its not dream's fault, tommy started conflict and war, dream just wanted peace. he was painted as a villian because he "wanted control" but everyone made their one nations/groups for control and they said he "manipulated". they put him in jail and tortured him by beating him up everyday with not many food for months. they made him go insane. its not his fault, he just needs help and someone who actually understands him
Not trying to be rude, but Dream pretty much was the bad guy even before he got put in prison. He confirmed that he framed Tommy with the community house and he basically did a lot of bad stuff to Tommy in exile. Now, yeah, he did get worse in the prison, but he didn't get anymore insane than he already was. He just has got- this huge ego now, thinking he's a god because he can revive people. He also said that Tommy was just to fun when they blew up L'manburg. Besides, Tommy didn't even start the conflict, it was Sapnap if you look more into it. Again, not trying to sound rude ofc!
I think that both are to blame, because Tommy started the conflict but it was not Correct the way dream did, and his stability wasn't the best so both of you are to blame, plus they didn't scold Tommy just for being a minor, but it was not correct for Dream to manipulate him and less damage his emotional and mental stability, but torture is not right no matter the crimes.
