I can’t wAit to make this! Everything you make is delicious girl. Very authentic! That’s why I love your channel. Thank you SO much for sharing, and I mean this from the bottom of my heart girl.
Hey, if your local grocery store doesn’t carry something, all you have to do is ask them to. Literally. It’s that easy, and it’s free. I’ve done it for many years. Just ask to talk to the manager and they’ll get your info and get it in stock. This also helps your entire community because other people will see the new vegan thing and they’ll want it too. This recipe looks sooo good 😭 that sauce, so boss. As an AZ native I very much appreciate the authenticity of your recipes. This is my soulfood 🔥
This comment made me smile!! 😭💖 I appreciate you so much! I always love watching vegan youtubers & I always wonder if anyone watches me how I watch them 🤣 like catch on to what they say, etc Thank you once again 💖💖
These look delicious 😋 I appreciate you so much for converting authentic cuisine vegan🌱 🙏🏻😇🙏🏻 as soon as I lay my hands on some jackfruit I’m going to try this 🥳👍🏻
Thank you so much! I’m here because Avant garde vegan when to Mexico and had vegan tinga tacos made with carrots! Since I don’t like jackfruit or mushrooms and I don’t even want anything that reminds me of meat. 😆 I’m going to try your recipe with shredded carrots! Xoxo
I just found you today and I'm so excited to try this! I have everything except chipotle peppers right now. But I will be making this for sure. Thank you!
I am so happy I found your channel! Thanks for what you do! I've been struggling with ways to incorporate the flavors and dishes I love into plant based diet and a girl can only eat so much rice and beans! I definitely want to incorporate many of your recipes into my meal planning. My husband will be so happy. :)
Looks Good everything you cook thank you for your videos beautiful am just a resent vegan and your videos are so helpful keep the videos coming blessings ..
Was Never A Big Fan Of Tinga, But Se Me Antojo. Not Bad, Partner & I Rated It A 9/10 But Again That's Because I Was Never That Into The Taste. I'm Sure I Will Find Myself Making This Again. I Added Frijoles Refritos On The Tostadas Instead Of Sour Cream. Thank You For Sharing 💙
Thank you for the inspiration! I missed tinga so much. This was delicious. Made them like yours except boiled the jackfruit to take the brine taste more out and I let it marinate in adobo sauce over night and it was a hit! My non vegan friends liked it as well. Thank you girl, keep em coming. I enjoy your videos and can’t wait to make more of your recipes. Sending love 😀💕
Yay! ❤️ & I have a queso fresco recipe under my “vegan red enchiladas” youtube video but for a quick cheese I use the follow your heat feta crumbles! It’s a great queso alternative hehe
@@airamcooks by the way just wanted to say I'm a huge fan of yours from Australia. I recently found out I was lactose intolerant and I've been making so many of your meals, my partner loves them as well 😊👍 you have such a talent with cooking, thank you for sharing your wisdom
This looks delicious! I’ll be making this tonight. I actually found canned jackfruit at Trader Joe’s if there’s one where you live. Thank you for all your great recipes❣️😍
Yay! That’s awesome 💕 Can’t wait to hear what you think! & I used to live in LA county so I did go to trader joes back then but now I purchase online & I love the native forest brand!! My fav!! I miss trader joes, haven’t been in soooo long haha Much love 😍
What kind of flavor does jackfruit have? I know people use jackfruit because it’s texture is similar to meat but what’s the actual flavor? Love your work!! Thank you 🥰
Real fresh jackfruit is a sweet fruit, kinda like mango. BUT canned young jackfruit used as a a meat replacement is neutral tasting, love! It takes on any taste you add :) Texture is that of shredded meat! I recommend the Native Forest Jackfruit linked in my bio because some brands can be too “briney”
Not for Native Forest canned jackfruit. It’s not briney! I just drain, wash, deseed & use it :) I do boil trader joe’s jackfruit bc it’s super sour. Truly depends on the brand!
Trader joes! But it needs to be boiled 😭 as shown in my Birria video bc it has a strong brine taste. Also idk where you live but maybe even local asian stores?
Not this jackfruit brand no! 💕 I use it straight from the can (after quick rinse & shred lol) & the cooking will be when I simmer it in the tinga sauce :)
I’ve been struggling with my mental health, it sure has been a battle. Thank you for your sweet comment. I appreciate you. I finally picked up my camera again & hopefully will have some content soon. Much love 💛💛🥲
Airam, I made this today & it was AMAZING. I even made the queso fresco recipe you linked. You are a mad genius!!

Thank you for your support 💙🥰
So excited for this! Is there another vegan chicken base you recommend, the one above has gmo.
I mainly use Native Forest canned jackruit for chicken sub but shredded king oyster mushrooms would work as well too. Or shredded cabbage/carrot mix!
I'll definitely be trying this one out! Thank youuu!
YAY 😋❤️
🔥🔥🔥🔥

Donde encuentras el vegan queso?
This looks delicious! I’ll be making this tonight. I actually found canned jackfruit at Trader Joe’s if there’s one where you live. Thank you for all your great recipes❣️😍

That looks so freaking good!! I want some now!🤤
There’s some in the fridge still hubby 😋
These are the recipes I was searching for 5 years ago when I first dipped my feet into eating vegan
Aw yay! I love that! 😊
What kind of flavor does jackfruit have? I know people use jackfruit because it’s texture is similar to meat but what’s the actual flavor? Love your work!! Thank you 🥰
It doesn't have any flavor of it's own, similar to tofu, but will take on the flavor (somewhat) of the spices or sauces it's cooked in.
Looks so good. Is that jackfruit brand sticky. The one from Amazon is sticky unless I boil for 2 hours
This one is not love! My favorite brand 😭 because I can use it straight out of the can!
@@airamcooks that makes me so happy 😁
Where can I find your vegan queso fresco recipe?
It is linked in my description! Here it is ruclips.net/video/slhqea3JZ90/видео.html 🥰❤️
where do you buy your vegan base powder ??
www.orringtonfarms.com/product/orrington-farms-natural-vegan-chicken-flavored-base/ here it is love 🧡 in store usually found by the broth aisle!
Did you boil the jack fruit before hand? Or did you just rinse and drain it? Just making sure before I make
Not for Native Forest canned jackfruit. It’s not briney! I just drain, wash, deseed & use it :) I do boil trader joe’s jackfruit bc it’s super sour. Truly depends on the brand!
@@airamcooks ohh i see! I bought the Sprouts brand one. Have you used before? If not I taste it and if it’s too sour I’ll boil. Thank you! 🙏🏽
is there another brand that i could get from the store? I don't have enough time to order online and wait for it to get here :,(
Trader joes! But it needs to be boiled 😭 as shown in my Birria video bc it has a strong brine taste. Also idk where you live but maybe even local asian stores?
So you cook it you don't have to boil it right?
Not this jackfruit brand no! 💕 I use it straight from the can (after quick rinse & shred lol) & the cooking will be when I simmer it in the tinga sauce :)
