.....that's not quite how I'm interpreting the song. And I often feel that artists never tell the true meaning of their songs. Well I mean I'm sure that's an aspect of the song, but I find art is definitely multidimensional.
I'm interpreting this song about holding onto hope, that things will be better on the other side. that the dark and parasitic forces that run this world, will no longer reign in power. And it will be our time to shine, good hearted people. And well some of those dark evil people may have to go, if you know what I mean... Rumble, the RUMBLING?? Ring a bell? Assuming you've seen AOT.
When the dude had his head on the table next to the blue liquid, it reminded me of BMTH's "LoSt" film clip, where Oli was lay next to Green Liquid and Pills.. coincidence?!

BTW since you like Paledusk, I think you should definitely check out a newer band called SIGHTBACKS. Maybe start with their song Zone. Paledusk has definitely been one of their influences though there’s less of the happy vibe. But the chaos goes hard! 🤘
