I just orderded the Ibanez Premium Black, the same you have (i had 2 AZ before, HSS a Premium 1st year red one and the 2204n with Fortuna pickups) so I know how good the AZ are. I sold them time ago cos was looking more other thing at the time.
Now I hav a fantastic HSS, but after trying an RG, damn Ive been wanting an H AZ. Never cared for 24 fret guitars before, but the AZ really checks all the boxes.
I've enjoyed so much your videos, you are fun to watch and is enjoyable and also looks like genuine review. So I know I will like the guitar, just hope it comes with no QC issues (my 1st premium had very bad frets that needed leveling) so I kind of satyed away from imports after that, but after having the current ibanez indo a standard model and many SE's PRS, and and import Schecter NJ, ive been amazed on how good indo guitars are being made, so im sure the premium az will be fantastic.
I like as everyone higher end guitars, i have a couple of them, but its true that are not needed at all, and the premiums AZ has spec wise almost everything.

It sounds like ceramic pickups With the special high-mid sonic range. Yes it is a bit like a hybrid one and it is most of the time a love and hate relationship.

Would you trade out the pickups on the presitge for the fishman fluence that you installed on the black AZ?

I will get on this ASAP!! I have a lot of content already auto releasing so gimme some time! But I’ve definitely wanted to make long and short videos about both these pickups side to side! Before the fluence I LOVED everything about the hyperions. And I still do and wouldn’t ever take them out of my prestige.
