Growing up my family was well off but frugal and minimalist ❤ I used to have my school uniform and and very few extra clothes for the weekends. One pair of shoes for school and one for the weekend. I always wanted more 😅. I left home early for another country and worked and bought lots of clothes 😅. Then by chance I became homeless for a month and realized how happy I was with very little ❤. Living in a small room in a convent, and only the things on my bag, I have the happiest memories 😍🌸
You don't post videos so often but when you do, your video is meaningful and simple in a good way. I love the thoughts of this last video. It's true, we tend to wish many things and especially when we have a lack but at the end of the day the quality is more important than the quantity. One of the most precious things in life is having a lovely sister and you have one. Have a good day and I see you in the next video. Happy spring. 💐
Thank you for your kind words 💕 I agree quality is more important. I have had 2 more sisters since then but I was very lucky to have her. Happy spring!
This is my first video and I love your story. I can relate to growing up with not much and even envying my friends who were on welfare, but who had what I thought were better toys. It continued into my adult life as a consumer. Now, in my early 70s, I'm getting rid of things, but concentrating on simple things like planting. Just printed out your strawberry shortcake recipe which looks delicious. All the best for your channel.
Thank you for sharing your story. I can relate. My childhood and over spending as a young adult was the same as yours. Minus the little sister 🤣 I changed for the simple life as well and I am happier now than I have ever been. It is so true, things don't bring happiness. I enjoyed this heartwarming video. Your cake looks delicious! 😋 I hope you are having a wonderful week!
It was so lovely to hear your voice, and that strawberry shortcake looked so delicious! While your videos are always so soothing, I appreciate what you shared and I am thankful for the reminder to find joy in moments instead of basing my happiness in acquiring material things. Thank you for sharing another wonderful video! 💗
Such a beautiful video. Very heartwarming and true. Some of the best things in life money can’t buy. Many people live their whole life and never learn that. You are a beautiful person , inside and outside. May your week be a wonderful one. ❤️
This is such a beautiful video. You covered many reasons that helped me want to slow down my life too. I've created a slow lifestyle even living in a busy city which is a little more complicated, but possible. My hope is that in the future everyone can create a more meaningful life and enjoy the present moment.
Isn’t it funny how growing up with limited financial resources all we see is the lack but I wonder if our children will have a different perspective and understanding simply because we are making a conscious choice. We call it slow living, or minimalism, or conscious consumerism and the outcome can look very similar but the messaging around it is worlds apart.
If you have a boyfriend and you have a friend from the time when you were in kindergarten who now lives very far from you and if you're doing really well in school with your studies, Jesus wants you to know that He loves you so much more than you can imagine and He is inviting you to a relationship with Him
Thank you for sharing your story. I totally agree that material things don't make us happy after our basic needs are met.

I agree, the difference in our mindsets makes all the difference :)
