This MVP race is not gonna be close I would be surprised if any player except Josh Allen gets a first place vote. I think it's gonna be one of the biggest blowouts in terms of mvp voting unanimous 1st place MVP win for Josh Allen.
Not all INTs are created equal. As a life long fan who never misses a game there were a couple INT's that were essentially hail mary esc 4th and long desperation plays. Regardless of that though, the fact he was still over a 2 to 1 td to turnover ratio with nearly 20 is insane. Something not being discussed either stat wise is that Josh has 40-50 less snaps than Lamar has thus far this season. He's been sat the remainder/most of the 4th quarter several times when it's over.
Of course he deserves it, Lamar last season had a waaaay worse statistical season than Allen and yet he won it because his team had a great D and they were the 1 seed. How're we going then the next season in a close race give another one to Lamar with the better roster, coach, running game when Allen has done all this in a rebuild or a "take a step back" year. Cut his TO's from around 15-20 down to 5.....C'mon..
Lamar is beating Josh statistically but only in dinosaur stats that matter to dumb dumbs. In the advanced statistics the efficiency metrics things like total QBR points added above average EPA win rate success rate Josh Allen crushes Lamar Jackson and those are the stats intelligent people care about.
Im not interested in a Lamar video, the top arguments for Josh Less talent/supporting cast is unknown Beat the top 2 teams Had better stats than Lamar last year and they gave it too Lamar, so this year pay whats owed
@@hunterfischer25 I’m saying he is not a top 5 passer this season statistically (He has the 9th most passing yards -ESPN). But subjectively I would definitely take him top 5 all day.
In 2023, almost half of Allen's interceptions were better than a punt at it's point in each game. Yes, a few were bad red zone turnovers but we also don't know how many were due to receivers running the wrong routs but there were at least 5 that gave the ball to the other team at their own 5 or 10 yard lines which could have been touchbacks from a punt.
Ravens fans are just hypocrites or just dumb cuz they said it wasn't bout stats only cuz they knew allen had 44tds to Jackson 29tds and they not saying nothing bout allen sat in the 4thq 3 times cuz they were up big and the ravens lost to the raiders and browns
Lamar is a beast. He's having his best statistical season ever this year. The only reason he's not being lauded as the favorite is probably his RB. Mutually, Lamar and Derrick Henry are making the game so much easier for each other in that offense. It's beautiful to see except when they're running and throwing all over your team. Josh is doing what he's doing with less help and has produced a better record. For those still clamoring that Josh should have won it last year, just look at the wins we're getting this season because Josh is not turning the ball over. If he was doing this last season, he'd have won the MVP over Lamar. Not taking anything away from Lamar - he's great. But let's see if Josh will close out the season on a high note. Truth be told, for Bills Mafia, we're much less concerned about MVP status compared to Superbowl win. It's not a question which one to choose if only one is attainable.
@orphy6869 this will also be his 5th straight year of 4k+passing/yards & 40+TDs, 4 years straight was already an all time record, that won't be broke for quite some time. .
The MVP award should not be about numbers or stats. It should be about who is the most valuable player for their team. Forget the numbers. Where would Buffalo be this season without Josh? Not taking away from any of his teammates because everyone is giving 100% with no drama but with an average quarterback they might be 4 and 10. That's what makes him the MVP, not passing yards or rushing touchdowns.
@Galloway17 I wouldn't say less impressive.... (BTW I am a LONG TIME Buffalo Bills fan and fully on-board the JA17 MVP "train" as he really has earned it more than all other players at this point, no doubts at all.....).
@@suscon1140 You're right, "less impressive" isn't the phrase I should have used. Clearly what Saquon is doing this year is impressive. But since they don't really put asterisks on records, it behooves those pushing Saquon for MVP to acknowledge that he had an extra game to accomplish the new record, if he does break it.
Bills are overrated and 2 and 3 vs playoff teams this year. And play in the worst division against easy teams most the year.😂 If the bills had the ravens schedule, they wouldn't even make the playoffs. Lamar mvp
Its not their fault they got this easy schedule, and were "overrated" but yet we werent supposed to make playoffs, we beat the two 1 seeds, lamar has lost to two teams he shouldnt of, browns and raiders, josh has lost to 3 good teams, our defense hasnt shown up the last two weeks and yet, we are 1-1 in the last two weeks, in the bills last 4 weeks played, took down the number 1 seeds, scoring 155-107, has scored 16 touchdowns, the last 4 weeks for buffalo were also 4 teams that were expected to make playoffs at the beginning of the season, and now only 3 are right now. Lets also not forget, you take allen out of buffalo, they are 3-11, you take lamar out of baltimore they might go to 7-7. Allen is more of a Valueable player to buffalo then lamar is to baltimore
Bro. You tryna say Lamar is better than superman cuz it is NOT EVEN CLOSE. As a eagles fan I can say we are TERRIFIED of this absolute monster. Also he has no other stars to work with on offense. Josh Allen is nowhere near as low as Lamar. Lamars whole thing is running but Josh can run too, and his throws and game sense are 10x better lol
dude really? you are out of you mind….. anyone arguing that Josh Allen isnt the Most Valuable Player to his team is just insane…. Ravens added a superstar, and got worse, Bills lost a superstar, and got better lol
Josh has better numbers this year than Lamar has this year. Now I know Lamar is leading in the dinosaur stats for dumb dumbs but Josh leads in all the advanced analytics and efficiency metrics. Total QBR wind rate EPA per drop back points added over average and success rate all go to Josh Allen and most of them buy a pretty wide margin. Those are the stats that intelligent fans the people really in the no care about. It's why Josh is such a huge favor in the bedding markets and it's why Lamar Jackson has almost no chance to win. He would need Josh Allen to play shitty in two of the last three games and lose some games too.
@@Stockhandle123 Lamar is having a historic year and he's leading in alot more categories than Allen. He also smashed the bills head to head. And if you're gonna go around calling other fans unintelligent you should do more homework and learn how to spell first. Like I said Josh is playing great but I got Lamar...You can type 4 more paragraphs if you want you're not changing my mind.
Youre an idiot. Lamar is only in the convo because Henry. Allen is doing far more with much less. Didn't Lamar lose to mahomes? And who had Mahomes lost to? Oh, and Lamar didnt win that game, Henry beat Buffalo.

45 to be exact
If I'm not mistaken he's only thrown like 3 redzone ints his whole career.
You have to watch allens game. 3 sport triathlete showing thru. Sooo much analysis with this man.

ALLEN HAS A BETTER QBR AND EPA, ALSO ALLEN IS ON PACE TO BE THE ONLY QB IN NFL HISTORY WITH A 90+ RATING FROM PFF IN FIVE STRAIGHT SEASONS.
Thank you for pointing this out. This has been the big difference.

Eric Dickerson set his record in one less game.
