My daughter now lives in Phuket Town and works remotely she fell in love with Thailand about six years ago when travelling . I have been once and am staying in Rawai next March.Your video is great and I agree all the Thai people I met were lovely it’s a nice country to live in that’s for sure!
I stayed there a couple months last year, it’s a nice spot of the island. I missed the beach being nearby though. Thanks for the comment, hope you enjoy your next trip!
Nice video mate I was out there fighting in 2016 for 5 months, il be back this year in November be good to see u there if your travelling at that time.
Love rawai, stayed there on my travels last year and it’s exactly as you described. Got everything you need but no where near as chaotic as other parts of the island 🏝️
Defo the right combination for me. I rode up to Phuket town the other evening and was quickly reminded how busy it was elsewhere! Lovely spot down here
Excellent clip Josh, not jealous at all. Rawai, been to a few times, prefer Kamala usually but that clip just look amazing. Hows the accommodation prices there
In Rawai there are about 4 condos by the Rawai beach road that are pretty good judging by pictures and reviews. I just stayed in the title in a one bedroom apartment and it was nice enough 👍🏻. If it’s a holiday and you’re going solo I’d probably pick a hotel though
Good Q - there’s a lot more at this time of year but nothing unbearable. I try not to standstill for too long outside with my skin exposed in the evening and then it’s fine, I get bit a few times per week, sometimes worse than others but it’s not too bad or a dealbreaker
Looks awful 😆. I went to Phuket for a 10 day holiday 2 yrs ago… 2 yrs later, I’m married to a beautiful Thai lady made dozens of amazing friends. I was 38 when I first came here and will say anyone out there who for the usual reasons are sick to death of this ‘life’ in the UK / most of Europe now… LIFE IS SHORT. Get OUT. You’ll never regret it. When I return to UK to visit friends / family I find the country worse and worse. I feel bad for some people in uk cus if they saw life over here they’d NEVER go back just like me. Others I think are just mentally blocked and aren’t bothered by the political system the msm the roads the weather and most importantly the prices… I’m a very lucky man in this area and have done relatively well, BUT after living in Thailand I will NEVER pay the prices in the uk. The fuel, tax, car prices the waiting for dentists/ doctors, prices of a beer / restaurants and then you have the abysmal night life surrounded by dangers that come with it… no thankyou. Thailand up till this point (41) has made me happier than I’ve ever been in my entire life. (And I had a ‘good’ life in UK when the world was slightly more normal shall we say. That time is unfortunately LONG gone. And as I said my advice. Life’s too short. Grab your loved ones and get over and your eyes will be open. 👍👍👍
What do you do for living in thailand? How you Finance your life there? Serious question. Someone I know has a flat in Rawai but still works as GP in the UK. I am a nurse practitioner. How can I move permanently there?

Weather looks amazing for August
The weather has been great recently. Raining overnight and the occasional bout in the day, blue skies 90% of the time!
Great vid buddy! I haven't been to Rawai but you may have lured me back to Phuket at some point.
Thanks big man, you might just like it…

@@josh.onthemoveI’ve never been. But the more vids I watch. Especially yours. The more I’m doing my planning!!!!

Thanks for the comment mate. Never stayed at Kamala so it’s hard to compare prices but I’d say it’s just above average for Phuket here in Rawai
@@josh.onthemoveSurin Beach area is very nice.
Monuments at promthep cape are a tribute for Prince Abhakara Kiartivongse also known as 'The father of the thai Navy'
Thanks brother, I didn’t want to talk about things I had no clue about
where did you stay? how do you find accommodation?
Been going Rawai for 17 years and back in December for 2 months
This used to be my home. Miss it so much 😢 will return! UK is horrific
The UK isn’t for me either, thanks for the comment 🙌🏻
Great video!!
Thanks 🙌🏻
I live in Thailand and I'm thinking about spending the month of December in Phuket, Preferably Rawai. Any reccemdations on a nice place to stay?

Love rawai. Ya Nui beach is bliss ❤
It’s paradise mate!
Been 3 times, never to that spot!
Maybe back in 2025
Such a nice spot of Phuket!!
Which are you, pusi prowler or Gary glitter?
Which are you? You sound like a combo of both.
Phuket Old Town is best
I once thought that but I’ve changed my mind!
As an Australian I found Rawai dirty and underwhelming
Fair. Everywhere can’t be for everyone, it’s not 10/10 but I like it
It was.. 15 years ago!😉May be not now..
Where do you prefer in Phuket now?
Not any more now that you have ruined it.
Lol and I’m sure you found it on a map and sailed the high seas to get here before anyone else was here
Voxtours did that already 15 years ago.
Do you have a special interest in Russians? That would explain many things.
Intelligent guy
