The Rock and Jason Statham's chemistry and banter is top notch
I love this 3 bald men movie. IMO one of the best FF (side?) movie that will unlikely have a sequel.

Fast 9 was somehow better
This might be my favorite one somehow. Just for how much more sheerly ridiculous it is while still being actually funny sometimes.
The Rock and Statham manage to sell the ridiculousness of it because of how much fun they looked like they had making it. It truly is a fun film throughout.

I really like how we came from the car story to the movie comics, where Hobbs shows more physical strength than Captain America.

I love this movie it’s just fun I turn my brown off 😂😂 and Ryan Reynolds is great lol I’m this for the short scenes he got always makes me laugh. Jason’s action is always the best to me he knows how to do it him and the Rocks banter was great

I liked this movie, it was funny. But as you guys said, Both Hobbs and Shaw are relatively new characters. id really like a movie with Tyrese Gibson & Ludacris.
At least their 'skill set' would make the story more compelling. Using luck and intelligence to win. Their characters are way more interesting to watch on screen. Rock and Statham are just glorified actors. Little to no real acting talent. Ive never once felt there was any risk to them on the big screen as a character so i just never cared if their characters made it through. Walking Tall was probably Rocks best movie IMO. At least it had a built up character. He also looked a lot better too. Now hes just muscle and noise.

If you want to do another amazing comedy movie I highly recommend either "Tag" (2018) or "We're the Millers" (2013)

Easily my favorite movie set in the F&F universe. Dwayne and Jason have far more charisma than any of the other characters. And Idris is the best villain, as ridiculous as his premise is.

End of summer 2019.
The masses who love big action films (like me) got what they needed.
Extreme action, great humor and totally acceptable outlandisness.
The Transporter with Statham and The Scorpion King with Johnson in 2002, they became action heroes.
H&S raised a lot of hell and I loved it.
David Leitch is indeed one of the best new filmmakers in the action genre
Definitely took things higher than expected.
Regardless of the controversy with Johnson and this franchise or any other, I'm hoping he's able to get back into doing big movies again.
I didn't know I needed Ryan Reynolds & Kevin Hart in a F&F movie when I saw this in theaters

Fun Fact: Ryan Reynolds voiced the mysterious bad guy as the actor originally hired to play him had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts

At 37:53 it's funny because I think Rick is just joking here, but Ryan Reynolds DOES voice that character. It's not his character in the movie it's a different character, but Reynolds provides the voice.

Saw this movie with my family, and seeing the sequence in Samoa (even if it’s clearly not Samoa lol) was really neat.
That movie is full of action and funny.
That's worth to watch it.
the air marshal scene with kevin heart was the funniest scene in this film, when the rock goes back home and the tone changes a bit i feel the first half is stronger than the second half!
The Russian guy that you know from somewhere, that's Eddie Marsan, and he's been in A LOT. Gangs of New York, V For Vendetta, Mission Impossible 3, Hancock, he was Inspector Lestrade in the RDJ Sherlock Holmes movies, he was in Atomic Blonde and Deadpool 2.
So glad you guys got to see this movie !

I went into this movie with no expectations of reality and just thought of it as a high budget B movie super spy film. And I was not disappointed

As someone who enjoyed the earlier Fast and Furious movies but hasn't really been a fan of the recent ones, I enjoyed this movie. I almost just view it as it's own thing, separate from the original Fast series, and if you do view it like that it becomes a pretty entertaining movie.
I LOVE this movie. The Rock and Statham. AND Roman Reigns.

I've seen The Rock's actual cheat day and that stack doesn't even come close to how much he eats. He literally eats for like four or five people.
I think the series has evolved into something beautiful. Fast 9 seems to have been a miss step getting too serious for some reason. Not even comedies can put such a smile on on face like Fast and Furious does.
