When all the four instrumentalists simultaneously play it gives the effect of playing melody with arrangement of chords on harmonium or accordion. At some parts where soprano alone plays and other three instrumentalists keeps silence or tenor alone plays and other three instrumentalists keeps silence in such cases the individual instruments are clearly understandable. Not only in saxophone quartet, even in clarinet quartet, quartet of different woodwind musical instruments to gives the effect of playing melody with arrangement of chords on harmonium or accordion when all the four instrumentalists simultaneously play.

(I’m a clarinet player) I noticed that the stereotypical saxophone thought of is the tenor sax but the stereotypical clarinet thought of is the soprano. They’re pretty similar in shape of the neck but soprano is soprano, alto is alto, tenor sax is bass clarinet, and baritone is it’s own thing.
It's Nicole & Friends bass clarinet is a bit lower than tenor if you play one that goes down to Eb then bari is pretty much the same but the one that goes down to c is one note lower than the bari goes i think
I play Bari for my schools wind ensemble and symphonic bands and march tenor and play alto for sax ensemble and hope to for jazz when auditions roll around and idk why but my articulations and really playing in general are much better on Bari and tenor even though they are harder instruments I’ve figured this to be that I’m practicing the lows more now but idk any other ideas I’m not bad at alto (atleast I don’t think so) I’ve been playing alto for a while (4-5 years) longer than the others and I feel like that should be the instrument I’m best on but it’s not
Omg i play alto in my evening jazz and then bari for my school jazz ensemble and for me the bari is so much easier to play than the alto even though ive only been playing the bari for a year vs the alto for 7 years
This gives me hope that Italy can produce things of modern value (even though this music was written by Germans, for an American movie). Not much else to come from Italy for the last 50 years, aside from espresso machines, and cars. It's a backsliding democracy, with little to nothing produced economically or artistically, at least since Silvio Berlusconi.
Twilight TJ then again he's using a harness and sometimes those don't tighten all the way up to the point where you're not slouching. It's not the instrument but the harness. Now if he uses a neck strap like a tenor or alto saxophone (like I use) the slouching will reduce.
I play Bari too and I understand completely what I worry about most is sound then the way I look, but if he feels more comfortable like that then play like that as it sounds beautiful. Keep up the great work :)
Ya the tenor is a bit sharp maybe cause of how pulled in the mouthpiece is with the cork in the neck, but ya tenor will usually sound sharp because it's not normally used for orchestra performances cause its Bb unlike trumpet which makes good orchestral music and most orchestra music is in the key of C which will be a note or so higher and maybe a few sharps, the tenor has a bit of a sharp sound when playing certain notes but when playing jazz with tenor, its preferred for many musicians.

I played bari for 14 hours during honors band once with a neck strap so I can confirm it isn’t fun
