Having lived in hyd for last 9 yrs have been trying to reach suryalanka because we love beaches but the irony is it's so so underdeveloped.
Another issue is chilli. Chilli is the major export of this region but also some is us travellers can't take that much heat.
Subbhiah gari places always have a mix of spicy n normal dishes and so we love visiting.
We can only enjoy food till a certain chilli level but this region chilli level is 2 degree above.
Still love the food n experience

    Harish Ji:
    (1) Not sure if this was mentioned by someone in the comments but Pesarattu Upma is always used as a combination and upma is always inside if you order Pesarattu Upma. It is not a mistake. 😊. That was one of my favorites breakfast items.
    (2) Subbaiah Hotel, had the best Dahi / Yogurt (apart from the yummy food) ever and anywhere in the world. No exaggeration there. Hopefully you had that.
    (3) Tapeswaram Khaja is always better. There is a specific place in Tapeswaram (it is a actually the name of a town around 40 to 50 Km from Kakinada) which makes heavenly Khaja.
I had lived in that area for some years in 1990s so I know somethings. Revived lots of happy memories 😊

But the way you have shown the city how beautiful nd awesome it is like in search of gold we lost diamond types. It has became top of the list now. Especially the Subbaiah garu is a icon nd specimen for Andhra's culture, customs, hospitality nd move over the wide range of varieties that challenges our bellies. The way they serve is like from brother from another mother. Kajas were not tasty nd juicy but also world famous too. It's a big crime if someone visited Kakinada nd came without that sweet box😂. My humble nd heart felt Big Thanks for all your travel videos. Keep wooing us with your smile nd exploration Sir🙏Stay blessed nd have safe journeys ❤

The people serving food at the restaurant are amazing, they have a special feeling for their food, and they feel proud to explain it, this feeling makes the tourist/traveler welcomed. I just love the food of the country. So many varieties and so many flavors of a single item at every different place make the country diverse in all senses. But the plastic waste at tourist places spoils the feel-good factor of the traveler and even locals, we need to be extremely careful towards the environment. Let's not throw waste (sp. plastic) in open.

You can find about Mangrove ecosystem and recall MISHTI scheme 😅 besides the beach area which formed due to the deposition of soil. Kakinada is a port, w.r.t. ports you can find that major ports are governed by CG while other ports by SG. Dredging at ports impact the marine eco system.Dredging corporation of India is one of the CPSEs which does dredging of ports.
Ports are known for exports and imports of the goods, therefore Customs duties are levied on imports or exports of the goods. Customs duty is levied by the Central Government. Whenever customs duty comes into picture, the contiguous zone of India,EEZ are to be considered.
Whenever you say about the Imports and Exports, you have to recall the Balance of Payments(BoP). Deficit in BoP occurs due to the higher imports when compared to Exports. With the import forex reserves are gone outside India, opposite is the case with exports.Exports can be improved SEZ and certain other policies which can tlferch the foreign exchange reserve required for the country . EXIM bank finances Exports and Imports. While DGFT regulates EXIM policy.
Near to Kakinada, you can find Yanam town it is belonging to the UT Pondicherry. Pondicherry was the French establishment. British and French fought wars for the annexation of their imperialistic empire. The villages surrounding Yanam(Pondicherry) are belonging to AP. Villages are governed by Panchayats while towns like Kakinada are governed by municipalities. Both the forms of local governments can be linked to the Chola kingdom's self local governance.73rd and 74th amendment to Constitution deals with Panchayats and Municipalities.Rice is the staple food in this region, therefore PDS has predominant rice distribution. You can find village Secretariat system in AP,where decentralisation of government services done till micro level.

You have pronounced most of the telugu names very well Sir ! So happy and pleased to see you enjoying Andhra dishes as well as tourist places here . Boorelu are my favorite, so also kakinada kaza. We have so many mouth watering sweets and namkeen snacks like punugulu, ariselu, chegodi, jantikulu etc apart from our podis and pickles.

@harishbali Sir your all episodes are always excellent. In Andhra 'Poothareku' (made of rice thin sheet stuffed with either sugar or jaggery along with ghee and dry fruits) is one of the oldest sweet. In your next visit to Andhra do try it, so most people in other parts of India will know about it. Also visit 'Atreyapuram' small village in Andhra which is famous for 'Poothareku sweet' and you can witness making of this sweet in traditional method.

Feeling jealous of you dear Brother. Your love towards our country made this channel more authentic travel and food channel. Wherever you are going, we all are feeling like, we are accompanying you and tasting food there and enjoying the scenery all the time.
My 12 year old son demands me not to watch your channel except when eating food, cause your channels are lustrous and mouth watering and we can’t eat them right away instantly, says my son. Your impact is huge my brother.

Thanks, Harish Ji and Team for making this video, I love to write in Hindi because to express feelings for place and food.

    Almost best of luck you.
