Watching your tutorials is where I realize everything I have left to learn🤯

Thanks, Eran, for commenting my latest video. I appreciate it 😊. Coincidentally my next video is about these new features but not so in-depth like yours, only scratching the surface. In my video I won’t mention the Depth of field effect because it didn’t work for me somehow. But thanks to your video I know now what I did wrong 😊. By the way my other favorite Fritz Lang film is “M” 😎

Pleasure reading your comments as watching your videos 🙏 as always thanks for the feedback. I’ll stop before it gets too sticky 🤩

So how do these new effects compare to Depth Scanner from Blace Plugins?

They are more stable and accurate, but force you to pre-comp.

The 3D Channel Extract effect remains black on my images and footage no matter how much I adjust the b&w points. Am I missing something very obvious here?

I assume you're using the beta version. Can't really say what's going wrong on your end, but since this is still in beta I recommend you'll report it to Adobe so they can attend to it sooner rather than later. Thanks for the comment!

Great question! they add ~5% on average, I think it worth the time.
