For those of you calling the woman immature and irresponsible, i hope you can bear what she's been through. A husband accusing wife of paternity fraud and no one is considering the weight of that allegation on the woman and how it must have affected her psychologically.

The man is the one that is showing so much immaturity. You sell a house accommodating your four children then go on and start renting accommodation for them. He just want them to suffer in life. If he lay hands on the money eh, he is going to chop it and refuse to rent a situable place or pay the rent regularly. No matter the differences between him and his wife it is stupid to allow it to affect your children in such a manner except you are evil. When woman uses her money to buy the land it shows her commitment to support the family. Very very few women now a days will buy a land for the family to build a house. They prefer for the man to already owe a house not even just a land before marrying.

I know of a life experience with a family friend. The man (my friend, I actually met my wife through him bcos my wife was a friend to his wife and he recommended her) became irresponsible and himself and his wife began to live apart (no space for details here). The 2nd son got admission to FUTA but bcos the father neglected his responsibility it was only the woman that was taking care of the boy. She had one other boy and the youngest, a girl to take care of along. The man only retained the 3rd boy with him bcos he was using the boy to manage his poultry (while he is still working with a company as a senior staff). But bcos she didn't have much the boy at FUTA was making do with assistance from "friends" at school. At a point the boy ran away from the school (at 300L) bcos he later find out the guys were cultist. They asked him to join and he was given a murderous assignment as part of his entry to the cult. He refused. Bcos of that they tried to frustrate him, stopped the help they were giving him, thinking that would make him change his mind. Finally when he was not yielding they planned to eliminate him. He was lucky to escape 2 times. The 2nd time he actually sustained injuries. The boy finally ran away from the school never to return. The boy had to do another JAMB and got admission to another school. He is in 300 level at that school now. So we know what we are saying. You can see how difficult it was for the boy to have to drop at 300 level! This is real life story. My "friend" (I don't consider him a friend again bcos I have tried to mediate in their matter but he remained unreasonable) recently got married to a divorcee with 3 kids. I am very close to the family and I know a lot of the UPS and downs the wife passed through with him. How they built the house together which he has sent the woman packing from (though the kids insisted on retaining their mum's room. They are grown ups now. The last girl is about 23 now while the eldest is 31. Myself and my wife practically snatched the eldest from gangsterism and drug addiction bcos the mum cried for our help. All bcos of the fathers neglect. We had to get the guy relocated away from his drug group to another town and find him work to get him settled, though his rehabilitation has not been easy.
Who told you he's into cultism, i wish they ask witness to come for the hearing. This woman is a mad man. It was later we learnt that the exact attitude her mum do to his father. She's lazy, saucy and every other adjective to quality her. She usually ask the children to be shouting thief on my brother. She's the one that ask the boy to come back from school that, that's not the school she wants them to go.

That's the issue. I love that judge Funmi shines light on the rights of spouses. Gone are the days when men just wake up and kick wives out as if they contributed nothing to the marriage. Even if the land was in his name, he can't sell it without the wife's consent so far it was aquired during their marriage. Women need to wake up to their rights same with men.

It was her apparent gentility that stopped her from having the opportunity to talk about other things. I wholeheartedly trust my wife but even infidelity is suspected, I don't think I can ever have the energy to demand DNA. I can't get detached from the kids I have raised from infancy to high school. Surviving the outcome might be very hard and difficult.
However, One thing I have noticed in this demand for DNA in Justice Court is that the men see it as a legitimate means of shirking their responsibilities. The disappointment on the men's faces when the result are declared positive says so. Most of them had wished they have negative results so they could shame the women and excuse themselves from the responsibilities. While ladies bear the shame where the results are otherwise, nothing happen to the doubters where results are positive. It is a shame.
