Problem with bodybuilding is that its become too popular. Muscle men arent rare anymore. They exist everywhere. There's a gym on every corner. Social media is full of six packs. To get peoples attention, you need to take it to grotesque extremes. The classic Greek statue look just isnt going to make you stand out in the same way it did back in the 60s and 70s.
I’ve been a body building fan since the early 80’s. It’s become something it’ wasn’t intended to be. A paradigm shift of sorts. I see this and feel sorry for this young man. A mislead youngster . If he keeps up this drug use, he may not see 35.

My excact same tought, all this gave me was a feeling of emphaty. But if it make him happy i guess its still a good life 🤷♂️. I just cant understand this lifestyle except the fact that many bodybuilders i have met in rehabs and different places suffer from extreme body and confidence issues after things that have happend to them in their early life. And i only talk about the extremes, that never get big or strong enough. The people in balance that are able to stop while it still looks beautiful i can understand. This is an illness, in a competitive arena they would never let the same happen for opposites who compete in beeing the smallest and most skinny because then you are sick and get a diagnosis. It honestly makes no sense 🤷♂️
Literally
I was thinking the same I feel sorry for him cause in the end......!
100%
All who participate in extreme lifestyles in the back of their minds know that their lives will be short and have resigned themselves to it anyway. It's a mental disease challenging the prospect of certain death itself. Free climbers look amazingly immortal but eventually fall to their deaths as do building climbers who do it to take selfies for their RUclips or other videos, many base jumpers and wingsuit flyers (these guys are definitely certifiable) who barely skim over rock surfaces or tight openings between rock faces. Unlike the possibility of it with car or motorcycle racing and stunts, in this "sport" (lunacy) the likelihood of survival even with extreme lifelong injuries is absolutely *ZERO*

When a sport goes from " Steve reeves the Greek God" to Nick Walker the"Mutant" you know something has gone horribly wrong.

And for boxing since your coach said it during training lol... Sounds like any competitive sport that yields $ if you ask me.
Wow that's so true You have to make sacrifices to make gains I love the way your coach worded that
While I have the utmost respect for the amount of dedication and work it takes to achieve this, I also think they look ridiculous. Arnold's era was the peak, a balance of size and perfect symmetry, beautiful aesthetics. Not just roided out mass monsters. Don't get me wrong, these guys have a place in bodybuilding, but not in competitions like the Arnold Classic imo. Give them their own mass specific competitions and let's see some beautiful, athletic physical form again.

Kind of sad. I grew up in the 70's watching Arnold and all the classic guys and this is just about who can pack on the most meat like a bull. No symmetry just monstrosities with bubble guts that will die way to young.
Lies again? Incredible Physique
That is pretty much exactly what Arnold said about the new body builders.
quality is gone together with hard work out the door
Even Arnold abused the drugs. This was of course before the high grade stuff that came later. Back then you could get away with doing a few stacks and it not doing much perm damage. That is not the case anymore. Too many guys dropping dead in their 30s and 40s now. Their organs cant take that kind of abuse.
Exactly the same as the 70's
He looks so unhealthy, the whole division on Arnold classic looked unhealthy, modern bodybuilding is really on the edge. How far this is going to?
It seems that modern bodybuilding has been sliding downhill for a while now in terms of popularity, and that descent began when huge-yet-aesthetically pleasing physiques went completely out the window were replaced by nothing but bloated, bubble-gutted freakshows. Watch Pumping Iron and see how athletic all those dudes were back in the 70's. Meanwhile, these modern guys can't even walk up a short flight of stairs, let alone hold a pose for more than a second at a time. The sport REALLY needs to return to it's roots.
Christopher Boyle what worries me is the health of these people, and those who see them as role models, so they want to go the same way.
And when it comes to their appearance, with such large bellies and waists, awful. The classic division is the future of bodybuilding.
DUDE WONT LIVE VERY LONG AT THIS SIZE WITH ALL THE DRUGS TOO....IT AINT WORTH IT

I think the golden age was the 80s, with Arnold. He focused on mass, but also health. You actually looked good, while being super buff. Nowadays, they look like freaks
I thank him for his sacrifice, he’s doing what he loves even if he doesn’t make it, I’m sure he would do it all over again…. I salute the mutant 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🥶
Hope he has his will filled out. That heart is gonna explode.
I bet the liver gives out first
Absolutely, theirs been loads of deaths in this game, and their only the famous one, these guy are using 30 IU of growth a day, remember in the seventies no such thing ,the eighties they used 10to 15 max ,then they up it to 20 now these guys are using thirty,I u a day, this is why your getting this size monsters now and all the deaths,I invite anyone to look up deaths from steroids in bodybuilding,on their computer,it will shock you, whatever happend to the Arnold look, or Reeves look,or Stallone look,
😂
Yeah I think it's too far.Classic physique looks better in my opinion and safer long term.
The days of Dorian Yates were the last days of true bodybuilding imo.
In no way am I saying that the current era doesn't work or dedicate themselves as much. I'm saying the physical balance and overall hardness of a bodybuilder ended then.
From Ronnie Coleman and onward, bodybuilders have only gotten bigger and softer... The gut on half the bodybuilders today is laughable in comparison.
That's what I love about body-building. It's the only sport which revolves entirely around the self-discipline of the person (and a little juice).
I respect any man who put his heart into everything he does.
Ted Bundy
I don’t
You mean sacrifices his heart?

@@BlackMamba-lt8oe So if Ronnie is a freak of nature, no one else can be? Are you stupid or something? It takes one look to realize he is in fact a freak of nature especially at his young age so go watch other videos, you don't know what you are talking about.
I can’t imagine what’s happening to his heart.
Why
Its probably already 3x the normal size and stiff as a board. MASSIVE heart attack coming.
Yeah he won't make 50
Скорей всего в его рационе присутствует на ночь кислородная маска.
His whole organs. Everything eventually gets overwhelmed, only a matter of time. I rather have slow progress than die.
Long as he’s happy.
Huge respect for the young man's discipline and commitment. I pray you also consider your overall health.
This isn't commitment nor is it discipline. This is someone putting their entire focus into an unhealthy behaviour. You don't congratulate a heroin addict for shooting up 5 times per day.
he's a dead man walking.
Brian Adams I’ll bet his blood pressure readings are like an overseas phone number
@@gussetblaster6786 Speaking from experience are we.... how about you run along and go back to disappointing your family and friends! 😁
There is a really fine line between addiction and obsession / discipline and commitment. and only the person going through either really knows which it is. To argue about what is motivating SOMEONE ELSE is sillier than me wasting my time to point out that opinions and conjecture are not fact
When Nick comes to workout at the gym, everyone in the gym doesn’t even lift.
Right 😂 everybody's watching him
Its impressive on video, i imagine in real life is even more.
I wanted to see his giant ass running on the treadmill 🤣
Thing would probably break.

@LU X becose you could be happyjust look at him lifting, as others do. Of course he is a steroides junkie, but he is not only that.
He's massive for sure... Curious to see how massive and over worked that heart is at 27 years young.
Cardio works the heart more! Peds weaken it in proportion to the unnatural size it grows to.
Like Dallas McCarver. Heart super enlarger as well as his liver. At this point, it's a dangerous addiction.
I hope of all the videos we can save and put in the time capsule that we send into space, this should be one of them.
My heart goes out to him, as long as he pays for the transplant!
This looks monstrous and I don’t mean that in a good way, seeing the bodies veins and arteries like that is simply self abuse. These guys won’t reach 40! It’s a type of body dysmorphia they have!
This guy will be the new Ronnie Coleman
Hard work, tons of resources every day ... for a tournament title and photos ... on a grave stone? Isn't it better to live more diverse life?
Arnold back in a day was way more than human being needs in terms of muscle, but these guys nowadays are outside of sanity. Sort of drug addiction.

J yep scary looking and not healthy .When ya look at what bodybuilding has become from the early days of healthy men like steve reeves and with believable measurements and no drugs and now a monstrocity .Arnold said he was gonna stop the freaky look and here he is applading it ,he is as shallow as the statue he gave him ,completely empty
@@igorstein5616 He is the promoter so he applauds but in his head he thinks " Mein Gott er ist grotesk"
Acne sores all down back of his legs. Screw that I'll stay natural and small and healthy
I generally have a pretty high level of respect for bodybuilding and the dedication it takes to be an elite one, and I understand the place steroid use has in it. But when I see a guy suffering so many of the adverse side effects of the lifestyle from the cystic acne covering his back and thighs, to the blown out varicose veins in his calves you can’t help but wonder what goes through his mind when he weighs the cost of it. This guy will likely struggle to be a top 10 finisher at the Olympia and has done irreversible damage his body. The best of the best are not only genetically in the top .00001% but also respond better to anabolics than 99% of people. This shit flat out doesn’t agree with him AT ALL and doesn’t have the symmetry and god given muscle inserts (specifically in his chest) to ever be the best; which is the only justification (some would argue) to shorten your life span/quality of life. Wish the guy nothing but best but the trajectory he’s on is premature death
legit comment right here....
This guy won the Arnold Classic. Also, pro bodybuilding is a niche sport and no one is asking you to like it. It is not for everyone.
Modern day junkies unfortunately.
@@dheerajmantha if you read my comment I state that I have an admiration for the sport and am not one to bash a guy for steroid use. You’re right he’s got some high places in big contests and actually did phenomenal at last years Olympia. My point was that I personally don’t feel like he responds as positively to anabolics as most high level competitors and I personally don’t think he has the genetics to compete with the best of the best (I think he’ll always got hamstrung by his lack of chest development. I would say this young man needs someone that loves him to sit him down and have a hard discussion with him. Unfortunately I think he is beyond the point of being able to have a rational conversation with him. What he calls dedication is a unhealthy obsession.
When it starts to hurt...Well, it's your body telling you STOP with the EXTREME. When you
get older you will regret the days that you pushed your body to the extreme and broke it.
It's about BALANCE and that balance is not hurting, damaging, and making your body hurt.
Coleman crossed the line and he's broken.
He isn’t even going to get old to feel the aches and pains. He’ll be dead long before that.
Most bodybuilders can't see that line. It's max effort constantly, anything less makes you "a pussy" or lazy, or weak or whatever else nonsensical shit they can hurl at others.
Yeah Jay cutler did not push it self that hard. Ge follow is rep
Exactly my man, people who say this pain and Gian shit are dealing with the pain in the rest of their life, Ronnie, Ali...
Arnold just lucky & wealthy enough that can still walking after three heart surgeries.
Growing up in Southern Calif, one of my friends during High School wanted to spend his life body building. All he talked about in 1977 was his up and coming Pasadena friend Doug Brignole and what a cool guy he is. I just heard a week ago that Doug Brignole passed away at 63 years of age. Most body builders I know at my age of 63 are either dying with injuries or dead. Most I knew used enhancing drugs to get past the natural protein powder diet and training levels.
Tbh these guys won't come close to 63 Id be surprised if this guy lives past 40 unless he quits the foolishness
63 ain't bad
Bodybuilding, continuing black face with zero fear of cancellation. Well played.
He thinks that dying before 30 is success.
Это специально продвигают, кск одну из индустрий, куда могут пойти молодые люди и умереть до 30 лет. Сейчас питание, медицина, образ жизни на грани. Богачи живут за 100 лет, простые умирают рано.

I find it fascinating looking at how his veins have quadrupled in size to feed the blood to those muscles. The human body is a work of art. Could you imagine how much is heart has changed to produce the pressure needed.
That to has enlarged, the risk is the cavity where the heart is situated, has not.
Maybe he doesn't have a human heart, maybe he is a Mutant. 🖤👽
Erm, minor correction to your understanding of human physiology. Blood carries Ocygen to the body via the arterial system. It returns via veins and then gets pumped through the lungs to re-Oxygenate and expel CO2.
But he shows not only serious steroid abuse, I wonder if he’s injecting Synthol?
Wake up dude. The human body isn't able to do this naturally. This guy 's inside is already rotting, that's what steroids do. The acne on his back speaks by itself.

That's the point , absolutely unhealthy and totally destroying his body
drugs drugs drugs! all you need are drugs!!!
To your point, yes, being 300lbs is 300lbs as far as your body knows. You're overweight with all the problems that come with it. But, fat doesn't need a blood supply like muscles do, so the heart is actually working HARDER to supply 300lbs of bodybuilder than it is to a 300lb fatass.
@@RyanMcIntyre isn’t heart a muscle too? If you do some sort of cardiovascular, even weightlifting exercise, the heart then also thickens and gets stronger. So it’s completely untrue that 300lbs persons heart will work hard the same way compared to someone who is 300lbs fat. Yes, the heart will work harder in both scenarios, but the guy with 300lbs of fat will have not done any exercise in life and will have untrained heart, which will much more likely lead to cardiovascular disease if he doesn’t improve. Plus Diabetes can significantly increase cardiovascular disease in those with metabolic syndrome, whilst those with more muscle have better insulin sensitivity, as the sugar is uptakes by the muscles.
@@gricius Was gonna say. Most 300lbs people don't do hours of cardio every day. Most serious health issues have nothing to do with aas, life is a fucking lottery I have tons of family that never eat unhealthy never smoked or drank and all died before they turned 50.
