I think technically an opposed piston engine has 2 crankshafts, one on either side, and the pistons come together at the center where the head would normally be. Not to be knit picky or anything. Very nice work.

Hi, amazing. Just one thing, the oil vent lines must be connected to the air filter. Putting them after the carb will make the engine impossible to tune since it’s sucking air from the casing. It has to be totally sealed from the carb to the intake. let me know how it goes

Your intake isn't atomizing fuel ... consider what volkswagon did and having a small diameter pipe from one cylinder to the other of exhaust ... providing heat to atomize the air:fuel mix
But there is a problem that causes a delay in starting the engine. The problem is the oil evaporation tube coming out of the valve cover. It must be connected before the carburetor to the air filter.and good job my bro.

Little suggestion, the breathers (2 tubes coming out of rocker covers) should be plugged into the intake at the very start, there should be a fitting on the carb for a vent somewhere. Connecting the tubes at the very end of the intake after the carb will cause mixture problems. Should run happier with tubes at start of intake.
@@ambersmith6517 through the inside of the block. Those tubes are the crank case vent tubes. When the piston moves down, gas vents from those tubes. Without them pressure will build in the crankcase.

I made an inline-3 engine from 3 of the same crappy small, weak 2-stroke engine, with the main shafts joined together inline, and only the middle one has a working gearbox, the right one has the coils and magnet for battery charging, and all three engines have an adjustable ignition point for its own spark, and its own carburetor with 3 throttle cables joined together. This way I got a loud and powerful engine, but it is a pain in the back to kick start.
Opposed piston usually refers to two piston’s in the same cylinder moving toward and away from each other. There is no cylinder head, the combustion taking place in the compressed space between the piston crowns, two stroke.

Cool build but I think it's only firing on one cylinder, the one closest to the flywheel. The way you have the coils mounted and the crank journals offset 180 degrees means the rear cylinder is firing on bottom dead center. You need a single coil with two outputs. Because the cylinders are on TDC at the same time. If the crank journals were not opposite, then this would work. Wonder if you could find a dual output coil to fit this.

This is more of a boxer type engine, thats where the pistons go outward in direct opposite direction.
