i wanna give a big shoutout to all bari player's,I dont play bari but i swear ya'll are sometimes the most enjoyable part to listen sometimes, i have much respect for any and all bari's. Stay strong my sax family, we are superior!

As an Alto french Horn, I find this interesting because im always paired with the saxes. This is amazing, I wish my band would play stuff like this.
Yeah, I play Alto Sax, and my friend (he plays double horn) is always placed next to me, we also have VERY similar, if not same parts.

i agree with u. i played alto through middle school and freshman year. then just last year i started playing bari and music made all the perfect sense to me.
My favorite saxophones are the alto and tenor. I play the alto, it was my great grandfathers and he gave it to me before he passed away. He got it in 1942 so its around 70 years old. It sounds very soft and light. It is the best saxophone in my band class.

I play the alto sax and am just now learning the b flat clarinet!
I started out on Bb clarinet, then to bass clarinet, and then bari sax and on to many more. Don't stop at 1.
it's easy to switch between the two say go to alto first or go to bass clarinet then bari the eumbetures are similar
i went straight from Bb clarinet to playing baritone sax. it's not a huge learning curve (the fingering is a lot easier to remember because it's the same n both registers). don't give up! find a sax and play it!

I started Alto in 5th grade. At the beginning of 7th I switched to Bari. LOVED IT. Did it in 8th too. I'm in 9th now. I just finished marching season. I did Tenor Sax for that. I'm doing Bari for Jazz band, and continuing Tenor for Concert band.

I have to admit, I didn't think that this kind of sound could come from 4 high schoolers, but you proved me wrong. Never judge a book by it's cover. Beautiful tuning, articulation, and solid harmonies and vibrato where necessary. Solid work. (Keep up the work bari sax. I also play the bari.) Remember, all of you to keep up the good work and never lose the music in your lives.
Wow...The Alto and Sorpono were great..The Tenor and Bari..Those were epic! I loved who it sounded so..clean and there was no speeding up, it was smooth..wish i played like that!

Been playing alto for 4 years, but as soon as i tried Bari......it all made sense

Most people I know, including myself, started on Alto, but they're all fairly similar and easy to learn. It's mostly a difference in breath control

for arrangements like this Tuba will useally play what the Bari is playing
I play clarinet, bass clarinet, bass trombone, F tuba, bari sax, and bass sax, all I can say is make money, get what you want and practice in your spare time, if I had to put my instruments in order from favorite to least favorite, it would be Bari Sax, Bass Sax, Bass Trombone, Bass Clarinet, Clarinet, then F Tuba because it's so hard to play :P
