      Thank you! 😊 for accommodation the Ibis hotel in Epernay is well located and usually affordable. Michel Gonet has really nice tastings and the price is lowery than the more famous houses. Wishing you a wonderful trip! 🥂

    Is it possibly to take a train to Hautvillers or other small towns outside of Reims?

    • @alexandmehmet
      @alexandmehmet  Месяц назад +1

      Hi @paigemartin8417 you can definitely take a train between Reims and Epernay, but I'm not aware of a train to Hautvillers. When we have gone we have driven, you can also look into taxis or drivers for the day!

    4 and 1/2 hours from Amsterdam isn't a quick get-away.

    • @alexandmehmet
      @alexandmehmet  2 месяца назад +1

      Hi @123benny4, we tend to do long distance drives that are 10 to 15 hours long so 4 and a half hours to us is a quick get away 😂

    Hi, could you share dog friendly addresses?

    • @alexandmehmet
      @alexandmehmet  4 месяца назад

      Hello! Pretty much all of the houses will allow you to bring a dog to tasting. If you want to do a tour though dogs normally aren’t allowed into the cellars. We haven’t found a restaurant that doesn’t allow dogs! For accommodations, the Ibis in Epernay gives dog treats and a list of dog friendly places in the area which was really nice, there are also plenty of airbnbs that allow dogs. Hope that helps!
