Guh first time joining artfight!! I already have a hitlist and people following me!! So excited :) (Sounds really weird if you don’t know the terms LOL) Also, if you don’t mind me asking, what brush size do you use? (Pixel wise) I’m trying to find a brush size to stay at lol I keep changing
This is the first ever time I've heard of artfight, and I have REALLY tried to find answers but i cant find them anywhere, uhm like where/how do you post the art for the artfight? I seriously don't understand and i can't find any footage :(
Attacks haven’t opened yet because people aren’t allow to draw yet, that’s why you can’t find stuff on it yet! When the official event begins the “attack” button will be front and center on the website page (if I remember correctly). That is where you submit art to count for an official attack. Let me know if you have any more questions!
its my first year doing art fight my problem is i have no clue how to change the pixel amount on drawings ive already made. someone said id need an image resizer? And i tried a free one and couldnt get it to work 😭😭 im a bit of a country bumkin tho so im very un-techy
There really isn’t a good way to do it from what I’ve seen/heard. The best way to do it from what I’ve been told is to import an image into a tiny canvas and clean up the pixels. (Pfp 100x100 and thumbnails 200x200 if you need a size ref)
@Luunaruy ty yeah dw I found a good image resizer but your tip was good too!! the attacks/character images don't have pixel limits too right? (Hopefully 😭) so far I've only seen stuff about pfps and thumbnails
@@waawaawiimote2779 attacks do not have pixel limitations! Only thumbnails since the website can only handle so much! And character images don’t have limits either, just a limit on the amount of images you can have (free accounts have up to six, if you donate I think you get extra)
Okay, so it's just a site where one month a year people gather and draw each other's OC's. I like the idea, but the site is pretty bad honestly, forcing you to register to see more than thumbnails is a bit annoying and community is definitely weird, most of the art is furries and a good bit is filtered for gore 😬
I see where you’re coming from, but you have to register so the group of volunteers can moderate properly. They don’t want/sell your data or info nor do they send you emails. The filters are in place for ethical reasons because the site is open to minors. And I am sorry if my video didn’t fully explain everything 😅
It’s my first year joining and I’m slightly confused on the rooster sheet thingys for each team at the bottem where it says ‘Characters I have’ and the. The different thing I don’t really understand what Worm Feral And anthro are and Google isn’t giving me anyhting do you mind giving me a summery? 😭😅
Oh the cards! Sure! Worm is a joke category because the Art Fight mascot is a worm (Wormston is his name, I think). Anthro is anthropomorbphic, like furries/humanoids/basically anything only kinda-sorta human! Feral is a bit more up for personal interpretation, but I see people using it to denote pure animal characters or crazy characters. The card isn’t mandatory by any means! So if it stresses you out you can skip it or elect to ignore those boxes! It’s mainly to announce your participation and team to your socials. I hope this helps! (Lemme know if you need more info!)
This sounds like so much fun! I think I'd love to do this, but I've never heard about it until now. But before I try to join in, my digital drawing stuff is out of commission for now, so is it possible to use traditional art?
I picked the characters I was going to draw and drew some stuff for them before hand to manage my work load. I just don’t think you can post them on the sight until the event officially starts.

I think you’re right! I don’t think art fight has anywhere I can find that easily explains it, so thanks for filling me in!
Appreciate the introduction, it literally gives me so much anxiety even thinking about joining but it was nice to fully know anyway
You don’t have to worry too much, Everyone on the platform is super nice!
O I stumbled upon this by accident I never knew this was a thing :0
(I love Art)

Glad it was helpful! Good luck with Art Fight this year!
I was too distracted watching you make your lovely reference sheets that I forgot to listen to the advice 🤦♀️

I change my brush sizes for each work since that’s what I’m used to; i believe that you can find what works for you!
Can you already upload your characters before the event :0
Yes! You can super comfortably~
Yes! You can upload and edit characters at any time of the year!

Maybe I'm dumb, but it's my first time hearing about such thing and watching this video didn't explain much if anything 😅
Just go on google and search up art fight. The website will explain everything

No! Absolutely not! Drawing before Art Fight is prohibited! Take your time and work at your own pace.
