some armys in the comments ask you all the time who's your fav member/bias or assume it. don't be pressured to pick a member. all of them are really talented and amazing. there's a quote on our fandom, "you don't choose your bias, your bias chooses you" 😆 for me, my fav was jungkook first bc of his talents and visuals but then suga came to me cuz i relate to him the most
yeah, i don't know why ppl insist on reactors picking a member when it takes a lot of content to really get to know them and find yours my bias at first was tae, but later i realized it was actually hobi, my sweeheart and sunshine lol
That exact same thing happened to me!!! First Jungkook and then Suga because I relate to him more. But all of the guys are my bias wreckers 😅 I may have a bias but I love them all.
I Totally agree with you, my bais was Tae then Jin was like no girl you are coming with me and even though I love all of them so much 💜Jin still have a special place in my heart 💜
I agree! I am OT7 because I can watch a MV, an episode, a vlive, a live concert and any one of them can do or say something that either breaks my heart, uplifts my soul, brings out the fighter/protector, or makes me clutch my pearls, etc. They all or sooo talented and genuine that I cannot choose a bias! #BTSismybias #KNKSMYJHPJKTJJbiaswreckers
When JK was in middle and high school, Jin would get up early, make the younger ones breakfast and drive JK to school, because he had a drivers license. Suga would pick him up from school and bring him home to practice.
A side note about Golden Closet Films (Jungkook): I remember when that happened. They had moved to a new dorm and JK got the small single room. He promptly filled it with all kinds of recording equipment, eventually moving out the bed. (From then on he slept on the floor of Jimin's room.) So, his recording studio was so crammed it was like a closet. And since his nickname is the Golden Macknae... his work became known as GCF or Golden Closet Films.
I love too, about Jin, that he comes from a more wealthy family; but he refused to have special accommodations or treatment. He lived in the same one room apartment with the other boys starting out and never really complains or publicly pulls "rank" . I started out with Bias, but honestly I've been Bias wrecked too many times that now I'm just OT7 forever. Borahae!
They had the old school kpop training system which is like the military, everyone live the same. The only difference is getting in. Many rich parents pulled strings to get their kids as a trainee.
@@sariel8406 bighit is unknown company that time. He even got offer for audition for SM. The biggest kpop company that time. So, its really amazing how jin still decide to be the trainee under bighit instead.
@@snisa92 he even auditioned for sm when he was 15 (was scouted 3 times actually) and he past the first audition and was asked to come back but he didn’t go bc he thought it was a scam. He talked about it in an interview with Namjoon. Most people just don’t know
Just to clarify some of the comments: Jin didn't come from a wealthy family. His dad was just a normal salary man before, but through hard work, he climbed up the corporate ladder. So yeah, jin's family wasn't wealthy when he became a trainee. He did, however, use his allowance to buy stuff for the group. One thing that wasn't mentioned in the video is that Jin is a wonderful cook. Despite being the youngest in his family, he stepped up when he became part of BTS and cared and cooked for his members. He also has a LOT of dad jokes lol. And the boys consider him to be their mood maker. He makes people feel comfortable :)
‘Wealthy’ can be a relative term. Apparently his father is a CEO and used to take Jin on his international business trips. Also he learned to snowboard as his father used to go skiing, and they played sports such as tennis, swimming and golf together. So it does sound as if his family was well off, especially compared to some of the other members.
there's a correction there. KOMCA only credits the composition and writing, not the producing. Suga produced the most songs with 45-50 then rm with 10 songs. all of them help in the music making. suga was also the first to be a full member of komca back on 2018 where only 25 members around asia are picked each year
Komca recently released RM credited 180 songs n was trending in tweeter Congratulation RM n also ida s add producer because its facts they each have produce song like example jungkook producer song Youf EyesTell
@@Nastajane *your eyes tell was only written and composed by jungkook, not produced. we should learn to read song credits in this fandom:) and i just wanna point out that correction in komca credits
@@bonchaemanchae but once Tae said when he praised JK n told he prefer your eyes tell than stay gold that the song produced n composed by our maknae ( Tae said )
A little more on Jin : He came from a wealthy family. His looks have gotten him a lot of viral attention in Korea well as overseas lol 😂 He is also a great cook, he used to cook them a lot of food in their early days, he still does. He has been called “Silver voice” by a Grammy panelist. People who’ve seen them Live mention that he’s also very stable. His solo compositions are very different from his on screen persona😅 Like I’ve previously recommended please do listen to “Tonight” - a song he wrote for his pets who passed away “Abyss” - a song he wrote when he felt major burn out and was going through a difficult time Heartbreakingly beautiful ❤️🔥💔
he did not come from a wealthy family. his family became wealthier over time (but they were still not crazy rich when Jin joined as a trainee). In his early teen years especially, he has mentioned his family being more middle class. But they definitely had a little bit more disposable income to spend on the boys.
He wasn't wealthy. He was just better off than the rest of the members, he was at least middle class or upper middle class. Pls don't spread misinformation
Update. Suga already have 132 komca credits, it only credits the composing and writing, not the producing :) suga also practices learning drums, he has a drum set on his studio sksksks and yes, he's so multitalented and capable of everything. joon and the members always say that suga knows everything so the leader relies to him the most behind the scenes
"suga knows everything so the leader relies to him the most behind the scenes" yes, they rely on each other, but your comment sounds like the other members can't do anything without Suga.
The song Jimin sings with the yellow background is from the official MV for the song Film Out which was OST for the Japanese movie "Signal" - there are also a number of live performances on YT. The other song is Serendipity. The clip of him in the white costume is from MMA 2019 performance and the clip of him dancing with the fan is from MMA 2018 performance (Please react to both when you have time - they're quite long, about 30 mins). Jimin received an Award From a Cultural Fan Dance Conservation Society in Korea for this fan dance. 💜💜💜 Congratulations also to our boys for taking home all three trophies that they were nominated for at the American Music Awards yesterday, including Artist of the Year - so well deserved. 👏👏👏
•The one you asked with yellow background where Jimin sings is Called "Film out". It's a Japanese BTS song and it was a OST(Original Sound track) for Japanese series called "Signal" You'll be totally amazed by the vocals in that. Jungkook helped in writing the lyrics of this song. •And the studio version of Jimin singing song is called "Promise" his solo song. “Promise“ was originally a dark song, meant to reprimand himself when he was going through inner struggles. More like a comfort song. It has beautiful catchy Vocals of Jimin & melody and meaningful lyrics too it. Just like Lie you will be amazed by it!
That is my number onest favorite song out of my favoritest songs of the week. The Korean version of the show Signal is really good, gotta find the Japanese version.
Also I wanna add another beautiful OST Japanese movie sung by BTS called "Your Eyes Tell" both for the song and movie title. It's a beautiful sad song, and Jungkook is also the songwriter.
@Karen Axtell yess, the triple high notes! 😍 Also don't forget how beautiful Light's lyric & melody, and how amazing production for Don't Leave Me Vocal line voices and their amazing singing skill really shines on Japanese songs
The song with the foxes was Jin-Moon, the one with V's highnote is V-Stigma (video is part of the BU), and the one with the yellow background is BTS-Film Out.
RM has done SO much work for all of BTSs discography. That amount of credits for songwriting is Impressive. I feel like theres a lot of people that dont quite know what "songwriting" it self means. Without RM, we wouldnt have MOST of the BTS songs that We All Love !! Thats our Leader!🙏🐨
That triple high note will forever be iconic! And yes, Epiphany gives goosebumps each time I listen to it. Thank you for acknowledging and appreciating Jin. Sending lots of love!

Shout out to JIN for being the best at trying sooo hard like having 0% dancing and singing skills when he started but improving soooo much over the years. Imagine JIN was cast twice just for his looks that even the actor Song Kang mentioned that Jin really had superior visuals when he saw Jin at school.
Yoongi's audition tape is one thing the members will never let go of But honestly though, he may not seem like it, but Yoongi is one of the most caring people ive ever seen.
@@Skyblue-qi3oo Well it was just an introduction. The more you know them the more you discover amazing things about them. This vid was just to talk about the basic stuff. If it were to talk about everything, the video would probably be 24 hours long.
@@yumi3595 True. I think several things were missing for all members but then again, it would have to be a 7+ hour video to fit in all that we know about them. 😅
You and your wife should DEFINITELY watch "Run BTS." Its soo much fun to watch and funny. It always full of hilarity and chaos but fun chaos with BTS. Its great to show if you want to laugh with the boys.
the song Jimin wrote that you hear him sing in the studio is "Promise" only ever released on SoundCloud and to this day it's the most listened to song on SoundCloud of all time - I think it has 300 million plays, completely nuts
Let me start with Caitlin’s lipstick is everything. Lovely as always brought a huge smile to my face. I have been looking forward to this! V’s high note is in Stigma. Jimins song you asked about was Film Out which is OT7. 💜CFA
As well she should be, she's gorgeous!! Oh yeah, you look ok too Andrew...😄😉 Been with you since just about the beginning, great job. It's fun watching reactors fall down the rabbit hole; but I don't believe you've actually fallen down the rabbit hole... not truly. Right ARMY?
@@AndrewBergSax She’s stunning. You out kicked your punt coverage there Andrew! (As I did with my wife). I loved where you kept in her sneeze. I thought ‘That’s a guy who in enamored with his wife when she sneezes and wanted to share something he loves about her!’ 😍
I love people watching this video (and a couple others) and going "oooh, wooow, the talent" (spoken or just in their face expression). These introduction videos (when well edited and done) are eye-openers for many that either are neutral or go to the "I don't listen to that kind of music" (ok, so... what kind is bts?) I'm tuning in and out since I'm working but I want to see you guys! They wiped the AMAs yesterday T-T The best part, that's advance intro of the members is (as a song of theirs say): they are no celebs, they celebrate. They don't mingle with the drama people that's in the limelight, they do their thing (Idol!) and bye. Yesterday, after the AMAs, they took a couple pictures on the carpet and 1 hour later they were at their hotel (presumably) eating pizza and drinking champagne (and spoiling a tiny bit of a thing XD - another must know is "Joon is spoilerman when live") connecting with army via vlive... By the way, not only US connection is sub-par, but it is when 14M people is trying to connect (in Korea, last last time JK had 22M with no problems). Oops, here it goes my letter-comment of the day, sorry!!! I really like you and I care about the guys and I get excited. Bye XD
I was totally sold on it being Jin. LoL Oh, the tension! It's hard to have a BTS bias. It's really true, that Army doesn't pick a bias, we collect them. All the boys grow on us at one stage. They all are remarkable and very grounded human beings. I genuinely love them all.
Hey guys, I just wanna say, if you wanna talk in the middle of the video, it's completely fine! You can pause and do that. You might miss out on some stuff if you talk over the video, so you can pause. We don't mind. Borahae!! 💜💜
Thank you! This was the first time we've talked over a video actually, just thought we'd try something different because it was a long one. Thanks for the feedback!
@@AndrewBergSaxI would always rather sit through a two hour long video than a 45 min long one where the reactor or reactors don’t pause and end up missing things. Not that you were very bad with that, but just to make it clear that you don’t need to worry about the length of the video, but more so whether you get the full experience and take the time to avoid missing anything 🙂
BTS just clean swept the AMA's yesterday. They won artist of the year, group of the year and best pop song of the year. They also opened the awards with Coldplay, My universe, and ended it with butter. Historic night for BTS and ARMY
The song with V's high note is Stigma and the yellow background is Film Out. And yes that was Jin's triple high note in Crystal Snow. The actor who inspired Jin is Kim Nam Gil who's now a major BTS fan. 😂 💜😄👍💜
J-Hope and Becky G’s 2019 remake of Chicken Noodle Soup was a tribute to Young B and DJ Webstar’s hit 2006 hip-hop song of the same name. Young B and DJ Webstar are from Harlem and incorporated Harlem choreography into the video, which sparked a viral dance challenge on social media. J-Hope wanted to cover this song because it was the first song he learned how to dance to as a kid, and he wanted his version to represent his passion for dance. He bonded with his collaborator, Latin singer Becky G over their mutual love of the song. J-Hope and Becky G performed a new interpretation of the choreography, and added lyrics paralleling the original song’s references to Harlem with their own references to their hometowns/origins.
Oh and the beautiful Korean fan dance of Jimin is from MMA2018, strongly recommend it after you listen to Idol! Also Winter Bear is written by V, and the mv was also directed by him. It's such a sweet and nostalgic song, you can react or watch it with Sweet Night which he also wrote himself, they show V's vibes so well
About Jimin: the song with the yellow background is a japanese song named "Flim out" and the song he sang in the studio is "Promise" ( he produced it OMG i love this song so much )
I love this...and there is SOOOOOO much more. I started typing out some cool things about them but it turned into a novel. So just - as great as it is now, it gets better!
the song jimin sang in the studio is called "promise". it's his first co-written and co-composed solo song he released for us on soundcloud as a new year's gift in 2018. the song with the yellow background is film out, it's a japanese ost song they released this 2021. it's beautiful.
Enjoyed your reaction, Andrew and Caitlin. So glad I found you. I'm just a year "down the rabbit hole," so it's fun to watch you get "hooked," too. This video suffices as a scratch-the-surface introduction to BTS (and I get it that Ida S's own biases show), but for a much deeper dive, I recommend The Rise of Bangtan RUclips docuseries. Although the episodes are probably too long for reaction vids, the series is a top-notch tool for learning the BTS backstory and discography.
This is the best introduction video because it is updated and focuses on their professional sides. All of them have an equal amount of time and information on their songwriting credits and hobbies. If it’s okay for RM to be introduced as the “Leader”, then it should be ok for JK’s positions to be introduced. That doesn’t make her video biased, it makes it the only video that introduces JK properly, instead of just saying he is the maknae or “baby” of the group. JK will always be the “Main Vocalist” and “Center” of BTS and nothing will ever change that.
Only a few minutes in but I just want to say... Caitlin, your make up looks stunning! I’m going to make my bias guesses 😁 Andrew is Jin Caitlin is Suga and Bias wrecker Jimin Another fun and happy reaction! Love it 💜 Thanks 🙏🏻
I love your reactions!! I’d love for you guy guys to do a rap line reaction! There’s live performances of ‘Ddaeng’ and ‘Ugh’ and I’d recommend pairing them with the corresponding ‘explained by a Korean’ video by DKDKTV because they’re so complex and rich with Korean word play and cultural references we wouldn’t get as Americans. Enjoyed your journey down the BTS rabbit hole! I’ll be with you along the way!
Yes and it is very much recommended to pair watching with the DKDKTV explanations, for Ugh and Ddaeng. they will blow your mind. I never even liked rap before but this is so much more meaningful. Then, there are the solos: If I had to pick I'd say Daechwita (Suga), Persona (RM) Chicken Noodle Soup (Hobi) .......there are so many other really good ones... so, thanks!
Caitlin is like a ray of sunshine, and what a lovely couple you guys are💜 Enjoyed it a lot! Btw, I'm not sure you guys have the time but The Rise of Bangtan series are the best way to know them😉 Crash Course by Suga & spice is also good
In regard to V they didn’t mention Sweet night an ost for his friends drama, it received 118 #1s on iTunes and has over 177 million plays on Spotify, he was a member hired for his visuals but has gone on to prove that he is much more, the tune you loved with his amazing high notes is Stigma, if you watch his stage mix of Singularity you can see how consistent he is in his performance.
Caitlin is looking beautiful, love the lippy and her hair is stunning 💜 I am looking forward to this, thank you guys 🙏 The song with the yellow background (Jimin) is Film Out, a BTS OST song from a Japanese movie. The song that he is singing in the studio is Promise, a solo song composed and written by Jimin (he had some help on the melody from PDogg and with the lyrics from Joon) and he released it for free on SoundCloud on December 31st 2018. The Taehyung song with the high notes, is Stigma. 🙏🙏💜💜
Heey, that was just incredible to watch - you learned more about BTS and I got to learn more about you! I didn't know you were only a year older than me and already this awesome, gosh! What else can I tell you...the song with the yellow background is Serendipity, the other songs by Jimin you liked (without even knowing it😄) are Promise and Filter. He also has a duet with V that became part of the soundtrack for a recent Marvel movie, which was cool. They're all just total sweathearts, incredibly funny and good with animals and people alike, BUT I think you also share that, both of you. You are now making "ON" days out of Mondays (and giving me goosebumps twice in the same week, how dare you?😅) so I'd say you're pretty "Dope", too. 😉
I suspect Caitlins bias is Suga and Andrews is Jin?? My bias is Jin and JHope, Jimin...V...RM...JK...and Suga - I really do adore them all!! 😁 A massive congratulations to our incredibly talented, hardworking and lovable BTS on your HUGE success at the AMA'S....nobody deserves the recognition more. 💜
I've watched this Ida S video several times on my ow, I've seen so many people react to it, but it never gets old! This is going to be fun! Thank you so much for your channel, your good energy, awesome info, and this reactions! Borahae!
The yellow background one is one of their Japanese original release called "FILM OUT". It was also used for a thriller time travel Japanese Movie theme song. The Jimin song is "PROMISE", it was his first self produced solo song outside of Bts album and he released it for free on Soundcloud. All of the members solo projects are released on soundcloud, there are some real hidden gems there.
First thing... Caitlin looks FLAWLESS! (You gotta let us know what Red that is!) Second, I'm so glad that getting just this small dip into some of the impressive things about the boys had gotten y'all amped up for more! I'm loving watching you guys tumble down the rabbit hole.
Re Jimin, the song with the yellow background is Film Out,a Japanese OST released in the spring. It's beautiful and very sad. Studio song is Jimin's 'Promise',it is the most listened to song on Soundcloud OF ALL TIME.Jimin sounds like an angel. Have you guys seen BTS at yesterdays AMAs yet? They opened the show with the most exuberant performance of My Universe with Coldplay. Both groups looked so happy, you will love it. Then they closed the show with Butter. Won Artist of the Year, first time for an asian artist at the AMAs,it's a huge thing for them, plus Butter won favourite pop song and the Tannies won Favourite Pop group.
Yesss!! I haven't watched the performances yet (trying to see if I can find time to react, but not just watch it for fun instead) but I did hear about all the awards and it's awesome!!
@@AndrewBergSax WHHHAAAAAATTTT!!?? OMg... I'm just kidding, BTS has sooo much available content! I'll let other A.R.M.Y.s guide you to their fave mvs/content and I'll just join you for the ride. Loved you guys finding each member's charms! I could definitely see Ida S is JK biased tho..😂 Many characteristics, personalities and musicality of the other members were omitted. I recommend to watch (not neceassarily react to) few more introduction vids by Suga & spice :)
Yep I always recommend that one cause some of the members in this video introductions are lacking, and the other introduction video was my first introduction I saw and it got me into them
Thank you for the info! I want to check out other ones in the future as well!! And I agree that certain members had more or less info about them... also most of the other Ida S videos seem to be JK related 😅
@@AndrewBergSax Just so you know, Ida S timed each part to make sure that all of the members had the same amount of time. She is an Army and loves all 7 members. And she added an equal amount of information about their songwriting credits and hobbies. Most “Armys” have a bias. It is only natural to like or relate to one member more. The majority of this fandom loves this updated introduction video the most and they also love and support Ida S videos. Because she is one of the only channels that focuses on Jungkook’s professional side and talents and not just that he is the maknae or “baby” of the group. Jungkook is the “Main Vocalist” and “Center” of BTS. These are incredibly important positions and need to be respected and recognized. I recommend that you see “Jungkook the Main Vocalist of BTS” by Ida S so you can see him talk about his official position on camera and his behind the scenes work in the studio, etc. 💜
I love watching you both enjoy getting to know the members more! If you have the time, the Rise of Bangtan series is absolutely amazing as a way of seeing their story from the start to present-day - it's fanmade but honestly it's so well-done you would never know that it wasn't made by professionals. The episodes are long but SO worth it. Since you guys enjoyed this one so much I think you would really have fun seeing the history and story of BTS in more detail! 💜
Another vote for Rise of Bangtan Series - it is excellent and the best way to watch their story from the beginning. There are quite a few in the series - and also extras and deleted scenes episodes for every chapter. it is SO so worth it to really get to know them. Aneesa and her team is amazing. They are also taking a break for a few months so it would be a good time to catch up on them for when the new episodes are released in 2022.
You should listen to tear with the lyrics and then watch a performance. I remember i think suga said the group was going through hard times and thinking about disbanding when the members heard the song and they all cried.
The yellow background song is Film Out. The song was written by BTS member Jungkook in collaboration with the lead vocalist of Japanese rock power trio Back Number, Iyori Shimizu, and the track's producer UTA. V singing Stigma is amazing, especially when it's sung live. Jimin wrote, composed and produced the song FRIENDS, that's part of THE ETERNALS soundtrack, in which Jimin and V sing. Jin is also a great cook and used to feed the younger members during their trainee days. The winter footage at the end of the video is from their Bon Voyage series Season 4 and was filmed in my country New Zealand. My love for RUN BTS rivals my love for their performances. I can't wait to see who your biases are. Excited!!!
Wooo I'm so glad you are watching this! This one is a ncie updated one and I always love it when you find out more. Fall down deeper into the rabbit hole Andrew!
Jungkook has always been and will always be my ultimate bias. 🥰💜 He has the most beautiful voice that I have ever heard in my life and he is the most amazing performer that I have ever seen! I am just mesmerized by his extraordinary stage presence! But what I love the most about him is his beautiful and pure heart! 💜 Please react to “Jungkook the Main Vocalist of BTS” by Ida S, his songs “Euphoria” and “My Time”, and the legendary performances of both! 💜
Lol the feels - I’m 5yrs older than all the members and I think all the time “what have I accomplished compared to them” lol but just makes me support them even harder as if they were my legacy 😅
I really liked the person who put this video together. They did a good job explaining each individual member without making it complicated by including other stuff, like friendships , controversies, or past references. And the examples of their various talents were actually good representations! So you two got a good foundation from this :D
The song Jimin was singing in the studio is called Promise, and the yellow room is him in their japanese music video for Film Out, it’s a storyline mv.
When they say their age, take 1 year out. In Korea, you are born with 1 year already (around 10mo in the womb), so at the beginning when NJ says "I'm seventeen", he's probably 16 (sooooooooooometimes (you get what you need), they address their international age, but I doubt he was doing it there). RM, Joonie: May2021 173 credits, November 2021 he has 186 :) You are right, it was trending on twt the other day. He's the 2nd and the youngest. They finally included his JP song lyrics in the KOMCA ;) His first mixtape was crazy good (RM) much recommended, I know you like rap now ;) and then, mono... with lyrics and... tissues, a lot. He raps in here, but is a slower, chill rap most of the time (my fav are Forever Rain, everythingoes, moonchild). Also, his latest collab with a KR artist Aeon in the song "Don't". Too beautiful of a song: ruclips.net/video/oVPYa7QCmRg/видео.html (this troubled artist collab's with him in his mono mixtape in a song named Badbye, and Joonie loved him as a senior before too) He has collaborations with Fallout Boy and Mandy Ventrice, as he appears in the Fantastic 4 OST (the newer one, 2014? 2015?)
@@AndrewBergSax lol, sorry for making camp here, but I love them. Also fun fact abt Joon: you've probably seen he's a genius, 148 IQ etc etc. When he did his SATs (college entrance exams?), the placed in the top 1% of the whole country (yes, SK and other countries rank their students nationally, not only per school) And another fun fact: he wanted to be a poet, still is I think. Already as BTS, he started tweeting back and forth (poem wit battles?) with an actual poet... and this man gave up T-T
@@AndrewBergSax PS: I think I left 7 comments (1 per each) LOL Anyway: Can you guess my bias from what I said about them/how I said it? (hint I don't have just 1 and yes, I'm OT7 -- but it's not a trick question)
Armys i think it's time for them to start the docu-series:THE RISE OF BANGTAN. An army made it who has a background in filmmaking. You'll watch their there journey even before debuting. Every chapter has bonus and deleted scenes, so please include that in your reaction. We enjoy long videos so please don't cut it. We will be waiting for that. Borahae💜💜💜
Just in case you haven't been told, Spring Day is kind of our anthem. It hasn't left Korea's music chart, Melon, since it was released almost 5 years ago.
Ida S has the best videos and I loved watching your reactions! As you probably know, Big Hit was almost broke when the group first started, so Jin was the one who drove Jungkook to school and picked him up, he made lunches for him and brought him to meet his own family. JK's family was so far away and he was so young. The other members did an amazing job helping raise JK. The love they all have for the other members is one of my favorite things about BTS!!
What a lovely excuse to come home from work and not move off the couch for 40 minutes! 😄I could have easily watched another hour plus of this, it was so relaxing and much appreciated - can we request more? 🤣 I could stand on my little stool and pontificate about each member’s qualities for weeks but the short is, from what I’ve seen they’re just genuinely good eggs. It’s a rare case of the more I learn about and see of them, the cooler the people they are and I think that’s what has got them a fair way to where they are today. It’s brilliant watching you two get to know more about the people behind the music that you’ve been appreciating, goodness knows you’re in it for the long haul now hahah
Omg. It was so fun seeing you go through all these amazing, beautiful young artists. I remembered the excitement of meeting each of them for the first time! My first impression about finding a bias was that it was like being asked to pick one kind of deliciously made food to eat forever. They all have different flavors and functions. And I refused to pick one, because why pick one when you can have seven dishes whose recipes are constantly changing and evolving? Besides, it's better to see them as one critically-acclaimed seven-course meal for every song, like what happens in OT7 songs, like Film Out. Eventually, you can't get enough of each of them. But, we're also people, so we all gradually find someone we connect with best among the 7. And it just makes me really glad that there are seven who are all the right choice for wherever we are in life. Caitlin's comment about Jin being the Celine Dion of the group was something I would never have phrased, but it resonated with me. Jin was told before that his voice was good for mainly ballads, which isn't their main genre. That actually cracked me up, because I've always thought Jin's voice would sound great in any genre, but especially rock genres (DIONYSUS). And I've always said the same about Celine Dion, but I get laughed at. Like, ya'll, It's All Coming back to me is a rock anthem, and so is Epiphany and Awake. Just give Jin his orchestra already and watch him become Meatloaf. Also, low-register Celine Dion is a bop. Nu-metal BTS would also kill it. They eventually worked out how to use ALL of their voices in all of their genres though. And the transitions and harmonies they can create have now become smoother and more expansive. So, it's like BTS just chameleons between genres in one song-they're glorious. Their growth is a delight to witness, especially when they perform upgraded versions of their older songs. While you're exploring their discography, I hope you find yourself as stoked as we did when you find these gems! I'm making myself laugh while writing this. Thank you so much for your reaction! I've subscribed! I love your enthusiasm and energy. ❤️✨
I just wanted to say that the person who made the video you saw. He/she doesn't know anything about Jin. Seokjin is the only member who got the nickname "Silver Voice" from the grammy. Moon's song was ranked as the 5th best song from rolling stone magazine. He has many achievements but he did not list them. I know one thing. He/she really didn't think Jin existed.
Enjoyed this reaction. As new ARMY, I watched a lot of their old performances, all their MVs. I have also watched RUN BTS, In the Soop and many other stuff. After I finished those, i started watching many reactions as I missed watching them and I enjoyed your reaction so much. Your energy is awesome! I still feel great about their win yesterday in AMA.
The song you wanted to listed to from v (high notes) was stigma, the jimin part (yellow background) is their japanese song film out, and the studio song from jimin was promise
30:48 the song is Stigma, please check out his live performance it was really great! He really have wide vocal range from the growl/raspy voice, deep, soulful voice to the high notes.
My favorite intro video is "Most Beautiful Life Goes On" by Asian Theory. Background to K-Pop as well as how the group was formed along, of course, with their individual talents. Narrated in English with lots of dabs and bits of humor.
While this intro is newer, I still really like to use for baby Army the Suga and Spice's video 'Who is BTS? the 7 member of Bangtan. It shows more their personality and has more natural scenes instead of just throwing out information and their music/songs. Maybe you can also react to it too 💜
the song jimin was singing with the yellow background is film out, it is their latest japanese single (they have "separate" songs in japanese and do some versions of korean songs/albums in japanese as well). it has a music video on hybe labels channel. here is a live performance of it too, i think this is the best one: ruclips.net/video/HEqe-KSrsj4/видео.html the one he was singing in the studio is promise, a solo song he released on soundcloud for army, it doesn't have a music video
Did your cheeks hurt after watching this? Because I don't think you guys ever stop smiling throughout this video 😁 My guess is Caitlyn's bias is Jimin and your s is Suga. 💜
The high note that Taehyung🐯 sings here@28:05 is from his solo STIGMA. I remember a lot of people asked for that but i guess it was so close to singularity and then you just ended up doing that. I feel like V's singing is SO impressive, just seein how low his natural voice is and how much he has practiced his notes and is able to go to that level of high notes too.. He definetly has the widest range out of them, and more often people just disregards that completly!🙏✌
Yes, Stigma has been recommended A LOT, but I was trying to stick with just 1 solo from each until I got to everyone. Now I think that one will be soon!
@@AndrewBergSax this is one of my favorites from their older solos. Its very different from Singularity, but together they paint a very good picture of what kind of music style Taehuyng prefers. Cant wait for the reaction!🙏🤭
You should watch "The most beautiful life goes on: A story of BTS(the 2021 updated version) if you want more information on how BTS itself come to be and all their accomplishments
FILM OUT- one of the favorite songs and I think one of their best MV. I can’t wait to see you react to that. It’s a new song too from this year… and it’s in Japanese.
The yellow background song was Film Out. This song came out 2021 and it is the title track on BTS the Best what is a japanese album. The next song was a self-composed song by JM titled Promise. 💜💜
The high notes from V are in the song Stigma, and yes you absolutely need to check it out. Our Taehyung shocked everyone in that performance 😍 The song Jimin was singing with the yellow background is Film Out. An extremely beautiful song that I will never be over 😭😅 The song Jimin was singing in the studio is Promise, a solo song that was released over SoundCloud 💜
some armys in the comments ask you all the time who's your fav member/bias or assume it. don't be pressured to pick a member. all of them are really talented and amazing. there's a quote on our fandom, "you don't choose your bias, your bias chooses you" 😆 for me, my fav was jungkook first bc of his talents and visuals but then suga came to me cuz i relate to him the most
OT7
yeah, i don't know why ppl insist on reactors picking a member when it takes a lot of content to really get to know them and find yours
my bias at first was tae, but later i realized it was actually hobi, my sweeheart and sunshine lol
I did know that, but everything time I hear about it I felt overwhelmed
A side note about Golden Closet Films (Jungkook):
I remember when that happened. They had moved to a new dorm and JK got the small single room. He promptly filled it with all kinds of recording equipment, eventually moving out the bed. (From then on he slept on the floor of Jimin's room.)
So, his recording studio was so crammed it was like a closet. And since his nickname is the Golden Macknae... his work became known as GCF or Golden Closet Films.
I remember armys collectively literally freaking out whenever GCFs were released for the editings were incredible as a self taught amateur😆
At a time he was sleeping in the closet
Wow, that's so interesting!! 😮
@@AndrewBergSax you should check Jungkook's cover of Falling . It's amazing
oh wow.. thank you for this information.. i was wondering why closet tho, thought it's an inside joke that he slept in a closet
Borahae!
This! 💜
They had the old school kpop training system which is like the military, everyone live the same. The only difference is getting in. Many rich parents pulled strings to get their kids as a trainee.
@@sariel8406 true but that has nothing to do with the bts members.
@@djlivvy46 That's right ♡^^♡
Exactly~!!
@@djlivvy46 I'm pretty sure the thing about his father being a CEO is fake
@@jinsstyle he wrote it in a magazine "head of a company" he did not mention any company either way he still comes from a well off family
@@jinsstyle - why?
there's a correction there. KOMCA only credits the composition and writing, not the producing. Suga produced the most songs with 45-50 then rm with 10 songs. all of them help in the music making. suga was also the first to be a full member of komca back on 2018 where only 25 members around asia are picked each year
Yep!
Thanks! I forgot to mention the difference in my comments!
@@bonchaemanchae but once Tae said when he praised JK n told he prefer your eyes tell than stay gold that the song produced n composed by our maknae ( Tae said )
A little more on Jin :
He came from a wealthy family.
His solo compositions are very different from his on screen persona😅
Like I’ve previously recommended please do listen to
“Tonight” - a song he wrote for his pets who passed away
“Abyss” - a song he wrote when he felt major burn out and was going through a difficult time
Heartbreakingly beautiful ❤️🔥💔
he did not come from a wealthy family. his family became wealthier over time (but they were still not crazy rich when Jin joined as a trainee). In his early teen years especially, he has mentioned his family being more middle class. But they definitely had a little bit more disposable income to spend on the boys.
@@fierte well i think the person meant the wealthiest member comparatively to the other members during debut
@@zurainaalam9518 true but it should not be confused with an actually wealthy person. His family was upper middle class at best.
Now Jin has the biggest range in kpop low and high to 6th octave
He wasn't wealthy. He was just better off than the rest of the members, he was at least middle class or upper middle class. Pls don't spread misinformation
Update. Suga already have 132 komca credits, it only credits the composing and writing, not the producing :) suga also practices learning drums, he has a drum set on his studio sksksks and yes, he's so multitalented and capable of everything. joon and the members always say that suga knows everything so the leader relies to him the most behind the scenes
Oh that's really interesting! I wonder if there are any clips of him playing the drums! 😮
"suga knows everything so the leader relies to him the most behind the scenes" yes, they rely on each other, but your comment sounds like the other members can't do anything without Suga.
I love how you said that Jin is the Celine Dion of the group 💕
Thank you so the info!! And I know, I'm so excited about all of their wins!!
@@AndrewBergSax The song in the studio is "Promise".
Jungkook composed Film out
That is my number onest favorite song out of my favoritest songs of the week.
Also don't forget how beautiful Light's lyric & melody, and how amazing production for Don't Leave Me
Vocal line voices and their amazing singing skill really shines on Japanese songs
Jungkook wrote the music for Film Out. A Japanese artist wrote the lyrics.
The song with the foxes was Jin-Moon, the one with V's highnote is V-Stigma (video is part of the BU), and the one with the yellow background is BTS-Film Out.

So true, NEVER seen a better docu than The Rise of Bangtan.. every ep just amazes me
Omg i was gonna say the same
This is the best introduction video because it is updated and focuses on their professional sides.
No videos are better than Rise of Bangtan! Top notch!
You know, you don’t have to choose just 1 - OT7! OT7! Come on Andrew and Caitlin - love them all equally! You know you want to!

Hahaha we'll have to seeee 😂
I love your reactions!! I’d love for you guy guys to do a rap line reaction! There’s live performances of ‘Ddaeng’ and ‘Ugh’ and I’d recommend pairing them with the corresponding ‘explained by a Korean’ video by DKDKTV because they’re so complex and rich with Korean word play and cultural references we wouldn’t get as Americans. Enjoyed your journey down the BTS rabbit hole! I’ll be with you along the way!
Yes! I know, I definitely need to do a rap line song!
Yes and it is very much recommended to pair watching with the DKDKTV explanations, for Ugh and Ddaeng. they will blow your mind. I never even liked rap before but this is so much more meaningful.
Then, there are the solos: If I had to pick I'd say
Daechwita (Suga),
Persona (RM)
Chicken Noodle Soup (Hobi)
.......there are so many other really good ones... so, thanks!
Jin wasn’t called “silver voice” by the Grammys for nothing yes…. 🤲
Strictly watch Jungkook the main vocalist of Bts. With this you should also watch Jungkook the king of acapella
They didn't also add much videos of him dancing which is quite upsetting
Caitlin is looking beautiful, love the lippy and her hair is stunning 💜 I am looking forward to this, thank you guys 🙏
The song with the yellow background (Jimin) is Film Out, a BTS OST song from a Japanese movie. The song that he is singing in the studio is Promise, a solo song composed and written by Jimin (he had some help on the melody from PDogg and with the lyrics from Joon) and he released it for free on SoundCloud on December 31st 2018.
The Taehyung song with the high notes, is Stigma.
🙏🙏💜💜
Thank you! 💜
Thank you for this info!! I love the puns 😂 and yeah, I've had a little more time so I've been posting more! 😀
I suspect Caitlins bias is Suga and Andrews is Jin?? My bias is Jin and JHope, Jimin...V...RM...JK...and Suga - I really do adore them all!! 😁
A massive congratulations to our incredibly talented, hardworking and lovable BTS on your HUGE success at the AMA'S....nobody deserves the recognition more. 💜
I've watched this Ida S video several times on my ow, I've seen so many people react to it, but it never gets old! This is going to be fun! Thank you so much for your channel, your good energy, awesome info, and this reactions!
Borahae!
Thank you so much! 💜
"like me in the mirror every morning hyping myself up" I'VE NEVER RELATED TO ANYTHING MORE LOL
😂
Thank you! Caitlin wanted me to tell you the color is Cleo Red from LA FEMME Cosmetics! 😂
P.s Have you heard Serendipity yet?
Yesss!! I haven't watched the performances yet (trying to see if I can find time to react, but not just watch it for fun instead) but I did hear about all the awards and it's awesome!!
And I have not heard Serendipity yet!
@@AndrewBergSax WHHHAAAAAATTTT!!?? OMg... I'm just kidding, BTS has sooo much available content! I'll let other A.R.M.Y.s guide you to their fave mvs/content and I'll just join you for the ride. You should make some sort of spreadsheet though, there's a lot out there. I like The Asian Theory's intro too, XCeleste's and DKDKTV's are good too.
@@AndrewBergSax Serendipity is gorgeous. The live is iconic.
36:48 the song with a yellow background is one of their japanese releases called 'film out' and the song jimin was singing in the studio is one of his solo songs 'promise' that he released on Soundcloud
enjoyed your reaction a lot! thank you
Loved you guys finding each member's charms!
I could definitely see Ida S is JK biased tho..😂 Many characteristics, personalities and musicality of the other members were omitted.
I recommend to watch (not neceassarily react to) few more introduction vids by Suga & spice :)
Ikr! I really recommend every introduction video by SUGA & spice! She makes the best videos of them
@@Skyblue-qi3oo I know🥺🥺 She knows how to introduce, and who she is introducing
LAST: "The Rise of Bangtan" is the documentary (made by an army) to go :)
RM: REFLECTION
Suga: Agust-D
J-HOPE: chicken noodles soup
JIN: Tonight
Jungkook: euphoria
V: Stigma
JIMIN: PROMISE
Group: film out
DOCU-SERIES: RISE OF BANGTAN
Hahahaha I fall deeper every day 😂
Your wife is so beautiful :) Thanks for taking the time to get to know BTS. It means a lot to ARMY when people give them a chance.
I love how they were very respectful and gives positive feedback about the video they were watching.
They finally included his JP song lyrics in the KOMCA ;)
His first mixtape was crazy good (RM) much recommended, I know you like rap now ;) and then, mono... with lyrics and... tissues, a lot.
He raps in here, but is a slower, chill rap most of the time (my fav are Forever Rain, everythingoes, moonchild).
Also, his latest collab with a KR artist Aeon in the song "Don't". Too beautiful of a song: ruclips.net/video/oVPYa7QCmRg/видео.html (this troubled artist collab's with him in his mono mixtape in a song named Badbye, and Joonie loved him as a senior before too)
He has collaborations with Fallout Boy and Mandy Ventrice, as he appears in the Fantastic 4 OST (the newer one, 2014? 2015?)
Well said👏🏻👏🏻
Ohhh thank you for all the info! This is all so interesting!! 😀
@@AndrewBergSax lol, sorry for making camp here, but I love them.
Also fun fact abt Joon: you've probably seen he's a genius, 148 IQ etc etc. When he did his SATs (college entrance exams?), the placed in the top 1% of the whole country (yes, SK and other countries rank their students nationally, not only per school)
And another fun fact: he wanted to be a poet, still is I think. Already as BTS, he started tweeting back and forth (poem wit battles?) with an actual poet... and this man gave up T-T
@@AndrewBergSax PS: I think I left 7 comments (1 per each) LOL
Anyway: Can you guess my bias from what I said about them/how I said it? (hint I don't have just 1 and yes, I'm OT7 -- but it's not a trick question)
@Lorena Givica I know I can guess one for sure, but my guess is RM and Suga?
Armys i think it's time for them to start the docu-series:THE RISE OF BANGTAN. An army made it who has a background in filmmaking. You'll watch their there journey even before debuting. Every chapter has bonus and deleted scenes, so please include that in your reaction. We enjoy long videos so please don't cut it.
We will be waiting for that. Borahae💜💜💜
Keep observing their personalities, you will love them even more
Just in case you haven't been told, Spring Day is kind of our anthem.
I could stand on my little stool and pontificate about each member’s qualities for weeks but the short is, from what I’ve seen they’re just genuinely good eggs.
Haha that's so nice! We all need an excuse to relax on the couch sometimes 😂 but you're right, we absolutely loved learning more about them!
im so happy you reacted to this!! may have spoiled a lot of songs . theyre all talented and are still humble ! my bias is Namjoon but im OT7!
Haha yeah it spoiled a few I wish it wouldn't have, but maybe I'll forget some of it before I get to the full songs 😂
A great feature about Suga is the emotional and powerful performance on stage🔥🔥
The song you wanted to listed to from v (high notes) was stigma, the jimin part (yellow background) is their japanese song film out, and the studio song from jimin was promise
Yess, love watching you learn more about the boys and more videos with Caitlin are always welcome!
Thank you! 😀
Maybe you can also react to it too 💜
Kim Nam Gil is the actor that inspired Jin to become an actor. I’m a huge fan of Kim Nam Gil also. 💙💙💜💜
the song jimin was singing with the yellow background is film out, it is their latest japanese single (they have "separate" songs in japanese and do some versions of korean songs/albums in japanese as well). it has a music video on hybe labels channel. here is a live performance of it too, i think this is the best one: ruclips.net/video/HEqe-KSrsj4/видео.html
the one he was singing in the studio is promise, a solo song he released on soundcloud for army, it doesn't have a music video
Did your cheeks hurt after watching this? Because I don't think you guys ever stop smiling throughout this video 😁 My guess is Caitlyn's bias is Jimin and your s is Suga. 💜
Hahaha they did hurt a little 😅
Suga's piano video was a promotional film for his trainers- they had a PUMA endorsement at the time
Thank you! 😀
Taehyungs high note is from the Stigma live performance. I highly highly recommend, its one of my all time favorites
*They have a 4 day concert in LA next month. Btw, they just won big on the AMA's 2 days ago.*
Thank you both for this reaction! 💜
I get the feeling you guys would love the Run BTS, Bon Voyage and In the Soop!!!
Jin eats on vlive bc he does it for people who are insecure about eating and we appreciate dearly for that💜
The high note that Taehyung🐯 sings here@28:05 is from his solo STIGMA.
Just also want to add that Suga can also sew. The man is a dream.
That’s stigma if you are wanting to listen to it, it is awesome
The high notes from V are in the song Stigma, and yes you absolutely need to check it out. Our Taehyung shocked everyone in that performance 😍
The song Jimin was singing with the yellow background is Film Out. An extremely beautiful song that I will never be over 😭😅 The song Jimin was singing in the studio is Promise, a solo song that was released over SoundCloud 💜
Thank you! 💜
