I love love love affirmations. I learned them from Louise Hay. And she has such a strong and compassionate attitude. With the affirmations I also learn where there is resistance, because often a really good affirmation does not feel right. And so I can see believes I still carry around and lovingly integrate that part. ❤️♥️💖❤️♥️💖

Speaking affirmations and speaking in faith has been a challenge for exactly what you guys are saying, it feels fake, I'm lying, etc but I know that if I could just stay with it changes would take hold

Thank you for this! This is actually the section of the workbook I’m currently on. I’m just wondering when consistency is brought up, if it has to be every single day or else it won’t stick or if you can set certain days to do things consistently. I‘ve been doing affirmations for a few weeks now, but it feels like a chore and I don’t believe them for a second. I want to integrate a small act towards my goal, but the thought of having to do it every single day and not have one day off is giving me so much anxiety and it feels very pressuring. But I’m scared that it’s what’s required to do if you want to change, so a certain number of days instead of every day won’t be good enough. I know it sounds silly, but I really don’t know how to do it right.
I have the German version of your workbook. Listening I realized - the table about the four pillars is slightly different. For example I "cold therapy" and "co-regulating with another being" are missing in the german version. Is there a reason, why the translation differs from the original version?
