The movement of the headlights work better while driving. I believe they are speed dependent. On my X5 I can see them move dramatically depending on the steering angle.
I love my 2013 535I GT. I bought it new and the most reliable car I've ever had. I have 83k on mine. I still drive it daily. My black is coming off on some buttons too.
im about to buy an used one (2013).. 137k Km on it.. im pretty worried about its reliability but at the same time i like it so much, so im so confused,, dont know what to do
Did you end up buying one? The only thing I can suggest about purchasing high-ish mileage cars is do get a PPI done, maybe even two. Hope it worked out for you.
I have a 2014 535i, X drive with M sport package. I swapped out the tires for Michelin Pilots, and the difference was night and day. I just reached 77,000 KM's which is less than 60,000 miles. The car has never seen snow, never been smoked in, and I've never had anyone in the rear seat. I keep it parked in my garage so the sun doesn't 'bake' it. lol I'll be buying a newer one soon, so I'll have to sell my '14, or build a bigger garage. lol
yeah the tire change is like the #1 must do thing for these cars, the RFT's are terrible. I'm also thinking of a 6GT just cause i love this car so much.
@@johnathanwillan2799 The car is still in storage for the winter. The first couple of weeks in June is when I'll drive it for the first time since last summer.

Haha awesome, we have a rare vehicle. Barely see them around. The transmission fluid has not been changed IIRC.I remember wanting it changed but BMW calls it a "high mileage fluid" or something, it's meant to be changed once every 100 000km and I'm not there yet.
Hi.. Cld you please elaborate more on the engine performance and petrol consumption in both city and highway driving.. And also is it an expensive to maintain this car.. As im looking to buy a 2011 model
Will be 9 years this October. There is sport, sport plus and comfort but there is zero point for sport modes because the car is so heavy and clumsy. Sport mode make the steering wheel so heavy it's unbearable, and suspension is stiffer. This car is meant for comfort, just keep in comfort :)
Late to the party but do you know how to turn off the feature that forces the windows to adjust when exiting the vehicle. Mine will role down just slightly when I open the door and adjust back up when I close the door
Excellent video but also noticed your gas tank is ON EMPTY. Bad idea to let the gas and contaminates from the bottom of the tank work their way through the system. REFILL at 1/8th minimum to avoid issues. The tail lights are not LED....they are a gas/neon time tube light.
My gas is past the first tick, not even close to empty, you can see when i press the start button. I think you got confused when I pressed the start button the second time that shuts down the car and it went back down. But I appreciate the comment and info on the rear lights. Cheers!
Say what is the Key slot down from the gear leaver do ? and the 2 silver unmarked rectangular buttons either side of the key slot what do they do ? the adaptive headlights that track with the steering wheel, does it also have Adaptive high beam lights ? 3rdly are all those neat features also on the top spec BMW 335i GT 2013 ? Cheers
Those unmarked silver buttons open the armrest to access the storage. The key locks the armrest storage if you choose to do so. It does not have adaptive high beams. I cannot comment on the 335i GT unfortunately. Thanks for watching. Cheers
incredibly helpful. Im in the market for used 2011/2012. Found a few in CA. Any advice on what to look for ? i've heard to ask about rear suspension? Again thanks for posting..great content and well explained.
For the rear suspension what people are talking about will be the air bags. There are air bags at the back to self level the car when you have a lot of luggage in the back (i know, luxurious right?) They can tend to leak causing the rear to sag after the car is turned off. When you turn the car on again they pump up but this burns the pump out, so the air bags need replacement but they are 1. cheap and 2. very easy to replace. If you're in CA, then that helps a lot as you don't need to look for rust. There isn't much else to look for except the usual N55 engine stuff you may want to research on. Good luck and thanks for watching!
@@Jaleesa4 The cigarette lighter by the cupholders indeed do not charge, however there is another one inside the armrest storage that provides power. If you plug a car charger into there and use the cable to your phone it will charge. I should have put this in the tips as it's a very strange odd thing. You're in luck though you came to the right place. Lmk if it works out!
So if you go to 3:37 you will see the R and camera logo button. It has a check mark meaning you are in Reverse Camera mode. If you press it then the check mark disappears and you are in birdseye view like at 3:55.
Thanks for watching. Yes I still have it but actually likely be trading it in soon! Sad it's been while me for over 10 years now but time for a change.
On average, with about 60% highway I'm getting 600+ km to a tank that's with the light coming on. So about 10.1 litres per 100km. I think that is very good for how heavy this car is.
Looking at a 2011 535i with 60k miles. No warranty would I be expecting a lot out of my pockets down the road besides oils changes and simple things like that
So far we have not had any issues at all. The passenger seat makes a noise when you adjust but I don't think that's a big problem considering it's nearly 10 years old.
why would you even touch fan switches?? Set the temp and press Auto and let the car keep it at that temp. You are just making it worse and not what its intended to do.
