Mower Repairs, Hitch Adjustment & Test Run

I kind of broke the mower. Kind of. There were no broken pieces, so it wasn't officially "broken". :v) Can't quite explain how I came up with using the disc for a hydraulic press. Was talking on the phone & wandering around by the equipment. Looked at the disc from the side & thought, hey.... that would make a mighty nutcracker. And then the light bulb came on.....
And yes, that's a real pic of a 560 front on top of a cutterbar. I did that with mine before putting a new bar on it. It did indeed spring back to being straight. Well.... as straight as it was at that time.

Hey question, what year is your 560 anyways? And how’d ya get it?

The 560 is a '62, same with the mower & hay conditioner. I traded up to it, from a gas 460, about 10 years ago. Been a decent tractor so far.

Proof of the pudding( test run) was at dusk? Low level light looked awesome. I lold last couple of minutes waiting until the end😹
