Kinda reminds me of the theory that Slayer himself was a traitor who sold their source of power to revive his son who came back as Icon of Sin. So basicly he made a deal with evil and thus - with a Devil. This is song about Devil trying to lure poor soul to serve him mocking God and his way of redemption, sweetness in his voice is pure lie, he want to make others his slaves, promising infinite power and to give needs animals want - food, sex, etc. So on combination we have Slayer being cursed like is was stated in tastments - "Burned by the embers of Armageddon, his soul blistered by the fires of Hell and tainted beyond ascension, he chose the path of perpetual torment" as story of this GMV sorta.
I don't know how this appeared in my recomended section, but i thank youtube for that.

while I might have words to say about the studio making the 'official' canon story 'harm' the universe of doom guy a bit...
I cant deny the delicious suculent Poetry of his hate and wordless destruction of anything demonic in his path...comes with the knowledge for all that his actions may 'judge' the humans or humans with robotic bodies about....none of them sold out ther own world knowlingly to the Demon realm for a 'doomed' wish...aka...he knew the energy source/beings he was leading them to was the only thing keeping his world from being outright consumed by the demons reality....and thinking the return his son to him 'pristine'...could be called naive at best.
