2:28 I love how if you listen carefully, you can hear injured animal noises to make it more like the War Rig is a living beast and a character itself instead of a massive hunk of metal.

Especially Nux, who saves them multiple times in this movie with his knowledge of engines and expertise with cars.
Even Immorten Joe has positive traits which flesh him out more. He's also intelligent. And fearless. Shows moments of empathy when his unborn baby dies.
I am fairly sure they were NOT spitting gasoline, but in fact spitting a methanol/water mixture into the engine, which cools the intake charge and adds power on supercharged vehicles like the ones in the film. Similar technology was used in WWII on fighter planes with the touch of a button. This was called "war emergency power."
@@homeofthemad3044 Flames could simply be hightly rich mixture on the engine... the cars are prob spitting unused fuel that is getting burned on the exaust.
One of my all time favorite movie experiences came from this moment right here 2:50. I shit you not me and nearly the entire theatre collectively said "WHOA" loud as hell. Good times
I remember reading in the original script, her character does survive to the end but they had to change it due to the actor unable to shoot scenes due iirc pregnancy.
Dude its a pipe on a moving car, the pull of their mouths is like a vaccum and gets the liquid upwards so they can spit it out as just pouring it in a moving car is alot harder
they could do in that way, and would be a good movie, but quite phoned. If you want to do a great movie you don't have to do like people want, you have to do like people don't think is even possible.
It's my favourite part of this whole insane amazing clip. Camera work is superb, the fast switch between the scenes - i.e old lady aiming, iron arrows being shot, the girls screaming, she kills the vehicle's driver, Furiosa looking behind as the arrow pulls, together with the girls' expressions as it happens, the vehicle being pulled closer, the old lady thrown off the rig - this all together with the music and mechanical sounds as that one vehicle being towed turns slowly onto its one side.
I loved even after he slowly regaining his humanity throughout the film, Max is so mad about his stolen car that his voice went back to feral when confronted
It's crazy, but if you really think about it: Max' primary antagonist in this movie wasn't Immortan Joe, The People Eater, Rictus or the Bullet Farmer. It was Slit. A random overzealous warboy. From beginning to end, Slit was the villain who had the most hostile interactions with Max. First trying to kill him for fun (and to weaken Nux by killing his blood bag) when he was still tied to Nux' car, then this scene right here with the spitting duel, and finally when he tries to kill Max with the Interceptor when the latter is hanging upside down at the side of the War Rig.
yeah, slit's like Wez (the red-mohawk biker) from the second movie; Max never directly faced with Lord Humungus, the main antagonist, in that movie (except for the time Humungus shot the mack truck Max was driving-in a way, kind of like when Joe tried to shoot Max when he hijacked the People eater's limo). His most hostile interactions were with Wes.
3:28 gave me goosebumps. Those guys swaying back and forth to the music was badass and one of the coolest movie moment I've ever seen. Fury Road is possibly th greatest action packed movie of all time. What a masterpiece. Its a shame Furiosa bombed at the box office cause I want more Fury Road.
It's probably a methanol mixture. It's used to help start drag cars and it was used in WW2 in fighter planes to have that extra power to evade enemy fighters. Methanol has less energy content than regular gasoline, so vehicles get about half the mpg out of the fuel. But it has a higher octane.
Yes and if you look at the car carriers they are carrying even Buzzard cars destroyed previously and some of their own cars crashed during the whole incident (like the V12 car that tumbles in thr buzzard hole trap wich was part of Furiosa escort).. nothing goes to waste
Idk How But Only 1 Car Carrier Appears Everywhere And I Noticed This When I First Watched It And It Is Probably Some Editing Purpose Or Mistake Because There Were No Duplicate Models Used In This Movie (I Hope So)
