I bought mine new back in 2013. I still have it and has been the best most reliable car I've owned to date. I love how it looks too. You dont see many on the road so the design looks fresh still.
I'm looking at a 2011 535xi GT with only 37K miles. $19K is what's being asked. Should I go for it? Want to be assured that I can hit 60K miles without massive bills.
@@far574 Thank you for your reply. What is your car's build date? Is it manufactured in 2010? Or actually built in 2011? The one I am looking at is made in June of 2011. Should I consider paying for an extended warranty ($4K)?
Slowly but surely people are seeing the point of this car, its awesome but not at first sight. Driving it is such a treat, you just have to experience it.
It really looks great in person, it is very distinguished. Someone I know owns one and I've been into it a couple of times, boy it's dead elegant and comfortable, much more than Mercedes GLK or ML series
Great car with ample equipment, a joy for driver and the pasengers as well. Once you get used to this vehicle you are adicted to bmw brand beyond recovery and you will enjoy it all your life.
I wish we did.. Wagons aren't as popular here and it sucks.. Wagons are much better than SUVs in my opinion.. We used to have it, but they're slowly dropping them :(
Without going back and checking the press releases, I believe it's a twin scroll turbo, not a true twin turbo. I've become more accurate over the years. Really.
I think Mercedes has something similar with a version of the 4 door coupe, the CLS class. However, it doesn't compete with the 5 Series GT. Only competitor? Audi A7 --and I'd take that over the Beamer.
Can't wait for BMW to get rid of these cars and mark my words they will - if you're gonna spend that much money on a car it sure better be good looking as well as perform - every time i see someone driving this car I almost think that they forgot to wear their contacts or glasses that day...

@@MegaEriable I have 92k on mine and not one issue yet. I had my AC worked on last year. Other than that these are great cars.

@@MegaEriable you might to get a warranty, but see what it covers and if its worth it.
These reviews are terrific - some of the best on youtube!
I own a BMW 5series GT and I can say it's a perfect machine
Gotta ask im about to go into college and I want a nice car how's reliability been i hear these are pretty well built cars
@@catioicat727 Love to hear this as well. x2
@@catioicat727 one of the best cars you can buy
You cannot do better than BMW, the 5 Series GT is awesome.
Super agree
I love it. There's so much space inside!
10 years later, this is still better than their "coupes". That tailgate would do them a lot of favors still.
U give great reviews man, congrats
thanks for the review! love it!
The appeal to viewers at the end of this episode to click the "Like" button is like something out of the Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job!
@BedsideGnome In real life, it really grew on me, and I think it's a beautiful car. The pictures don't do it justice. :)
best review on u-tube ever ...!!!
These have aged well. It’s basically a SUV / hatchback hybrid.
this car grows on me now the more i look at it
Super Review!
The spot will also air on national cable networks including VH1 and Comedy Central.
Very nice review and very nice channel. I will subscribe.

Our next car 👍
love this car...
wow this guy is awesome! Definetly an honest review.
why doesn't the USA get the wagon 5series aswell? here in england we can get the wagon (we call it estate, bmw calls it touring) AND the gt?
Just got one excellent love it
Love to hear your perspective on how reliable it's been. :)
@PlanoGirlinTexas i hear the 2012s will be almost the same, significant changes wont be until like 2014-2016
I can say it was a great first car I loved that car and I want a new one

@MrStarman1978 how is the a7 a wagon?
they could have made the wheel arcs bigger, it looks like a prius. But any way the 6 series gt replacement looks better
Great review! Not sure about the car though. If you want a sport laxury wagon, go with the Audi 7 series!
NOW THATS A REAL BMW
nice car
Good review, but I highly prefer the A7
1:34 The corona test.
i wish to buy this car
No problem for the like
They should add that tailgate to the X6
I wish we did.. Wagons aren't as popular here and it sucks.. Wagons are much better than SUVs in my opinion.. We used to have it, but they're slowly dropping them :(
The CLS, GT, A7 are all direct competitors.
Actually the GT stands in its own way
Is this really a twin turbo. I thought TwinPower turbo is what BMW calls their variable scroll turbo or something like that.
Without going back and checking the press releases, I believe it's a twin scroll turbo, not a true twin turbo. I've become more accurate over the years. Really.
Wow, thanks for the reply. I was looking into a used GT and am trying to gather info.
277 hp dyno

I'm sorry but I couldn't get my eyes off the toupee on this guy.
it's not a twin turbo omfg
Nice car but i don't think i can get past how it looks.

OMG
COSTCO

i solute MB for sticking with the sales of the E-class wagon, this thing is just disproportionate looking, and ridiculously expensive.
he's an ex porn actor
There is a hunch on a 5 series, wait, its the new gran turismo....it looks very distinguished on the road I will agree, but, ugly as f**k
great review, waste of time for shit car. Big Money Waste (BMW)
This is a nice. What don't you like about it? Do you prefer the Lexus RX H?
Best car ever but ugly back :(
Great review. Shit car.
It looks so ugly, like what is it supposed to be? A crossover?
This car is a piece of shit
My god it's ugly.
Rover did this idea in 1976 with their SD1. There was a Citroen thing about that time too.

What happen BMW that is a ugly ass car. For 73k I gather have the 3series much cheaper looks ten time better.
Great review,thank you!
