- This movie, man... I've never seen a movie with this amount of action. And whats even more amazing - most of that action is not CGI!! This film is the true defenition of great action film in every aspect! 11\10

Fun fact: According to Slit's actor, him hanging off the car at 1:06 was actually the actor being silly and his surprised reaction to Max climbing towards Nux was genuine, grunts and all. He said he was happy they got it on camera and that it made the final cut

That's the coolest thing ever
It has that feeling of "A, a worthy opponent has joined" and gives him more drive to pump up that engine.
Theres a sublime satisfaction with watching the snipers in this movie. In a Wasteland of chaos and random violence, precise well placed shots feel like magic.

What I love is how resourceful and intelligent all the War Boys actually are. While they’re brainwashed and worship a cult leader, they’re all excellent mechanics who know their stuff, and can hold their own in any fight. Especially Nux, who saves them multiple times in this movie with his knowledge of engines and expertise with cars.

Even Immorten Joe has positive traits which flesh him out more. He's also intelligent. And fearless. Shows moments of empathy when his unborn baby dies.

Bladerunner 2049, and aquaman had great visuals especially if you watch it in 4K

The best thing about this movie is that throughout the movie you feel like they are going to lose. But they just manage.
This is the greatest Action film ever made. Nothing else even comes close to the sheer achievement in filmmaking that this movie is.
I feel Terminator 2 deserves a mention.

I love how if you listen carefully, you can hear injured animal noises to make it more like the War Rig is a living beast and a character itself instead of a massive hunk of metal.
Man, that sequence from 3:03 to 3:18 is a masterpiece of writing, composition, choreography, stunt work, sound design, music, and editing. The fact that you have so many quick cuts but it all makes sense is amazing. And it's a great reminder that editors are creators too.
it's in the top 5 fav sequences of the movie. there is so much sensory candy in this film.
"Editors are creaters" lol. There's nothing creative about editing film, it's literally just cutting the pictures that are already there. Honestly the job of editor is way overhyped; in future all dull jobs like that will be replaced by ai anyway, so.....

I am fairly sure they were NOT spitting gasoline, but in fact spitting a methanol/water mixture into the engine, which cools the intake charge and adds power on supercharged vehicles like the ones in the film. Similar technology was used in WWII on fighter planes with the touch of a button. This was called "war emergency power."

I remember reading in the original script, her character does survive to the end but they had to change it due to the actor unable to shoot scenes due iirc pregnancy.

Unless I’m mistaken, I’m pretty sure that’s Furiosa’s childhood friend, Valkyrie. We caught a glimpse of the two as children in the prequel Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.

This movie freaking movie was INSANE! the angles, the acting, props everything was 1000% I'd say it's a flawless movie
One of my all time favorite movie experiences came from this moment right here 2:50. I shit you not me and nearly the entire theatre collectively said "WHOA" loud as hell. Good times

Dude its a pipe on a moving car, the pull of their mouths is like a vaccum and gets the liquid upwards so they can spit it out as just pouring it in a moving car is alot harder
George Miller is one of the great living directors. His understanding of camera movement, editing and performances... astonishing.
The editing was done by his wife. He got her to do it because if any male did it, it would look just like any other action movie.

If they ever make a 5th movie, have max use his Interceptor for the full film. And please don't have it destroyed at the end to make the of audience feel tense, have a lovable character die and have the car go through hell damage instead
they could do in that way, and would be a good movie, but quite phoned. If you want to do a great movie you don't have to do like people want, you have to do like people don't think is even possible.

It's my favourite part of this whole insane amazing clip. Camera work is superb, the fast switch between the scenes - i.e old lady aiming, iron arrows being shot, the girls screaming, she kills the vehicle's driver, Furiosa looking behind as the arrow pulls, together with the girls' expressions as it happens, the vehicle being pulled closer, the old lady thrown off the rig - this all together with the music and mechanical sounds as that one vehicle being towed turns slowly onto its one side.

3:28 gave me goosebumps. Those guys swaying back and forth to the music was badass and one of the coolest movie moment I've ever seen. Fury Road is possibly th greatest action packed movie of all time. What a masterpiece. Its a shame Furiosa bombed at the box office cause I want more Fury Road.

It's probably a methanol mixture. It's used to help start drag cars and it was used in WW2 in fighter planes to have that extra power to evade enemy fighters. Methanol has less energy content than regular gasoline, so vehicles get about half the mpg out of the fuel. But it has a higher octane.
