Thanks man I just got fids and was going to splice eyes on both ends. I also just got a zig zag plus and now I’m only going to splice one end of my climbing rope. Thank you.
Thank you, i am looking for the most suitable setup for palm tree descending. I think zigzag is enough with a friction saver. Any advice will be appreciated, thank you.
I think I see where you are going with this one. In order to have to sewn terminations on each end, the Zig Zag must be on the rope before having the sewn terminations done. However, we wouldn't really recommend that. You wouldn't be able to use the other end with the Zig Zag, unless you wanted it for a "Secondary tie-in or for different positioning maneuvers".
Exactly my thoughts. I use Electrical tape wrapped tight and pliers if I’m really struggling. Lol live the gear guys, thank you for the last order.

Great tip for the Zig Zag - thank you!

What diameter rope were you using there?
Can you attach a rope with 2 sewn eyelets to the zig zag or isn't that possible? It didn't seem like it was an option just looking at it. Thanks
