Honestly I think my favorite thing about the crab is that with the exception of birds and the odd spicy kapro genuinely no one seems to want to kill them unless they're starving to death or just want to be an ass. They're almost nothing but beneficial to everyone around them so trying to kill one usually leads to the offender getting jumped no questions asked by everyone around. I've legit seen people that were actively trying to kill each other not two seconds before stop what they were doing to dogpile a kapro that tried a crab in IC once. Bro tried to dip into the pond only for a dein to drag him back out and hold him to face the mob. Wild stuff I tell ya.
I was actually on my achillo drinking some water at the Grand Plains River when this sarco snatched me! Dragged me underwater to drown me but I had been given a manta ray earlier and offered it up to them. They dropped me on the shore, ate the manta ray, and went back into the water.
