For real though writing Apple as a lesbian would've been so interesting for her character, the fact she dated a boy because she had to for her destiny but never truly loved him ( a lot of gay people dated the opposite gender to fit in), if Ever After High wasn't cancelled it could've been interesting to see her finding out Darling was the one who saved her, realising she also has feelings for her but being torn between marrying a prince to follow her destiny or accept that she's into girls and it's no big deal if her happily ever after is different from what she imagined.
Honestly, if a fan of EAH dropped some fanfic about this I'd go completely bonkers. We missed out on so much because of Disney's everlasting power trip. X.x

It seems pretty clear that Daring is the "Prince Charming" of Beauty and the Beast, as we see in Epic Winter. He turns into a beast, finds purpose outside of his beauty, and learns to see past appearances. He also ends up falling for Rosabella, which (up to that point) didn't go against either of their stories.
(Unsure if this is an unpopular opinion, but I really enjoyed seeing Daring and Rosabella as a pair! The writers built up to Daring's character arc and we got to see more of Rosabella.)
I know that most people think that the kiss from Dragon Games was the first time there was anything gay between the characters Apple White and Darling Charming, and it defiantly was canonical confirmation and great representation, but it wasn’t the first.
The kiss aired January 29, 2016, but two years earlier on March 25, 2014 the book Ever After High The Unfairest of Them All hit the shelves and in chapter 20 Darling asks everyone to look away, but Apple sneaks a glance anyway and falls under Darling's spell.
Many boys in that room have crushes on Darling and yet not a single one of them looked at Darling, everyone but Apple turned away. Apple could not help but stare at Darlings beauty and accidentally fell under her spell. And after seeing the hair flip and “Darling lowered her eyelids halfway and smiled coyly” all Apple could manage to say was “Enchanting”
So in summery you can’t convince me otherwise that Apple had a very intense gay moment for Darling right here.

Music slaps extremely hard and the songs are super catchy, choreo is stunning to watch, designs are super pretty, the cast is absolutely talented, full of energy and slay throughout the entire show. 'What's my name' is fantastic and burned into my memory even tho it's not even sung by the MAIN CHARACTERS. The story is definitely similar to EAH but it totally tells it in its own creative and engaging way.
In my opinion, rather than trash Descendants, trash Disney. They're the ones who made the ones who made the decision to Thanos snap EAH's conclusion, not the property itself.

When I was younger I thought Darling would be the true “Prince” Charming, like it would go to whichever sibling fit the role the most. Daring being the obvious pick at first, but when Darling saved Apple, she technically sealed the place as the next “Prince” Charming because she fit the role of being Apple’s savior.

And CPR is when you forcibly pump the heart, which, in certain situations can be used for when someone is choking, but only if they stopped breathing, passed out, etc. either way, they didn’t do CPR or the Heimlich maneuver, so they definitely kissed.

Yes! Apple is definitely a lesbian! I agree about the way she acts around Daring. It's forced and she doesn't like it. And it isn't CPR, it's a kiss. I really wish we got to see more of Apple and Darling and I'm sad the show was cancelled. I also think if the show hadn't been cancelled we would have seen more character development with Apple learning to accept that destines don't define who a person is and they aren't set in stone.

I just finished the series!! Season 1 was definitely my favorite season, I didn’t care for the 3d animation they started implementing in season 2, but it got better by Epic Winter! Season 1 made me genuinely laugh a lot, and had other side stories besides the main plot which I enjoyed. I feel like they lost that charm somewhere!! I also wish they made a doll of Celise’s dress in the last episode of season 4, it is sooo cute😭
I don’t mean to sound like I’m bashing I loved the show and I’m going to rewatch it very soon because it’s a fast watch! I just started Monster High today and it’s sooo good! I hate that I’m getting into these shows so late because the dolls are SO CUTE and I want them all but alas I’m a 22 year old college student and I have to pay for my own toys now
My favourite season is definetly dragon games. I think the reason they did that was because they got an increase in budget and wanted to improve the animation! But I totally get liking the original vibe more! Which Cerise dress are you referring to? I can't remember which season is season four cus I just remember the names of them also they different one netflix vs RUclips. Have you watched the RUclips webisodes yet?? They add alot more cool stuff to the story!

also cpr is for drowning and heart issues, not choking. That’s the heimlich. Which does not involve mouth to mouth. So to claim it was “cpr” to “save her life” doesn’t make sense because in order to get the apple out she would have to do the heimlich which is very NOT romantic- she just knew that apple wasn’t in love with daring and she was the answer

@CartoonLily , yeah, that annoys me a lot too. I thought it was obvious from the start that it was both CPR and True Love's Kiss at once, but then I saw a video talking about the debate and was confused on why people thought it had to be one or the other... Like stuff can be 2 things.
