I always rate the seasons as this first season was at either a 8-9 out of 10 while season 2 was a solid 7.5 since the part with the younger members took me out of it for a quick moment ( I rewatched it and those scenes are underrated) I can’t really rank 3 since it’s a half season and the limitation the studio had what with the source material being on a hiatus
@@rokkfel4999 I genuinely think that Log Horizon’s first season is fantastic. I think it has a lot of flaws. But there’s really nothing wrong with that. A 10 doesn’t really mean flawless, just that its flaws can be overlooked. Rudy’s journey is S1 is amazing! Akatski’s feelings of inadequacy when compared to Shiro at set up so well. And the crescent burger is amazing! I haven’t had a chance to rewatch S2 in a while but I’m really looking forward to it. I just am waiting for when I can make a video on it. 😅 And I haven’t seen S3 yet. But I’m def going to soon.
@@LucklessReviews trust me the lil adventure with the junior members can feel like a small slog but once you get to those suicide knight guys it all hits so very different
I agree so much with the first point man. I would've been more satisfying to see more of the lv.90's action at that point helping out the juniors. We rarely see the high level guys fight as much. While I personally don't mind as much with how the season ended, I do agree that setting Nureha better would serve her character in the long run.
Hey, thanks for the comment. I’m going to be returning to the channel soon with another Log Horizon video and I hope you’ll check it out. I’ll be sure to talk about the weird characterization of Nureha again. 😃
Disagree on log being a good first isekai, you need to get into one of the super troupe isekai then go to log for a break of OP characters and harem cults.
It's not like I necessarily think the criticism is wrong... but does it matter? I don't expect any story to be perfect, and just because I or someone else could think of a better way to do x or y, doesn't really mean anything to me. It's not like I see a flaw in a story and suddenly I can't allow myself to enjoy such inferior slop or anything like that. Flaws color a story as much as their high points, and I can't take a statement like "It's not as good as you remember" seriously when the show still is just so much fun for me despite those little flaws.
@@Animus_Altia You’re right. It’s definitely possible to love something despite its flaws. That’s partially why I made the video. The other part is that I honestly didn’t see the flaws when I was younger and first watched it. So, I thought it was interesting. 🤣
@@Animus_Altia Also, I forgot to put this in my first comment, but my intention with the video was to make 3 separate videos about LH. With the second being that S2 was better than you remember because a lot of people are down on it. 🤣 But I just haven’t gotten around to it yet.
I don't know man. I watched s1 a decade ago, and i'm trying to rewatch it and the pacing and characters are so bad I am finding it literally impossible. There are maybe 3 episodes worth of Happenings in the entire first season. I literally just wanted to experience the plot but I read the reviews and there's almost no plot, there's literally 1.5 12 ep seasons worth of happenings in all three seasons from what I can tell. And from how 70% of each episode I've actually seen is filler, I believe it.

@@rokkfel4999 I believe you. I’m still trying to find the time to watch seasons 2 and 3. Sadly 24 episodes has been kinda hard to do with a baby. 😅

Don't you worry your pretty little head. I'll be diving into all sorts of different isekai in the days to come.
So basically it only got the mild popularity it did due to the Sword Art Online hatedom. Glad to know I was right all along.

Mostly right. First season was top tier. Second was mediocre at best.
