Sanyang Riot - How the Police acted to quell the violence

Considering previous crisis where human casualties have often been the craft of Gambian security forces, it was a general consensus on Monday, that the police has rarely demonstrated the professionalism it used to quell the riot in Sanyang. Despite the deleterious atmosphere marred with acts of violence and properties' damages, the police acted accordingly, with restrain, to contain the angry mobsters and limit the fast-spreading attacks on private goods and innocent people.
