I'm really looking forward to one day having raised beds on a slope. With the top of each bed level and the paths terraced, one side of the bed will be at the perfect height for harvesting low plants like lettuces, while the other side will be great for tall plants like climbing beans and peas.
Also, watching Kelly build confidence in doing outdoor things on camera is inspiring and wholesome and lovely. Thank you for being you, Kelly!

Some seeds can take 21-24 days to sprout. I can't confirm, since I don't have any pepper seed packets on hand right now, but I believe peppers may be on the list of the longer sprout timing. 🌱🌱🌱🌱
I was thrown off a bit, since all of my other peppers had sprouted. But it’s good to know, they may still come up.
My peppers took about a month to germinate in a heated area. Always struggled with peppers but maybe this year i may haveit down. Started on Feb. 17 and now March 29 they are about three inches.
It is exciting getting out in garden in spring.Too bad that weeds ruin most gardeners best plans.Looking forward to see how the raised beds do.

Is it just me or did those new raised beds bow out in the middle? We’ve been busy here too getting ready for spring. That weed fabric form Sams is some of the best in my opinion it’s what I use on my commercial landscaping jobs
Usnea. I've always pronounced it with oo like in moon for the u. To properly identify, you can slowly pull on a strand until the outer skin breaks and exposes a stretchy core. I'll use it in an alcohol tincture . Just soak in 80proof alcohol of a good quality until it's submerged for about a month, then strain. I use it for when I start filling ill or getting a sore throat. Just about a dropper full for three days will take care of it. I'm also a mountaineer here in Nicholas County. I think there's a limit to how long to take. Check out the Herbal Jedi he has some good stuff on usnea.

Creeping Charlie must be all over as we a a boat load in Illinois as well as here.
