- Taking a look at the A2L and variants in this ship book from Moon Toad publishing. This is designed for use with Traveller and is compatible with Cepheus Engine. The book contains a number of ship variants, plenty of deck plans, and even a crew ready to play. You can get the PDF from DriveThruRPG with this link: www.drivethrurpg.com/product/...

Only just discovered this channel. Have enjoyed your “Behind the Claw” podcasts. Kudos.
If it's wonderful to have your voice back in traveller! Welcome back!
This is really something, I am on my way over to grab a copy now. Thank you for the review.
The ART on this is amazing. I gotta get this.
The pointy ship linked to the A2 by a boarding tunnel is a Type T Patrol Ship, so it's probably a customs inspection. The boxy ship is a Gazelle Close Escort, which apparently failed to escort that A2 safely through pirate infested space.

Nice review, Felbrigg. We have recently returned to classic Traveller after a break of several years and are loving it. As always, your Traveller videos are an inspiration - and Behind the Claw is essential listening for anyone interested in the system in my view: so atmospheric, well thought out, and informative. Thank you!
Bless you Bett! Happy Travelling!
My group is about to start a one shot using Mongoose Traveller 2E (2022). We're really looking forward to it.

Pedantry: Yes, a Captain's "cabin." That's what they're called. Despite what touristy cruise lines want to tell you, a "stateroom" is onboard quarters for an official of state, such as a commodore or admiral or ambassador or viceroy or actual royalty. (Or a President or Premier or other such high state official.) Other officers and crew have "quarters" if they're enclosed. If it's an open-plan bunk beds style situation those are "berths," individually. (But any bed in a cabin, stateroom or quarters is called a "berth.")
Make sense?
Thanks for the review !
Nice review. FYI - that boxy militaristic ship looks to be one of the 600T Gazelle Close Escorts. ... and usual, I agree, Ian does such a fantastic rendition! (I'm part of his Patreon.)
Bless you for supporting a creator. That makes you a patron of the arts and culture. Bravo!
It looks like they made heavy use of SketchUp for the ship exterior and interior pictures. Good stuff.
I think that's what he uses too.
@@PrintAndPlayPodcast Yep Sketchup it is.
Nice ship. It just isn't an A2L. It is an Empress Marava L.
The A2 is an equal sized but totally different shape hull.

a jump three only takes one week no different from any other jump. So what you'll find is it only being operational for two weeks means you have to fuel up after every jump no matter what.
I always like to allow a week's travel at each end of the jump...just in case.
@@PrintAndPlayPodcast Yeah that's for the best, one mis-jump and that crew is cooked.
