Dynamically spawning Critters
A plethora of new species have emerged to roam Gondwa and Panjura, vastly expanding the wildlife you will encounter on your adventures. These vary from beach-crawling crabs like the Ocypode, desert-dwelling foragers like the Wadiasaurus, to the swamp-wading amphibian Diplocaulus, plus many more critters arriving in this update!
Iguanodon TLC
The Iguanodon TLC is out now, too! Iguanodon takes on a new look with updated textures and proportions, as well as a new set of varying playstyles to choose from. Take on the world as a close-combat boxer, mobile quadruped or inspiring leader with Iguanodon’s new set of abilities coming to the game in this TLC update!
Deinonychus TLC
Deinonychus has received a major overhaul to its proportions and textures, with a brand new look to fit its new and unique in-game features! We’ve included some new buffing abilities to help you and your flock deal more damage and last longer in a fight; including; Lucky Feather, Double Jump and Slicer. Step into new and exciting roles as a relentless tracker, high-stakes pouncer or a brave little meatshield with Deinonychus’ new abilities in this TLC update!

Path of Titans is a cross-platform indie game with MMO questing, where players choose from 30+ dinosaur species and survive, explore, and thrive through life cycle events and social gaming. Find and build a home cave within Panjura, the first of several 8km x 8km maps. I still think the AI dinosaurs should be different species from the playables to avoid confusion.
@@local._. i was thinking maybe ai specific skins or a floating insignia above them to tell you its an ai
@@fiascogabe6418 good idea but sometimes it can be hard to tell what the skin is, and new players may not know if it's an ai skin or not.
This update feels pretty solid, and the new balance patch for other characters is really something we appreciate!

@@Giga-rex kinda doubt it, critters don’t really have the same system to align them with the ground like most playable creatures. If copy and pasting the critter snek to the Titanaboa, you’ll most likely look like a big’ol meaty log sticking out of the hill side.
@@Giga-rex Mods? Maybe. BoB did it, and it seems to work fairly well for a playable 3D snake.
As for officials, we already have a confirmed roster. Unless they make post development announcements like DLC I doubt we're getting a playable snake anytime soon.
I guess you could say that they might be INVISIBLE in the low foliage

@@domino5525Titanoboa is in the works, it’s being made by Divine beasts. Unfortunately it is not a very high priority to them so it is being made very slowly.
Just finished playing for 12 hours, this update has completely changed the game and the way I play it solo and in groups, this is absolutely beautiful and I am in love !!

@@finn9221 There isn't a biped sub, it's an ability innate to Iguanodon now.
Disregard above, I completely forgot they changed the sub stats lol. You're actually right in that at least one or two of the subs were, visually, loosely inspired by the movie. Source: The Fund a Dino PoT discord & older dev posts.

So, I like writing fanfiction, right? Long story short, it's a massive crossover involving multiple franchises, but for the purpose here, I'm sticking to the dinosaur side. One of the minor characters is an Iguanodon named Magnus. He is essentially what you guys made the Iguanodon in this TLC: an inspiring leader who is also an up-close boxer. Though the leadership of all the dinosaurs in my fanfiction switches between a Tyrannosaurus rex, a Utahraptor, and a Spinosaurus, Magnus is the head honcho of the ornithopods (mostly hadrosaurs like Edmontosaurus and Parasaurolophus) because of his bravery. Though he is secretly really sweet and caring, he acts like a macho strong man, and is even friends with an Allosaurus, Carnotaurus, and Ceratosaurus. And now I can actually play as him in the game. Thanks, PoT developers.
As a deinonychus main I am very pleased with this update :D

this is great, but please allow Hypercarns to eat Carrion, cause critters dig too fast to hunt if you are any larger that an Alio
I love the hard work that goes into this game and how it is probably the most accurate animal simulator I've ever seen. I wish I wasn't afraid of playing these types of games, I would love to play it on my PS5, and I wish I could speak to others while playing the game on my ps5 like on pc.

Now I hope to one day have different ambient sounds for every biome, perhaps new clouds, more options with sunsets and sunrises, but those ambient biome sounds would make the world SO alive! Desert, swamp, plains, one forest gets other sounds than the other; oh man… it would be unreal! 🎉

This was one of the best updates in awhile. The Critters are everywhere and make the world feel so full. The diet changes are nice too, less downsides and more choice.
Can we have slicer meat chunk count as food tho? That’s what I thought it would be for in the first place but it’s only for healing.
And can Thal get some love? The original flyer now feels very 1 dimensional, like I think barrel roll or other such acrobatic attacks would do it some good. The sub species changes were nice for it, love that I can use the other styles for it

Please find a way to soften the footsteps of the critters as they are quite loud at all times. Also please adjust how quickly they dig in and hide. There is very little time to attack before they disappear.

Why did you give it a shield mechanic but drop its health so low that a headbutt from a sty will activate lucky feather? You either need to be an extremely skilled player with a cohesive group or you're a one hit wonder for dinner...

Not sure about the Iggy having a block ability lol. Iggy isn’t exactly a tanky creature, the block doesn’t look very believable wtf would that do against a Rex bite
