I nodded throughout this whole video. This is a wonderful and way to look at things and I really resonated so much with it. I have been changing my core planning so that it is seasonally. Jamie Ridler introduced me to it years ago but it didn’t fully click until this year. I would love a class on this. We can learn so much by paying attention, being mindful, and your message was just what I needed to hear. Thank you for taking the time to do this and for sharing it with us.

I am so happy to hear that much of what I was saying resonated with you Burgess! Love your mention about being mindful. That is a huge piece that I am constantly working on myself. The class fairies are on it (: Stay tuned!

Happy to hear that you enjoy the videos as always Alison! So happy you liked the sound of the seasonal planning. I feel our changing needs and energy levels is something that is often left out of planner discussions. ❤❤

audio good for me, love the topic, of course love the quarterly idea and the mindset of seasonal times feels very rhythmic, kind of how life can be, also releases the planner guilt. Love how you related that communicated that point until the synapsis started firing in my own head and went oh ya I see it in my cycles, thanks Leanne

I've come to realise that when my desire to change my planner surfaces it usually has nothing to do with the planner and everything to do with how I am feeling. I make my own planners and over the last couple of years changed them up because I thought it would be the answer to my loss of enthusiasm but of course it didn't help so now I've returned to my old format and have started working on myself 😄
Thanks for another inspirational and informative video 💕

I'm so happy you enjoyed the video Sam!! I love that you make your own planners, that is so cool! Doing that work on ourselves definitely isn't the easy part lol. Good for you for doing some self reflection to get to the root of your planner issue, That's awesome! ❤

Good tips! I like these. I think also just starting to take it with you wherever you go if that's something you haven't been doing. I know I've liked it when I've been busy or distracted or less organized, if I always have it with me-especially while out!-I will tend to use it more and refer to it more. Then it becomes a handy tool, I can stick in it receipts or a business card or appointment card I pick up somewhere, I can jot something down quick, whether it's just an idea for something or something I notice or something I grateful for or a reminder or even doodle in it while waiting somewhere. I just think that it being present all the time helps. And another practical tip, if you're not doing this already, is always keep a pen with it, if it helps, have it be a pen you like, in a color you like. But just that practicality will help too. Just simple things to make it that much easier to use.

Thank you so much for sharing your tips!! These are absolutely things that I do as well, but failed to mention in the video. Always having it with you is a game changer for sure!

I loved your take on planning seasonally. I would love to take part in a class or series on this subject. I think it would be helpful for so many people who use their planner for more than a checklist. You touched on some great points. There are months that I do really struggle to get through. I think a good topic to cover would be my number one issue of not only me but for my friends too and that is that it can be a huge part of the day that is negative self talk. And ironically it's not about the color or art or collages. It's about, look at that week I was so lazy, if I would have been smarter I would have put that task on this day, this whole month wasn't even productive, I don't know why I'm keeping a planner I'm not doing anything that is worth writing down.
I think that women can get caught up in this self talk and I get stuck on how to turn it around. I'm thinking that other subscribers might be going through this also.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and struggles Tanya! I definitely agree, negative self talk around our lives via the planner topic is an issue for many of us. I will definitely write that down for things to touch upon if/when I decide to do more content on the subject. ❤❤❤

Thanks Leanne! This was super helpful especially after I ignored my planner when our vacation was cancelled last minute because I hadn’t planned on using it so I basically shunned it for a week. Haha! Also, I’d love to hear about living seasonally - but for your spiritual path! On Patreon or your other channel. :)

😆 I can definitely relate to that. So glad you found the planner chat helpful. What a great topic suggestion! I shall write that one down. Thank you! ❤

I'm digging the seasonal idea too. I've already got a planning system that works for me in general. But I tend to just have one list of everything I need to do, and I could probably do better organizing things as far as what's little things I need to do soon versus organizing bigger projects that will take awhile, months even, but will be great to get done, and organizing the steps to get there and sort of seeing how that falls over a few month period. I do like doing bigger projects that will take a few months and get a lot of satisfaction out of checking things off a to do list. I'm gonna let this thought marinate. :D Like sort of an approach of-what do I want to have done 3 months from now-and sort of breaking down the steps to get there.

So sorry you had issues with the audio Carolyn. Thank you for letting me know! I did use my older microphone for the voiceover so the audio may have been a little different than some of my other recent videos.
