO LEARN EMPATHY/COMPASSION. The ONLY way to learn Empathy is by SUFFERING. That's why God gave Satan rule over the earth. To create the suffering that we need to learn Empathy. Oh, this is too simple. If that were true, we would have realized that a long time ago. So never mind. Keep looking...
When we have enough empathy, we will end our suffering by ourselves. Then we "graduate" from The School of Hard Knocks. Heaven is a place where our desires manifest, as in a Lucid Dream but much more real.
We are here to serve The Most High, to love Him with all our heart and might. To follow his laws statutes commandments and judgements. To love one another as ourselves. We are here for His pleasure. We are here to glorify His Name
I have to cut this short. Exactly how does one KNOW which "appropriate" act to follow in the "appropriate" time". I think everyone knows there is a right and wrong way to go about things. The problem being, how do you know what's the right thing to do in certain situations? You can easily ruin your life with one misstep. Just ask Solomon about that.
@@allennolan I'm sorry I shouldn't have said that, I enjoy listening to renditions on You Tube of old Sermons by Charles Spergeun and George Whitefield .
Adam did not 'sin' he learned of sin by gaining the knowledge that good exists. Good cannot be noticed if it isn't contrasted by the darkness of evil. He created sin by knowing of it. In fact there is contradiction in the story really. By instructing that you must not do something, God planted the concept of good and evil. What is no to adam without the idea of consequence? These allegorical mysteries are mishandled with speech such as yours. The frustrating state of faith.
@@allennolan why would those who know not of good or evil need to be obedient? Who put the forbidden fruit into the garden AND into the mind of Adam. It seems like God sinned first. He defiled his perfect humans with temptation, something he did not need to create. An evil deed if there ever was one. Of course this only applies to those taken literal reference from the story. How can anybody claim to take God seriously if all they did to understand was decide to have faith? Faith is neither a path to understanding or knowledge by it's very definition.
Because they wanted to be more wise that what they had .. That was the intention and the greed of becoming like getting to be like the creator who created them and because of this greed they did not listen to the words of "The Creator The Lord !'
Best if you just go read it you want learn it as good with this guy stopping and talking and tryin to explain smh brother people are not dumb just read it
I understand and agree with the "teachings" here, but I really have a hard time understanding why this is so religious. From this video i think most of us can agree that the moral is that you will have a form of control over your life if you do the right thing at the right time. Why do you people need to belive it comes from "a god" when it has been within you all the time. If you cant reach god to get your awnser at the precise time or at all time, isnt it better concentrate in yourself excluding any form of faith into something external to yourself? What is the point of putting cookies on the fireplace for santa if hes never gonna show up...
Romans 1 : 18-21 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
What other ways are there for us to know if not by written records(e.g. Books)? In the Qur'an Sulayman(Solomon) is mentioned several times, and is described as being Righteous and upright Prophet, King, and Judge who was given the Wisdom and Criterion: a keen sensibility and knowledge to discern right from wrong, and was appointed: abdul-As SHARIF(pronounced abdul As-SHAREEF)... @cali budz Calvinism is the one related to John Calvin ... Lol.
930 BC is over 3000 years ago?
And no one should know the time or hour when jesus comes... but we should know the signs and seasons of is coming. I think that explains the time preaching very well... and how the bible says that the end times will be like a woman in birth pains... women cant stop her labor and delivering her baby... cause its simple time to deliver... its time for birth
good for you man you well understand what a lot of rabbinic preachers in the holly land seem to miss // yet you did have some minor mistake// the first man before he sinned didn't design to live forever, the angel of death comes only to exhilarate the natural prosses/ heaven light is shining on us while we living /
Amennnn

O my people, i am born again in spirit.but the people dosnt know me.
Life is chaotic.
We get what we don't deserve.
We don't get what we deserve.
It's just pointless.
God is God. Man is Man. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Without him we are NOTHING.

Straw man, Calvinists do not believe that God causes sin.
@@allennolan actually they don’t. John Calvin did not even believe that.
Yes, explained in the book of Job
I have to cut this short.
Exactly how does one KNOW which "appropriate" act to follow in the "appropriate" time".
I think everyone knows there is a right and wrong way to go about things.
The problem being, how do you know what's the right thing to do in certain situations?
You can easily ruin your life with one misstep. Just ask Solomon about that.
it was written by Solomon? where is the evidence for that?

Misrepresenting Calvanism by minute 5 and I stopped watching.
I don't like this preacher but I'm sure many people do .
@@allennolan I'm sorry I shouldn't have said that, I enjoy listening to renditions on You Tube of old Sermons by Charles Spergeun and George Whitefield .
it always blows my mind that people actually take the Bible literally.
@@allennolan beautiful :)
Best if you just go read it you want learn it as good with this guy stopping and talking and tryin to explain smh brother people are not dumb just read it
Nothing is true for everyone.
Romans 1 : 18-21
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Solomon life no one knows just following by books.
One granted the authority and power to arrest, enslave, and incarcerate rebellious beings and spirits/jinns (demons)..!

Over simplified for comedic attraction..
Poor understanding of Calvin’s points.
That's a facetious explanation of Calvanism... God knowing all of history and the future so that all things have already happened in God's mind because he is outside time is totally different than God "causing" someone to get raped. Very simple minded approach to deep topics.
@cali budz Calvinism is the one related to John Calvin ... Lol. Luther's 95 theses I believe is considered sort of the birth of Protestantism and questioning the Catholic church's practices and authority. I'm obviously no expert, but I know enough to know that the explanation given wasn't accurate and while I may not agree with everything Calvin taught, I think it's better for people to at least know the truth about it so they can decide for themselves.
Didn't he work with demons
The most depressing book on reality..
Yep, many people share that sentiment I’m sure. In some kind of way though when you accept what’s written in that book it’s liberating and takes some of the load off.
Ugggh, another anti-Calvinist. I had to stop listening. I’m not a Calvinist but I’m so tired of the anti-Calvinists expressing their vitriol towards Calvinists. Could have been a good message but I prefer pastors / teachers that love their brothers in Christ.
@@allennolan You paint a straw man argument for Calvinism then claim victory over it. You're not doing yourself any favors with that sort of message.
Exactly
ayth
From H5703; time, especially (adverbially with preposition) now, when, etc.: - + after, [al-] ways, X certain, + continually, + evening, long, (due) season, so [long] as, [even-, evening-, noon-] tide, ([meal-], what) time, when.
Total KJV occurrences: 296
Ayth: The definition you posted really brought clarification? And what do you mean by, total KJV (King James Version?)... If so what's wrong with that?
@@MrTasjazz he’s saying that the word “ayth” occurs 296 times in the kjv. There are other versions of the bibles. Some have had maaaaany verses omitted. Be vigilant

Not so different from Gautama the Buddha. We have many sages and gurus that shares wisdom.
