    nice! Can this be done with acrylics?

      Absolutely. Acrylics are especially nice for this style because of the quick drying time and most acrylics are transparent in nature making them perfect for the glazes.

      Thanks Gloria for the sub and the comments. Pressure is on me now. haha When I do this upcoming tutorial, if there is something that isn't clear let me know and I can do shorter, specific videos. Glazing can be tricky to teach as it is slow and subtle. Thank you

      HenryWilliamRiffeII I have been doing portraits for years but never tried the glazing technique. Am very eager to try it, as I love the idea of working out the likeness, values, etc. in the grisaille first!
