    Loads can be said about this exercise, but my tip for today will focus (of all things) on the arms. People tend to use the arms “to hold their trunk forward” instead of “to pull their leg towards them”. This shifts the focus away from the abdominals and pelvic muscles and creates tension in the shoulder-neck area. Try lifting your elbows high as if you reach them behind your head and at the same time curl your spine forward as much as you can. Feel that your hands pull the leg towards your shoulder but that if you were to let go your body will NOT drop backwards.
