This episode here would mark the final time when Card Game was played under the 1983 rules ($2,000 bid and $500-$1,000 special decks, 2 each) and by this point, the split screen on this game when it came to the reveal was done away with. Also they used the MRRP (bass buzzer) sound for this loss on an overbid, which I don't understand why later in the 90s they switched sound effects from MRRP to BUZZ (tenor buzzer) that didn't make sense, even though the tenor buzzer was fine for underbids.
Also for each of those 6 One Bid Prizes & 2 Showcases, I would have guessed the following. Bumper Pool Table: $1,450 Dishwasher: $449 Bombay Chest: $550 Ceiling Fan: $1,190 Sofa: $1,650 Hammock: $640 1st Showcase: $10,000 2nd Showcase: $14,250
First off the audience was so hyped too bad wasnt much winner & second im shock that the 2 final contestants that played in showcase have the same name as my & my moms bf too bad My moms bf won
5:05 Man! How the HELL could Rita play the Clock Game so badly? Even I could do much better than her! And she was SO close to nailing that $659 price for that TV. BTW, this was one of the rarest occasions that the "Losing Horns" cue was heard when someone waste 30 seconds of even guessing the first prize.
Now that was rare, usually they would use the regular buzzer for a loss in this pricing game. I do believe this fell into the category of some other games, like 1 Right Price, Double Prices, and Hi Lo, where Money Game for 1985 episodes would also use the foghorn as well.
Thank you Bob Barker for keeping me company during the chicken pox when I was in 5th grade in 1993.
Janice, Holly, and Kathleen are the ones that I miss terribly.
Me too. Especially Holly.
Me too
CAR
Dude was hyped to be there and I don’t blame him. Especially if Bob was still the host.
I love it when they offer trips along with the car in Master Key! They once offered a trip to the Mall of America!
It was on at 11am this morning with Bob Barker.
I love Frank’s enthusiasm so much, haha.
THIS IS THE ONLY SEGMENT SHE GET ALL 3 OF THESE. GOOD GOING! FINALLY!
43:07 YES!!! Carline has saved the day! Her E.S.P. worked like a charm.
I miss seeing ceiling fans as prizes on the show
Me, too. I think they make great prizes in One Bid, Any Number, and Race Game. Really, they just make great prizes.
It was on today at 11am when it on CBS.
I just loved when they play The Big Banana cue
Poor Bob should have gotten hazard pay sometimes, as evidenced by Carline's enthusiastic reaction.

Please never stop posting these tidbits. They are so fascinating!
I’m guessing around 1976 to 1992 were the times the Card Game used the split screen back then.
Master Key was the only pricing game won. Kudos to Carline for saving the show from stinking!
34:51 when the foghorn is used on a Squeeze Play loss where the shock buzzer normally goes.
Can't wait to see the next one. Keep it up.
Oil Of Olay was played @ 13:51.
Thanks very much indeed, for this video. That was one of my happiest day. ❤❤❤❤❤🙏🙏👍👍

12:01 Joan should've stopped right there with that nine of spades. She had that '93 Dodge Colt right in her hands.
Right when I saw Rita I KNEW she had no chance at the Clock Game.
Even I could do better playing.
I remember this one back in 93, memories!! Do you have 4/8/1997 & 9/16/1997 Episodes that you can upload??

LOL Frank!
