Today is my first time in Soufflenheim (during the Christmas market) and I am so excited to get some of their pottery! Everyone is so friendly here. I love the navy blue stew pots with the Alsatian crane design.
@ I did! I went to Ludwig and got to meet the potter! I got a piece for my mom and also a traditional Alsatian terrine for stew. I went to Lehman (to support the sisters) and also the one in your video. It is close to where I live and think it warrants another visit! The Christmas market was open and I had lunch at one of the local restaurants. Thank you for your video !
If one would have not heard them speak french, one would think to be in Germany. All those german names on the potteries. The video itself was a little hacked up and too fast to see some of the pieces you commented on. Otherwise very informative. One can see the german heritage in the pottery pieces. Definitely. I was only missing the Bartman Jugs.
