3:34 Man that suede jacket look is 100% on point and the definition of grown swag. The the choice of colors, the coordination of the textures, incorporation of a waistcoat, fit, styling details, hat being tipped to the side, the pose. #goals
His humbleness is shown by the fact that he openly says the trench coat is from a second hand store and did not brag on buying it for $1000 or something like that.
I'm very glad you wear hats, they're are a very underrated and practical garment that many people don't have the courage to wear. I love to wear them as well, but it takes a while to get used to it, and I'm very careful to wear it with outfits that are sufficiently formal while at the same time trying to make my look a bit more modern to kind of balance out the quite old-fashioned look of the hat. It gives me comfort to see that you can wear a hat as well and pull it off very nicely.
Agree that it takes a while to get comfortable seeing yourself in a hat if you're not used to it. It's an accessory that can completely change the entire look, feel, and of course, silhouette of an outfit.
I've been watching mens style shows for a little while now but only just started watching your channel lately and I've gotta say your advice is verry classy advice and I think your on point all the way cheers for your advise
You're totally right about Explorer...one of my favorite pieces from Rolex. That suede jacket is fantastic! The whole outfit has a subtle western feel but just enough to keep the look appropriate for the East coast as well. And dead lifts are king Amazing as always, Brian!
Yup. Would have seen it if I owned one. I prefer to show what I personally have in my closet rather than pulling pieces just for editorial purposes. That's not as authentic, IMO.
just for future ref, Donegal is pronounce like , DUN-E-Gawl, great video as always, loved the bomber too, I prefer a classic biker style leather jacket myself, as it's more my personal style, I like dressing that "Rock'n'Roll" look up for formally, the trench is def my fave look. and what a find for only 300 bucks
The Shirt Jacket to me is a much underrated item piece for a variable sharp casual style. I’ve seen some outfits where it’s just a matching Fabric Shirt Jacket and Trouser. You can wear any variable style shirt. Underrated is the shirt jacket!
Incredible video and exactly what I needed because I am looking to upgrade my fall/winter wardrobe soon. What I kinda missed was a look with a heavy wool sports jacket with a flashy pattern like a houndstooth, combined with very simple layers like a turtleneck or white jeans. Thank you very much for your work, I always appreciate it!
Thanks, as always, for the comment. Was trying to keep the jackets on the lighter side. Your choices are awesome but I would put them more in towards later fall and winter transition.
impressive watches! liked the burgundy boots as well. I will add the suede jacket and a bomber this year. I added a full trench also a used vintage piece, what drew me to that piece was the green color.
Great video. I'm looking to purchase a new coat, and was wonderingDo you think a suede bomber jacket would be warm enough for an NYC trip during the winter with enough layering? or should I invest in a heavier coat and wait until the springtime to get the suede bomber?
honestly, I am impressed! subscribed! you are one step beyond. I like how you use the vest!! Very well grounded but sporty. II would just like to propose one new thing: do not use strong contrast, like white shirt with black jacket or blue, I know it is a classic but I rather like contrast on women, men do not need to exalt part of the body or siluette. I know white is a classic but I would also dare the light blue shirt. What do you think?
Snowflake does not get its due! Great watch that can be worn with a suit or in a casual setting (unlike the submariner that just does not look good with a suit regardless of how many pinterest photos you can find). Amazing outfits per usual Brian. Theory jacket is a great upgrade!
All of your outfits look great but I have a question. Where do you carry your billfold, cash & phone? As you know iPhones are getting bigger and heavier.
Thanks, Joe! You can leave them here--I try to get back to as many people as I possibly can--or you can go to the advice section of the HSS website and click the button there to submit.
@@hespokestyle I will be buying a "custom" sport coat. Curious your thoughts on peak lapels vs notch lapels and working button holes on the sleeve as well as ticket pockets. Can you do too much? I am a bigger guy, 6'1" 275 lbs. Thanks so much for your time.
I like your Fall jackets alternatives. Perfect! I wear a lot, a denim jacket (actually two in different shades), light bomber jackets and light safari or military jackets (in chaki and army green). Appart from unstractured (in Greece we still have Spring weather) sportjackets of course!
Great video, I have a few video suggestions, outfits that go well with fedoras, how to style boots, casual and dressy fall outfits and maybe fall accessories. Thanks again for the great videos. :)
He Spoke Style Hi Brian - I am thinking about this one or Patek 5227J or maybe JLC master ultra thin date in rose gold. The VC is to me a a little easier to wear with business casual. Why did you choose the VC ?
@ 2:00 hahaha oh man i Feel you on that one😂 Im having to look for new pants after a few months because of deadlifts and squats👍 Props for leg day man👊
#early!! great looks, i like all of them. - i think the shacket works better as an outer piece than a shirt haha. i like it, the tweed sport coat and the bomber (but i'd prefer it in brown or dark grey instead cos i am not a huge fan of black) - not so much of a fan of the trench and the suede jacket, but nonetheless the outfits looked great. - also, if i may humbly suggest - i think you should buff and lightly polish your leather shoes and clean up the white sneaks :p Cheers man, enjoyed this video!
I think the picks are on point for me, minus the tweed sport coat. I don't wear those. Also you dress them a little too mature for me, but the overall picks are solid
i am *shocked* that the brown suede jacket is not a valstarino 😂 that theory bomber is also killer. do you have any specific recommendations for a wool (blend) bomber?
It's very different than the Valstarino. Not quite as short. I believe Theory also has a wool version of this. A while back I had one from Armani Exchange that was also nice.
Hey Brian great looks again! #3 rings most with me, it's the type of look I try to go for! By the way I'm trying to remember you in a cardigan, but perhaps my memory is failing me. Cardigans/wool jackets are my favs for autumn, I like the softer, more laid back image I can give in contrast to the sharper suit/sport coat looks. Oh and that Explorer 2 is a beauty. Best, Han.
Nice fits! But one thing I always hear is how happy everyone is investing in “good quality” shirts etc etc. Now don’t get me wrong the materials the stitching etc etc is better. But it hasn’t been my experience that they last any longer than a decent quality item. Example, do you honestly think you’re going to get more years out of your dress shirt than one bought from a department store that’s sat Calvin Klein or Ralph Lauren?
I really like your personality on top of your clothing style (which is probably the most essential thing about style); you're calm and collected and feel like an ordinary man rather than someone who's trying way too hard to be energetic and engaging, someone who feels too metrosexual, or someone who's trying too hard to be "masculine" Great lookbook!
of course the trench coat is not available lol I have a decent coat from london fog but i wish it was more tapered and less baggy. Actually repels rain as well. 100 bucks for that damn thing.

The deadlift will pad your legs enough to force you into a larger size but then the waist is too loose ,just have to get regular or full cut pants to keep current waist size
The suede jacket is the clear winner 👍👍
