This led fans to discover the blog of a fake flower shop on Naver called "Flower Smeraldo." The flower shop had a blog with several entries that was shut down on Sept 3, 2017 (right before their first comeback). One of the entries told the legend of the flower Smeraldo: Once upon a time, in an Italian village called La Citta di Smeraldo, there was a man with a grotesque appearance who hid himself in a small secluded castle. He was lonely and his only joy was growing flowers in the garden. He grew to fall in love with a girl who came to his garden to pick flowers. Secretly, he learned that she was poor and sold flowers for a living. However, he could not reveal himself to the girl because he was scared she would hate his hideous appearance. Instead, he decided to make a flower that the girl could sell at an expensive price. After many attempts, he made a flower that never existed before and filled his garden with it. However, the girl never came for the flower...she died before his act of sincerity could reach her. Therefore, Smeraldo is the symbol of " 전하지 못한 진심 " which has been translated as "Sincerity that Couldn't be Delivered" or, for the song, "The Truth Untold".

One day he found out a woman came near his home ang pick his flowers, he was angry at first but became curious of the woman and fell in love with her, but didn't say anything since he thought he was ugly ("can't show you me, give you me") He planted very rare flowers so she could sell it in bigger price, but one day she stopped coming by and the man found out that she had passed away. He regretted everything and wish that he confessed to her ("if i stood up infront of you, would everything would change now?") And the line, "i still want you" means that he wants her back. If he loved himself then would be able to confess to the one he loves? As BTS has once said... V's voice is so velvety, like expensive wine; I still struggle to believe that such a young body can house so much soul and deliver such emotionally stimulating sounds. Jimin's voice is so light and airy, like you're floating in the heavenly realms. Jin's voice is so raw and piercing (Jin on Don't Leave Me will absolutely devastate you cos you can literally feel the raw desperation in his voice). And Jungkook's voice is so stable and dynamic, flows like calm waters peacefully navigating various bends and terrains without turbulence. They're amazing😭
I'd describe Jimin's voice as uniquely beautifully heartbreaking + V's like uniquely beautifully husky bluesy -no other 2 sound like VMin in KPop/Pop, Jin's voice is like beautiful steady silver, JK's voice as beautiful stable gold😊💜

I would agree, the live version (as it usually is) is much better than the studio version. And when you have listened to that, do yourselves a favour and listen and watch "House of Cards", also the vocal line.
