Dear Dheeraj, thanks for your detailed review of Kamvas Pro 19 4K....I am pleased to inform you that you are the First Creative Professional in the World who has posted review of this model !!!! I am sure this will be of Great Help to Professionals who wants to explore 4K in Budget Price !!!!!
Thank you sir. Yes it’s one of the best from Huion India. I recommend it for emerging artists and professionals.
Very helpful! Thank you. I learned more than just specs - you demonstrated things very well at a good speed, and shared some helpful thoughts/insights.
Best review for this pen display, thank you! :)
Excellent review! You sold me on this product, right after watching your video I went and ordered one for myself. ^^
This Will become my new tablet. Is like the same range and tech from Wacom Pro 17 model but with More space!!! Amazing Huion!!
Fr. Also design is pretty nice and it has enough to last a few yrs
Only upgraded I can think of that ppl may want: oled screen, 120 Hz or 16k pen pressure
@@htsunmiku 120hz and oled screen, 16k pen pressure is really not noticeable, in fact anything above 4k is barely different
@@mirassama4604 yep you are right.
Also I just found out these already have 16k pen pressure with the new pen.
Also imo, oled and 160 is better if you want to check colour or animation etc. most artists have a secondary screen, so the drawing tablet doesn't necessarily need it.
Great review, man. Clip Studio is absolutely the best (for drawing especially line art) and will sure deliver the best pencil performance with that pencil.
I'm new here, your video popup in my youtube, i click it, and your lemon is hillariously so funny 😂 i like it! ❤
🤣
I'm excited for this - Cintiq 22 has been too big for me, but 16 inch displays have been too small. This seems like it could be perfect.
Don't forgent it's not 19" but 18". I don't know if it's that exciting if 16 was too small for you. Maybe better waiting that the company comes with a 20> 22"?
Huion is coming for Wacoms crown, I can feel it 😲
I looked it up and found that the upgrade in pen performance in particular is amazing. The device supports IAF 2g and maximum pressure 500g. And it supports srgb 99%, dci-p3 98%, and delta E
Thanks for sharing
you better give the stand back to him 😂
I'm struggling to get the actual stylus to work on mine. the box doesn't really give many instructions on how to do that.
Not sure what to do yet. I'm planning on learning blender (and/or Zbrush) to make my own 3d printed sculptures, and drawing/doodling in photoshop.
In general i prefer medium/big sized screens so the 13 models from Huion are too small, the 16 series being the absolute smallest i want to go for.
I'm kinda hung up on 1080, 1440 or 4k. Price being the issue here of course.
Should i even care about resolution at all being a beginner at 3d sculpting and go for a bigger 1080p screen, maybe buy a 4k resolution screen after a couple of years with more experience?
A bigger 2.5k screen as a middle ground (Kamvas RDS-220)? Or just save up and go for a 4k screen like the 19 pro as that is the best for modeling?
I understand the confusion.
If you have just started learning, you can go for the RDS 220, it’s a very good display for the price.
If you are already in the business of 3D printing and sculpting, go for the new pro19 4K which also gives you touch screen capabilities (windows only). Zooming in and out to look for small details becomes easier with that. The biggest plus is the 4K display which makes the 19pro relevant for future as well.
I have the 2021 kamvas 16, and I love it, paired with the pentech 3.0. But the Kamvas 19 looks right up my alley for features, like the touch screen and resolution. But the price is a bit too high for a huion product.
If I had a 16 pro, I wouldn’t switch to a 19. May be a 24.
Looks amazing, I really thought Huion IAF became much worse in the past generation of pentech compared to 2.0 so it's good they addressed that, but I think they went too high with the price, 899 would be perfect for this and 1500 for the bigger one imo at this price it's too close to wacom specially older models...
May I know what you think about the all new "Canvas Glass" supposedly having finer etching than their previous etched-glass models. And the "anti-sparkle" thing, because what's keeping me away from buying new pen displays is the rainbow grain or "sparkle" that distracts me when coloring. I need to ask you if there's any sparkle present while working with the pen display.
Very helpful, thanks!
Please try connecting it to Samsung device and show the performance with Samsung Dex. Does the touch function work in Samsung Dex?
Thank you!!
Just in case anybody was wondering, it only works for windows not Mac
Very good assessment
Hi dheeraj , it's not possible to buy this product in India can you help me with this
Definitely yes, please drop a message on Instagram. Account : huionindia
THIS LOOKS LIKE MY DREAM PEN DISPLAY expect that it's a dream, the reality is that I'm a broke student
Does it have a fan for cooling that makes a high pitch noise ? Or is it passive cooling ?
Passive cooling. No fan noise heard during the testing of the display.
Excelent and first review of this product but where is the mini keys express?
No shortcut buttons on the display. I’ll be reviewing a dedicated shortcut remote for this very soon.
Dude I regret my 16 inch Wacom pro so much cuz it’s 15 in in reality and then Huion releases a 19inch??? Fuckuuuu
Nice review. Good quality video! Insta sub! I cant wait to test this device.
Awesome! Thank you!
Thanks for the video!
How does the pressure feel compared to a Wacom?
Do you feel the improvement from the 1g lower activation point? Does it still happen that some clicks are not recognized, as was the case in the older models?
I can’t tell how is this pen performing against the Wacom pro pen 2 as I haven’t used the pro pen recently.
It is much better than the pervious pen tech 3.0 because I have that one in my studio. Specially the extra programmable button, that one is my favourite.
@claybrush where to get it?it’s not available in Amazon or website
You can drop a DM on instagram to clay_brush or huionindia.
What scaling are you using? It looks like it would be a good fit for 200% scaling.
Hey! Sorry for late comment, but i curious about how that feels when you drawing by this stylus?
I mean, Pen Tech 3.0 Was feeling like very rough\hard pencil, no wobble\spring effect, that cause me feeling no pressure, so my lines was ugly
That one feels like PW 507(Kamvas 20 pro)\ PW100(H1060p) or still hard like PW 517?(Kamvas 22 Plus)
Hi, good question.
The nib is stiffer in Kamvas pro 19, it's called nib retraction, which is less for more stable drawing experience like a real pencil. The pressure sensitive has increased from 8192 to 16000 levels which makes a huge difference here and helps in making better strokes.
@@claybrush oh thats worse for me, it cause pain in hand, sad enough, but thank you for response!
You switched to windows just for the review due to the multitouch?
Yes, thank you for noticing. A macbook pro M1 14 is my daily workhorse
Wish it was as bright as the Cintiq Pro 27, only 220 nits vs 400.
It is still bright enough, the shots you see in the video are at 50% default brightness.
I'm with you. Can't do anything lower than 500 nits.
Hi Dheeraj you have been working on various pen display for many years, would you like to share your opinion which is sweet spot for display? between 16 to 24? For long time I have worked on iPadPro and now plan to move to large display, my only concern is 24 4K does not have touch functionality, since I am heavily relied on hand gesture, and I feel 19 would be small ? Could you please guide me?
Hi, I understand your concern regarding the correct size of the display. I use both ipad pro 12.9 and kamvas pro 19 along with a kamvas 22 plus. I feel kamvas pro 19 is the sweet spot for a comfortable drawing experience. I would have recommended a RDS 220 only if it had a touch support.
Kamvas pro 24 will definitely be the best of all by all means, but it needs a bigger space on the desk and is expensive. For me , it's the pro19.
@@claybrush Thank You Dheeraj for your insight, 24 indeed a quit big in a size, 19 Pro seems to be bundled with all the latest features and has a touch, I think I can start with 19 Pro, Thank you so much again!
Do 2 finger undo and 3 finger redo works on this ?
yes it does. 👍🏽 For apps like clip studio paint, it works. If the app has the feature of ‘double tap undo’ it’ll work on the tablet.
@@claybrush how abt Mac ? Or only works on windows ? I use csp
Touch only works on windows as of now.
I use mac as well with CSP. Keyboard is the way out.
Can connect and power using just a single USB c?
Like the smaller tablet, no need separate power delivery
It takes two usb -C cables to work. One goes into the power adapter and the other goes into the PC/mac port.
Very helpful review! If you need to use the 3-in-one cable, do you also need to connect the 2nd usb-c cable as well?
Hi! Question- at the 2:00 minute mark, you open up a menu with your pen. What menu is this? Is that specific to the new pen?
I use a Mac and have been looking to get a menu like that for shortcuts on screen
Hi, I used the Huion pen to access this menu, the one with an extra button. This menu can be programmed with different shortcuts in Huion driver.
@@claybrush wow thanks! I had no idea I could add this kind of menu!
Thanks for sharing your views with us. One question please, it is mentioned that the screen is calibrated to printing colours, what are your views on this please? thanks again
Yes, the display has three modes, one of them is CMYK. Which is for the time when you are working on something to be published physically. I haven’t take a print to teat that out yet, I’ll add this in the following video.
Thanks for the genuine question 👍🏽
Thanks for your reply :) @@claybrush
If you have already some printed material you can also compare the digital artwork loaded on the Huion with the printed version. This can save you time and money ;)
What's better kamvas pro 24 or kamvas pro 19?
i just bought 24 4k model and i want change it with 19 inch model for rainbow effect and dont have touch screen do you suggest to change 24 fo 19 inch?
24 to a 19 can be done only if you feel 24 was too large in the first place. If you are already comfortable with a 24 inch display, downsizing to a 19 can be a little difficult. A larger display always has their own benefits.
There is one 27inch pro tablet, Huion has launched alongside with this 19 inch.
@@claybrush im comfortabe with 24 and dont have any problem with that but it has:
-rainbow effect on matt screen idk if you saw that on 24 4k
-dont have touch
+i want 19 for better screen protecter and no rainbow and grainy effect
+it has touch it seems works good with touch
+good color accuracy (idk it has diffrent to 24 inch model )
+has 2 pen with new pressure system and more accuracy
but its 5 inch smaller and have this pros with same price
@@claybrush I dont want to spend more money i can change 24 with 19 and pay 50-100 dollors
Thanks a lot for the review. Would you get this instead of the kanvas plus? I'm really interested in the best drawing experience. Have been looking for the pressure range that it supports but wasn't able to find it. Would be nice if it has at least =400g. Do you have any information on this?
I’d go for this one just for the 4K display. 22+ is still in my studio and the thought of going back to just full HD is painful.
22+ is still the best for the price it is coming with.
2----500
awesome
Maybe its too in depth but whats the Initial activation force of the Pentech 4.0 coompared to wacom pro pen 2. Thats the only thing keeping me away from Huion as the 3.0 was way to high for me to use
Pentech 4.0 is 2g, while Pro Pen 2 is
@@AvaRosss I see, thanks!
Ok I got mine. How do you tell art apps, especially Concepts, how to hide the cursor upon contact at the start of a stroke? I can’t see what I’m drawing in Concepts because there’s a tiny crosshair cursor in the way.
Cursor settings can be changed in the app/software only.
Thanks. I heard/read that the new PenTech 4.0 is a different system, fully digital like the iPads whereas earlier (and pretty much all others like Wacom and XP Pen) use the analogue RF that gets digitized by the screen (so a kind of multi-stage process which eventually produces the jittering effect of lines). Can you say if this is true or not (or accurate) and how your experience has been?
Check Brad Calbow’s new video on the new Huion Android tablet that seems to be using a non-Wacom’s EMR technology Huion made Pen.
I found a used (6months old) cintiq pro 16 2021 cheaper than this kamvas brand new. Which one should i get?
both are good choices unless there is some major fault with the device
Hi, I'm interested in how the glass texture is compared to the previous genaration etched glass, is it more or less matte?
It is definitely better than the previous gen. Less glossy but as good as the last one for drawing traction.
Can u pls suggest which tablet is good 16 or 19
It's a very open ended question. 16 and 19 both are in the category of desk tablets. I'll go for a 19 just for the extra real estate. If you have the budget and the desk space, consider a 19.
This looks really nice 🤩 , do you have any idea when this product is gong to be launched??
It is available in India. Please DM huionindia or clay_brush on Instagram for more information and discount deals.
@@claybrush I've dm both of you , kindly check your dm 😀
How's the cursor accuracy? It's mentioned on the webpage that there's an improvement. Is it noticeable?
Yes, better than the 22+ tablet. Compared side by side.
Does single finger touch work on mac osx? Their website says there is no multi-touch for mac. Can you zoom or scroll on mac using gestures?
No touch interface for macOS as of now.
@@claybrush Exciting news!.. on channel Huion has uploaded Tutorial (How to set up Kamvas pro 19 Touch function on macOS)
Can you turn of the touch features?
yes, with a physical button right besides the power button.
📍
Do the 4.0 pens work on older screens? I literally bought the 24 4k a month ago and that 3rd button screams at me lol.
That’s something I need to check. There will be a following video answering all the questions I’m getting on this video. Thanks for the question.
不,4.0 笔是数字笔,在它是模拟笔之前
Hey Sir Can you make a tutorial for animating on CSP and Very Informative video
Definitely yes. It’s coming in a few days on the channel 😊
Hello, does the screen heat up a lot after a certain time of use?
Not really, also it’s winter season here, did not feel even a warmth on the display.
Could be slightly warm during summers.
Heat management on this one is well done with open ducts at the back.
Also, the short legs of the display sit on these ducts, so no matter of you are using the adjustable stand or not, you need to keep the short stand in open position for the heat to go out.
Can you name the stand you are using in the video please?
It an adjustable stand ST100 from Huion only. Link: store.huion.com/products/adjustable-stand-st100
Is the multi-touch available for Mac yet? Or any word when it's available?
I don’t think touch interface will be available on macOS. That’s why the iPad exists.
They serve different purposes, but I understand what you meant. Just looking for a larger tablet that interfaces more natively with macOS. Appreciate it!@@claybrush
Does touch work with Mac?
No sir, only with windows.
Can it be used as a primary display?
Yes 👍🏽
whats the price
Seeing this, now I really wish they went with 120Hz or at least 75 instead of adding half-baked touch support (which probably adds more to the price).
Fluid multitouch on desktop PC is very possible but none of the drawing display manufacturers (Wacom included) got to that point yet. Which is sad because multitouch screens that do have fluid touch have horrible stylus support while drawing displays with good to great pen performance have horrible touch experience. Both sides unnecessarily increasing the price the consumer pays for a feature they end up either turning off or ignore. 😓
I insist that you go for a demo. The touch screen is genuinely nice and usable.
I can tell you that 60hz is absolutely fine for just drawing. You can tell the different around 5-15% max.
whats the cost?
Please check the official website for the cost. I’ll drop a link here…www.huion.com/
next time put timestamps pls
Expected price?
Not sure about the exact price here, I’ll share that in the following video.
19" is too small and the 27" is somehow $2000
It's not even 19. It's 18". ^^;
Please please please get rid of that most annoying lemon 🍋
I tried.
🤣Huion doesn't even have service center in India and wants to charge close to Wacom prices! Only 1 year warranty and on 13th month display will have issues just like ASUS😂Better get Wacom 16 Pro for same price.
price is not the same.
